  1. Quasar couldn't help but feel amazed at Silversword, watching her make her way up to the cloud. After she made it on there he gave her big smile. "How does it feel?" he inquired. He stayed there- unmoving for a moment, allowing her to catch her breath. "And... you're not weak. Weak would have been not giving it a chance." he returned, still amazed with her making it that far. He looked up in the air, to the hole in the clouds that was once filled by the one she stood on now. He looked back to her finishing himself, "Think we can finish the job?" He hovered beside her, trying to show that he wouldn't leave her side.
  2. Staying away from the RP on Canterlot? Well anyways- I hope you like it here ^^" What are your 2 platinums btw?
  3. "Flying doesn't have to be graceful," Quasar continued still with his smile, "I mean, what I just did wasn't really graceful, right?" It made him smile a lot to see how happy she was with the cloud, hoping it would help her to relax more. He hadn't seen her so nervous, but he could understand why. "Relax," He whispered, hoping to reassure her, "I won't let anything happen." We can start slow if you'd like? He sailed back up into the sky quickly nabbing another cloud, slightly smaller than himself, and pull it down with him. He stopped about halfway in between the rest of the clouds and the water. "You, could try for this?" he pondered with a smile.
  4. "Maybe, you went too fast? You know, like... not ready to do that yet?" he attempted to keep comforting her. He smiled, and held the cloud closer. "Would you like to hold it?" he asked, offering it to her. He added, smiling a lot, "If... you'd like to practice, either now or ever... I'd gladly help.."
  5. Quasar blinked, never noticing her so timid. He neared toward her, and wanting to comfort her, nudged his muzzle to the edge of her wing. "Maybe... you just need a little practice?" he asked, hoping to comfort her. "I was, a slow learner in flight school, I still can't do as much as the other ponies there could," he continued, hoping it would let her relax. "Please don't apologize, you haven't done anything wrong." In one last thing, he began beating his wings again, sailing high in the air, not stopping until he reach the edge of the clouds. When he got there, he fluttered around for a moment, looking for the smallest cloud he could find. After finding a nicely sized one, about the size of a saddlebag, he took it in his hooves and rolled upside down, beating his wings to pull it back down to the surface. He nudged the small cloud about a foot about the surface of the water, and pushed it a bit closer to her. "Would you like to touch one?" he inquired with a smile.
  6. This ^^ My names Dalton, but i dont care for it... I go by Cuddleshy here ^^"
  7. "To be honest, I didn't either..." he remarked, quite surprised with himself, "its, been a while since I flew like that..." He thought back, to some of his few good memories at flight school, but quickly directed his mind elsewhere to stop himself from the other memories. He changed his mind to a question as he slowly bobbed around in the water. He was a bit nervous to ask but, pushed himself to inquire anyways. "Maybe... one day... if it's ok... I could fly with you?" He winced a little, hoping it didn't sound too weird to here. "As long as it'd be a comfy fishbowl.." he joked back.
  8. He giggled out, "I'm... sorry," keeping the long smile he had been, "I wasn't trying to startle you." After hearing her inquiry, he poked his wings and still soaking tail out of the water. He wiggled them a bit, as if to make sure they were there, and then glanced back at her. "Nope," he chuckled out, "only Pegasus." He watched her a little, as he lowered his wings and tail back into the water. He was still excited, but had gotten the burst of energy out of his system.
  9. "B....Befriended?" His mind repeated to himself. He gave a somewhat wince of a blink and trotting along. At the moment, he was very excited. He wasn't sure if it was the freedom, the swimming, or feeling so relaxed in front of his nearby companion; but he felt exhilarated. His wings rustled a bit, as if they were asking not only to be simply used, but to be pushed for what they could do. He was scared of what Silversword would think but, it was too late- he could not hold back his excitement anymore; everything was too great. The clear mind, the open water, the wonderful new- dare he say it- 'friend'; were all too amazing to just let him sit there in such a calm state. He let the excitement burst from him, slapping down his wings as heavily as he could to toss himself in the air. Before he landed back down he lunged himself forward, beating his wings in a quick and heavy rhythm as he sailed above the water. Keeping his speed around the lake, he let his front hooves skim across the water, adding the warm relaxation on top of the exciting happiness he had just found. He wanted more. Taking a deep breath, Quasar directed himself downwards and dived deep into the lake, still beating his wings as if he were flying underwater. He kept himself submerged, steadily slowing down as he moved his way back to the shore where Silversword was. With the last bit of breath he had, he moved closer to Silversword, and gently poked his head out of the water a few feet away from her. He laughed for a moment, and then in a joking tone, he snickered out, "....Hi!"
  10. He smiled, having the sense something was on her mind but much more preoccupied with trying to relax her. Quasar nodded happily, feeling a slowly growing excitement. He admit, "I... haven't done it in ages... It feels so great to do it again." He slipped back under the water again, and burst back out, beating his wings heavily to lift himself above the surface. He hovered there for a moment, dripping with water and smiling more than ever with an energetic happiness he had never felt before. "Don't worry," he added, hovering back towards her, "Anything for a fri-" Quasar stopped himself, scared of using the word too freely. After a slight moment of hesitation, he picked up, "You would have done it for me I'm sure." Trying not to keep his mind on that, he landed back down beside her, and without saying anything, stretched one of his wings over her hoof, letting the water drip on the edge of it. "See? Not too cold..." he giggled out.
  11. Quasar smiled to her, and hoping he wasn't being annoying, and asked one more time with a smile, "Are you sure?" He giggled for a moment, and without thinking about it tried to lighten the mood, joking about it. "Well, It'd be a fine day to fall in the lakes," he said with a slighty laugh, remarking his damp pelt. "The water is great today..." With that, he softly started beating his wings until he came to a slight hover, and drifted back above the surface of the shallow water. He smiled to her and dropped into the water making a small splash. After a short moment, he poked his head out of the water and directed a big smile to her. "And... there's nothing to apologize for, you've done no wrong," he continued, "...I promise."
  12. He looked up a little, keeping his muzzle where it was. "It's alright... I'm sorry for waking you," he said, keeping his smile hoping it would calm her even in the slightest. "You looked like something was bothering you... I... wanted to make sure you were alright." he continued. Quasar nudged her hoof one last time, hoping to help the transition from sleeping to being awake and alert again, and then slowly back off. "Is there anything on your mind? That you'd like to talk about?" he asked, keeping his smile hoping to reassure her.
  13. Quasar noticed his acquaintance tossing in her sleep. Without any further thought he got out of the water and got closer to her. It puzzled him a bit- wondering what was on her mind, but regardless of what it was, he didn't want to let it keep bothering her. He leaned closer, and pushed his still wet nose against the edge of her front hoof, wanting to wake her from what seemed to be troubling her. He paused for a moment and spoke, barely over a whisper, "S...Silversword?" It not being enough, he lowered his muzzle, nudged a bit firmer to her hoof, and repeated himself, a bit louder this time. "Silversword? Are you alright?"
  14. After a few minutes of relaxing, Quasar picked his head back up. He was a little tired, but not tired enough to nap just yet. He glanced up to Silversword, and smiled a bit. With that he trotted to the edge of the water and slowly submerged his front hooves in the lake. The water was calm and relaxing, and he enjoyed it greatly. With that, he continued trotting forward, slowly submerging himself until nothing was out of the water save his head. He was filled with an overwhelming feeling of freedom. It gave him peace in his mind, and he heard his own voice inside his head, "You've made a good choice..." He smiled, and returned to enjoying the water.
  15. He smiled a lot, feeling safe around Silversword. He trusted the mare and relaxed completely where he laid. His mind for once today was clear and calm and he smiled slightly. Without saying much more, he rested his eyes for a moment, and softly muttered out , "Th.... Thank you."
  16. *peaks in* Whos winning now? Tell them i said congratulations *scoots back out*
  17. Quasar mumbled out, a bit tired himself, "Sure, I could use that." He looked up again, still smiling. He wanted to ask what was on her mind but decided to stay quiet again. He took off his bags and curled up on the ground beside her still talking, "I don't see why though, you seem like a really nice pony to have as one..." He yawned softly and leaned his head down a but, still keeping his relaxed smile.
  18. Quasar realized she didn't enjoy talking about it, and quickly silenced himself. He wondered if there was anything he could help her with, but decided for right now it would be best to stay quiet. He redirected himself to what she said first, then asked- almost repetitively, "So, Canterlot is first on the list?" He smiled and stumbled out, "You know... you remind me of an old friend..." After saying that, he paused, and with a slight frown thought about what he just said, "Friend?" It gave him a longing feeling saying that word again. He missed his friend from the past and realized he didn't have anyone to call by that now. He smiled and looked back up, hoping to hide everything on his mind.
  19. "I haven't decided yet," he said, less timid than usual, "I've thought about Canterlot a bit, and I would like to see more of central Equestria... but I'm just not sure yet..." He looked to her with a puzzled and curious expression- "Whats Manehattan like?" he asked, wondering if it might be good to visit?
  20. Quasar smiled more. He sat there for a moment, wondering what was on her mind, and giggling along with her comments. He grinned a bit as she took the piece of apple, before tossing another piece in his own mouth. He wanted to say thank you again but instead smiled, and kept chewing. "I'd.... like that..." he said with a smile, "...alot." He sat up, feeling more and more comfortable around her with each moment.
  21. "I.... am?" he asked, a bit confused. If she didn't like so many other ponies, why would he be so different to her? He smiled at her offer, realizing how much he'd like that. Although he had only met her, he felt this was the closest he had to a friend since several years "Are you sure, that wouldn't be a hassle? If you're a busy pony I can go anytime." He said with a smile.
  22. He winced a little hearing that, realized that he did. A lot. He nodded slowly, trying not to think about that feeling. Instead he changed his attention, again, to her questions. "I'm really not sure. I, was hoping I'd figure out along the road some time." He said, realizing he hadn't thought that far ahead yet. Noticing her still eating drew his attention to his own hunger. He reached inside his back and pulled out one of the apples she gave him, smiling a lot at the thought about it. He scooted over, to sit a bit closer to her, and broke a piece away from the apple, offering it to her.
  23. Quasar sat down and watched her a little, still smiling slightly. He didn't know why, but he felt comfortable telling her more. "My, Mum lived back in the Solstice Heights..." he continued, "and... that's kinda the only... family there is to talk about..." He looked across the water, trying to concentrate on it to let his mind calm. He looked back, giggling roughly, and added, "I hope I'm not being a bore.."
