I feel like I was a pretty bad offender when it came to writing long Apps. i'd like to say I'm sorry for taking up your time, and that Any more apps in the future will be shorter! It's just that I like writing a lot of backstory for a character, because it helps solidify how they act in my head, and I liked making my intentions for the character as clear as possible.

There's nothing wrong with writing backstory! Just have it attached in a later post or link to it in your App. Keep the app itself short. Keep in mind that we also will not be assessing the back story as part of the application, so it's considered separate, but if you want to write something that's very cool and just fine! It's just as a matter of trying to keep apps from going on about things that have nothing to do with that pony whatsoever when we're trying to determine whether or not the pony themselves will fit in the RP.

If you are having trouble with the chat, or enter it and it appears to be a blank channel, type the following into a blank line:

/join #CanterlotCentral

and it should connect you.

Update: The problem with Mibbit is something that is beyond our ability to control at this time. SImply type the above instruction once you connect and it should join you in the channel, but otherwise we have no way to fix the automatic connection at this time.

The idea of the 'Free For All' section is that applications are not required, there are no restrictions on what kind of RP can be played (Beyond keeping to the no gore and no sex rules). It doesn't mean any RP in them is available for anyone, that's at the discretion of whomever is actually running those RP's. But you are more than welcome to start your own roleplays in there!

You'll need to fix your image links. .BMP is not a valid file format, you'll need .JPG, .GIF or .PNG.
