As a kid I was the block's geek , in 1988 with only 5, instead of a Sinclair spectrum or a commodore I had an IBM 5150 (128 KB RAM, and 320KB floppy drive) plus cassette deck and TV out... On it I learnt BASIC, FORTRAN, PASCAL, and some 8080/88 assembler... was a decent machine back then, and I remember hacking XT/286 games to run on my 8 BIT CPU (ex. 'King's Valley 4' required a 286, but some dis-assembly re compling made miracles, but Still had to update to 256KB of RAM)

Heh, comrade you seem to have doubts of bronyism as a good thing on your own, subconsciously you want to free him of your 'ill' I believe quite a lot of people experienced it, I still got moments of "What's wrong with me and ponies?" I look my brushables, my plushie, my everything pony related... Is not that wrong, like it isn't to still enjoy videogames of youth, I still got a Genesis and a good deal of Sonic paraphernalia, even more than Pony stuff I have. Satisfy his pony need, if it sticks on him, the more we are the merrier, otherwise, he would keep his brony memories as a 'ugly' skeleton on his wardrobe. (for more funnies, picture him unboxing some ponies, you would ensure free life-long muscle help for moves)

Just wrapped my mind around it, the first appearance of Shining Armour reminded me of Planet Hoth in Empire strikes back (need to re watch it, but goggles and scarf/cape looked the same outfit used in the movie)

I didn't used to use paper plates often until I moved into my uncle and aunt's house. They have them stocked in the cupboard, along with regular plates. My family of seven in my old house didn't do that. House of three, now five? Yep.

Never heard of paper plates... I am guilty of using plastic ones, but not in a disposable way, those could be cleaned and reused (like sporks and plastic cutlery) Yep, the one with a $1000 knife on it's PC table uses plastic cutlery...
