  1. HOOO BOY WHAT A GREAT DAY

I don't know if you guys remember but, back in February my dad managed to get us tickets to one of my favorite bands. Today, I got out of work early to go to the concert. Roughly a 2 hour drive but I was really looking forward to it...   Things were a little fishy though. We ordered the tickets through a third party broker but never received the email with them in it. We weren't too worried because, on the site, it says tickets will sometimes be distributed only hours before the concert.. Then, this morning, my dad got an email from them saying "We hope you enjoyed the show!". We thought it was strange they worded it past-tense like that.. So, we're about half way there and we decide to call the ticket company just to verify. Apparently, they're just the middle man and don't email the tickets, someone else does from a personal email account. So we found the email with the tickets (which was buried since it was sent back in February)..

Yeeeaah so the tickets we bought were to see the band perform yesterday

Five months of build up for a crushing letdown.   But hey, we went to see Ant-Man and The Wasp while we were out so it's all good guys!

  2.  I have heard of Black Butler.. I'll have to look into it soon!

Hyouka was actually the first or second anime I ever watched. I think you might've even been the one that recommended it.. Or was it Rose? Ah well, I did like that one a lot. Mystery stories have always been one of my favorite genres..

  3. Made in Abyss was hard to watch but I ultimately did very much enjoy it. As I said, violence and all that doesn't appeal to me but for some reason I could get down with MiA. To me, animes like FMA and even SAO are the best. Action, adventure, comedy, some romance, and some not-so-horrible violence and peril. Though FMA: Brotherhood did lean a bit into the gorey side at times, it wasn't all that hard to watch.

Another genre I love is, well, whatever Erased would be considered as. That mystery 'who done it?' kinda story with a real sense of urgency and some time travel to boot. I'd like to see more stuff like that...

  4. Yeeeaaaah I'm for that as long as I avoid gore and excessive violence... I, personally, like to bounce around between comedies, romcoms, romance, comroms, action-comedy-romance, comedy-action-romance, romance-action-comedy-highschool, hischool-romcom-action-adventure, adventure-action-romance-highschool-comedies...

Oh and whatever Made in Abyss is.

Rocky, that's awful. Watching someone die really gives you perspective for your own life and choices, and how quickly things can go wrong for a person.

It really does.. I usually always wear my seatbelt but, now I'm going to always wear it...

I'm still a little shaken up about it and still kinda in disbelief that I actually witnessed something so tragic... It's got my mind all fuzzy today. I can't think too straight and the thought of death has been on my mind on and off all day...

On a lighter note, I met a guy in my town today who is actually named Rocky. So... I assure you, today has honestly still been an amazing day!

  6. So I was at the local weekly car show this evening

     Everything was going fine

     When suddenly

     Out of nowhere

      Fatal car accident

I'll put the story in here if anyone wants to read it.

I was talking to a friend at the row of cars closest to the road when a Cadillac with Florida plates (I'm in NH so, if it's not a rental car, he's awfully far from home..) whips by us doing what looked like about 90mph in a 35mph zone. He swerves around a car and barely misses two in the oncoming lane. Right after that, he gets to a (obviously unanticipated) sharp curve and just as he disappears from sight, we hear a loud screeeeech and BOOM. Hit an SUV head-on and sent it up an embankment. Whole front of the Cadillac was destroyed. I actually had to direct traffic to a side street until police arrived. Luckily, the SUV driver managed, with help, to walk to the ambulance. Cadillac driver was gone instantly.

YEP WON'T BE FORGETTING THIS ONE FOR A WHILE

I hate to be one of those people who takes pictures of tragedies but I was one of those people who takes pictures of tragedies..
