  1. I'm sorry, but if I may be so bold, I would like to know about his talents and personality.. He seems an interesting character
  2. That sounds like it would be fun. Also, as Silver isn't very cooperative.. Once I finish, would you, erm, mind roleplaying with me? I'd have to get used to it somehow :'D
  3. Ah, I see the problem! I'm using Internet Explorer, when I thought I was using my Chrome. I used Google Chrome to check, and it's fine. I'll just use it through there. Thanks anyway!
  4. Yeah, that sounds more reasonable. Thanks! I'll get working on it once I finish thinking up her story.
  5. Since yesterday, when I type in canterlot.com, it sends me to a "host gator" site, and I can only get in here through a link about e-mail confirmation. My friend tried it at her house but there was no problem for her, though.
  6. Thank you very much! I shall look into these.
  7. Thanks! Yeah, I was thinking that sounded a bit strange. But I want her to have a good position for her age, but not just a typical guard.. Any suggestions? And thank you! :3
  8. I was creating an application for my mare, but when I came upon the part about occupation, I knew I wanted her to be part of a guard of some sort. Is Celestia's royal guard the only guard there is? Just wondering.
  9. Well, I sure hope this comes out okay. I haven't RP'd in years! XD I'll also try to get a drawing of her up, once I find my tablet again. Also, I'm sorry her summary is so long. I did it just to be safe XD And I would really like for her to get to be a bit more social.. e.e Name: Silversword Sex: Female Age: Mare (20) Species: Pegasus pony Pelt color: Silver, with a gooseberry green tinge. Mane/Tail/Markings/Color & Style: Silversword's mane is of medium length, pushed to one side (think of how Applejacks' mane is on one side), wavy and up to her forearms. Her forelock is styled to the side, and choppy. Her primary feathers are gooseberry green. Her wing-feathers are slightly longer then expected for Pegasi. Also, her tail is similar to Soarin's', except it is shorter and the choppy sides have a curving tip. Eye color: Silversword has orange-yellow eyes. Cutie Mark: Two crossed swords. (Cheesy, right? ) Physique: As a member of the Royal Guard, she is rather strong. She is taller then most mares, and has a slender build. Her strength lays in her legs. Origin: Manehatten (she's used to the hustle and bustle of the city.) Roleplay type: Mane Occupation: Silver is a recent recruit into the ranks of the Destriers Motivation: Silversword, although not a very sociable pony will defend those in need of it, and believes greatly in a sense of justice and law. Some may even say she is a bit blind with ambition. Likes: Quiet time, sparring, fruit, intelligent conversations, reading, long trots, swimming, honor, and honesty. Dislikes: Long distance, or high altitude flights (or just flying in general), overly curious, chatty, or secretive ponies, luxuries, dancing, and too many sweets. Character summary: Hawkfeather and Stormwalker had always wanted a foal. For years, the couple had been dreaming that with Celestias' blessing, they would have their very own child, somepony to love and teach and care for. Stormwalker wanted a colt. Somepony tough enough to take up a military position, but virtuous enough to become a Destrier and to help those in need. Hawkfeather desired that the foal that they would someday have be a little filly, to care for all things beautiful. Above all, she wanted a foal in which she could instill her love of dancing into. When the foal was finally born, it had been a filly with a coat of gray, and fiery eyes. Her father, on one of his half-year sabbaticals took one look at the filly and muttered that he would like to name her Silversword. "My dear, isn't that a bit too.. I don't know, I'd have liked to call her something nice, something sensible, like--" Hawkfeather started, only to be interrupted by her husband, who placed a reassuring hoof on their daughter. "For the Destriers, their sword is like a piece of them. It is something that only we train in, and it is always made for the individual. No two swords are ever alike. They defend and protect others. This is why I would like to name her this." And with that, the matter was decided. The young filly named Silversword had always been socially awkward. Delicate and kind above all things, her mother, Hawkfeather, tried to teach Silversword the impact that tenderness could have on ponies. Her father, Stormwalker, had wanted a colt to continue in his position of a Destrier, and taught her chivalry and sparring, hoping that she would not follow in her mothers' path and become a dancer. Not knowing what would make both her parents happy, she became somewhat of a social recluse, preferring to keep her opinions to herself and speak only when spoken to. As other ponies started getting their cutie marks, they teased her, saying, "Wouldn't it be just terrible if your cutie mark had nothing to do with your name? You'd be the laughingstock of Manehatten!" to which she would keep her eyes down and trot past. She was quiet and kept to herself, a fact that her teachers noted. "Silversword does not seem to share her opinion or speak in class very often. She does not interact much with others," they would tell her parents, who in turn talked to her. When asked why she was so quiet, she replied, "Isn't it easier to keep your thoughts to yourself? You can mull over them without having to offend anypony." She then returned to reading up on the Destriers. Every time her father returned for half-year breaks, he taught his child how to fight. Sparring, how to use weapons, weak spots on ponies.. He taught her everything she might need, and it came in handy early on. One day, as she trotted home from school like everypony else, she came across a unicorn blocking her path. He mocked her for her blank flank and made her trip using magic. He continued to bother her, until she finally kicked the unicorn in the face, slipped past him, and trotted back home. The unicorn wasn't really hurt, but rather dazed and embarrassed that a little filly could best him. When Silversword arrived home, she was surprised to see her cutie mark, and her parents congratulated her, her mother beginning to prepare a special celebratory dinner, and her father told her she might actually be able to become a Destrier now that she had such an interesting cutie mark, especially one to do with swords! After dinner, they went outside and practiced some sparring again. As she grew older, Silversword kept practicing fighting, and discovered a love for reading, swimming, and galloping through wide-open spaces. She would often wake up early in order to run. She rarely ever flew, and especially not at heights. This caused her to be disliked by many Pegasi in the school and city, but she simply couldn't muster the courage to fly like they all could. It made her even more socially awkward, as many Pegasi held her in disdain. Currently, she has no friends but she believes it is due to her "work ethics". In reality, it is due to the fact that she is slightly unresponsive to other ponies unless they speak to her about something interesting, or work-related. She is really not that approachable, and prefers to listen rather then talk. Silversword signed up for the Destriers as soon as she was old enough, and is now a recent recruit. She still hasn't had her sword made yet. Additional notes: -Social and romantically awkward due to reluctance to interact with others, Silversword can be clueless a lot as to what things someponies say. -Silver does not enjoy flying. Especially not at high altitude. {As mentioned previously} She tends to keep all four hooves on the ground, or if not, will simply glide above the ground, only a couple inches above it. She tends to act like an Earth pony, or will wear things that cover her wings due to her fear of flying (and falling out of the sky). -Fighting is one of the few things that really makes Silver happy. Besides reading up on combat tactics. -Silver is an uncooperative pony and can come off as unapproachable at times. -Her wings are rather weak due to disuse, so she can't really pull off any high-flying, even if she wanted to. -Silversword has a pet blue jay. Is that okay? Final edit: These are just the absolute LAST things I wanted to add in.... maybe. *ideas spew everywhere* Silversword can be friendly, if the conditions are right and the pony is intelligent enough. She will drink, if she feels the need, but never enough to look unprofessional. Her 'living quarters' are stark and 'Spartan' in that she does not decorate. The only personal items in there are a picture of her parents (again, cheesy!) and her "Book of Ethics''. She is not biased in talking to anypony, but remember, she will not start a conversation. She also enjoys to watch others, to see how they interact. Silversword also has piercings. (Forgot to mention!) She has a circular stud at the top of her ear, and two little ones along the side of her ear. nothing big, nothing to go against regulations. Also, she travels a lot. She's not on duty very much because, well, she's a new recruit. (and she tries to never look clumsy or be an embarrassment lol)
