This isn't as thought out.. but it's pretty in there.

Statistics

Strength: Not exactly strong. The use of magic has lazed his strength.

Intelligence: He's smart, wanting to use spells for the better. (Type of spells however, are Hard to think of. I want help in this area). He knows How wizards have fought and defended.

Cutie Mark: A book, with a blue flame coming from the pages.

Personality Summed up: Aloof, willing to learn, wanting to learn. Has a knack for adventure.

Spells Torchlight (Horn is used as a light). A short Teleport (Uses a lot of energy. only one at a time). Telekinesis (Uses little energy, and is used to carry things with little effort, and bring them to Cobalt, or to create distractions)

History

His history is similar to others, He's learned from school the basic things, learned from books more advanced things, he had a mother and father who worked normal jobs. Cobalt mostly kept to himself as he stuffed his nose into Magic spell books, in attempts to recreate them. In doing this, he would be on the outskirts of his home town of Manehattan and practice. Most of these spells didn't work of course because he still doesn't have the knowledge just yet to cast them. However, the few spells he has cast, the books had burned, and became no more.

Cobalt got his cutie mark at about his first self-taught spell: Teleportation. When he learned this spell, he was so excited, as he had ran back to his home to show his parents what had happened. Yes, we all know that it's a big celebration to learn what you're good at, so we'll skip ahead.

As time went on and he learned a few more spells, using them to his advantage in certain adventures, he finally decided it was time to leave his home of Manehattan. He worked enough to get bits to go into Canterlot, and when he got there, it wasn't quite as spectacular as he imagined. He worked and lived there for a good few years, has himself a house and everything. It isn't exactly large or spectacular, but it's good enough for him, and maybe a couple of others. During the time he's stayed in Canterlot, he's still has a knack for adventure. As he explored the alleyways and shortcuts not many people take, he came upon this red pony.. He looked tired, and alone. He had found Brave Charger, who seemed lost and confused. As Cobalt allowed Brave to stay in his home, more time had passed, and they had became true friends, as they seemed to go more places together than alone.
