English form of the Late Latin name Iacomus which was derived from Ιaκωbος (Iakobos), the New Testament Greek form of the Hebrew name Ya'aqov (see JACOB). This was the name of two apostles in the New Testament. The first was Saint James the Greater, the apostle John's brother, who was beheaded under Herod Agrippa in the Book of Acts. The second was James the Lesser, son of Alphaeus. Another James (known as James the Just) is also mentioned in the Bible as being the brother of Jesus.
Beheadings, brother of a influential fellow...

Recently affirmed my natural talent in merchanics... (engines) but actually can tinker with steam engines too, so, i'd love something mechanics related, I mean, if it's right with you...

Aww, just packing mine to get rid of it...

A time ago, I did build a Holographic drive. (using a Makrolon sample plus the lens head of a DVD burner)
It uses a Makrolon Waffle, gold backed plus a laser to burn data like on a disk, but with infinite* layers, now I got around 30TB of data and estimate a 80% is available. I also assembled the laser tray on stepper motors taken from a scanner, summed up with imaginative lens setup, I can burn 2^34 bytes per inch, on a 12x12" waffle with 1024 layers.
The downs: The capacity I got is Abysmal compared to other prototypes, It's SLOW on write cycles (slow as in Floppy drive slow) the read speeds are on par with a 52x CD-ROM. so slow compared with a hard disk. Also is HUGE, but it fits in a modified full PC Tower. Consumes a lot of current on write cycle (1200 w dedicated PSU and it croaks after 3 hours of writing non-stop)
As time passes the disk would lose capacity and data due to medium corruption (not at he moment)
The upside: 150 TB of storage on 2013... I can copy all internet and stop forking to my ISP

I dislike the flim flam brothers... Besides that episode being a John Henry ode (that was nice) those two are 'A' grade jerks...
I like Babs Seed, she pusher her way in, but as now she had been accepted.
Sunset Shimmer didn't fool me with her waterworks... (a bawling jerk is a jerk bawling...) hope to not see her in the series, she's the biggest Mary Sue ever...
I support "FlashLight"

Well, Religion, or how planes fly... Was my S1 favorite episode, and my personal choice to introduce new herdlings... And found it's morale to be "Don't try to make sense of Pinkie"

30TB? Where did that come from? Never seen one of those before, I only heard the current maximum is 1TB. Did you confuse TB for GB?
An industrious level rig for 30GB max? Now that's absurd! Now you can find 4TB drives (pricey) price for me wasn't an issue because I found a partly full box of sparkly new 3TB drives for free... (someone derped discarding that box) Really, that swag right now totals like 1.400 $ (The USB solution was the cheapest I found, no mobo, no OS, no virus)

From two week ago, fixed myself a 30 TB external hard disk... I used ten 3TB hard disks, a full tower case I had, a 600W PSU, 10 SATA-USB converters and a USB 3.0 Hub, at a switch flick it all powers on and I have quite the disk real estate... My first download? The whole Wikipedia so I can check offline.

Ghost Ship, the epitome of movie I love, explosions, wrapped on itself plot, treachery, ghosts, gore, and the cast kicking the bucket at the end...

I am...conflicted regarding Turnip.
In the show, it was annoying that he was depicted so completely over the top country. But it was horrifying that Rarity snubbed him so hard. That was the worst part of the episode.
These two pages make me more conflicted.
I dislike infatuation and "love at first sight". Bettering yourself is generally good, but in this case it was just for his crush, which set him up to be disappointed again. He brought flowers to his next meeting with her, which is weird since it wasn't a mutually set up date. And then Spike lied to him, and he took off without even talking to her. He tossed the flowers and Spike gave Turnip's gift to Rarity?!
And yet, there is amazing depth to this short section, it references at least two other pieces of cannon, and it is easy to relate to Turnip.
I am both intrigued and disappointed, but will probably have a different impression tomorrow.
That my dear little rat-thing, are grade A feels...

Remember the time BETA testers got paid for their work? This upspring in corporate greed would have only one logic outcome.. the 1983 crash again...

If fanon can evolve to canon, I want Rarity to wear something with Spike's fire rubi...

I remember a Jerry Lewis movie happening on that aircraft... Being Ford, and having a "steering wheel" how many pilots would derp and try to stick shift it? (Ground brakes are in a looong lever poking off the floor resembling a stick shift)

I use an SSD... no discs in there.
BIOS access is still based on disk emulation (price of using sata interfaces) SSD (Solid State Disk) should be capable of sprout infinite 'heads' and write/read a bunch of sectors/files at the same time, when this happen, would be sweet, and truly the future.

Bleh. I REALLY hope this isn't the case..While I spend a small fortune on my cable bill, it's not perfect..From time to time, it will go out....
I spend a real fortune on a subpar cable in a backwater country.... Better I'll keep my Genesis.
