So, I'm minding my own business, enjoying my day off from work. I go on to Facebook and check out my local brony community and somepony in the chat started saying that they wanted the Ponies to sing Korean Songs. K-Pop to be exact. For the record, I do not hate K-Pop. In fact I like a few K-Pop songs and a Korean video game called DJ-Max with a lot of K-Pop in it. So anyway, I comment about K-Pop being overly saturated here (In the Philippines K-Pop stuff is like a disease of sorts) and I sort of say that I don't want the Ponies to sing K-Pop. As expected, rage. It seemed that I irked the person who said the comment. So I try to calm the situation down and say the same could be said of MLP:FiM itself. Many Bronies try to "ponify" everything to the point that I don't find it funny. Naturally, whoever that guy was, he essssplodes twice and quotes Article 19 of the Philippine Constitution about "Freedom of Speech". *Facehoof* Not wanting this confrontation to continue, I give a disclaimer saying that it's only my opinion and I'm not forcing it. I end it there and move on.
Sigh... what a way to start a day off.
