I'm hoping a download comes out real soon for the song in today's episode! Would love to have it on my iPod!
EDIT: ^....That's incredibly disturbing.
-
I think it's funny, but the song in this episode oddly reminds me of a Madonna song.
I don't know why. Just something about the feel of it.
Great song, though!
-
What did I think?
LOVED IT
The music! The subtle humor! The genius writing and script.
And, of course, Pinkie's Party Cannon,
In general, wonderful rebound from last week's! Couldn't have asked for a better episode! Might be my favorite episode of Season 2 now!
-
Rarity derpface for the win, lol
....Uh oh, false solution. I LIKE this...
Twilight, you fail dancing forever, xD
Can I get a DA'WWWWWWW on that ending?
-
Heh, random Pinkie Pie balloon briefcase....
Hey, ballroom re-appearance! Call-backs are always nice!
...PARTY CANNON. That, sir, is awesome.
Rockin' party tune! Would love to get that on my iPod!
Oh jeez, Octavia. AND THE BRONIES GO WILD!
-
Over-dramatic Rarity at her finest, xD
And I can definitely see where this'll go with the Mane 6 now there...
Hopefully this'll usher back the theme of friendship in every episode. Seems like it from how this looks to be forming. This makes me happy, frankly.

A SONG?
A SONG?
PHOTO FINISH CAMEO?
Ahem, well. I gotta say this episode is REALLY shaping up well!
-
Second commercial break.
I gotta say, this is a VERY well-written episode so far.
Honestly, people shouldn't complain about little laughs in this episode. This episode really looks like it'll win over the Bronies with writing.
Can't wait for the rest!
-
"Written by Meghan McCarthy"
Yep, we're in good hands,
-
Looks good so far. Can't complain!
I'm just hoping the Bronies will like it, because from that post on EqD, the crew wasn't exactly grateful for that railing a lot of the fans did on "Mare Do-Well"...

Fairly Odd Parents used to be a pretty good show. It was always so crazy. It was having such a great run. Then they had kid. Did they pick a new voice actor for Cosmo? I saw an episode a few nights back an he sounded......different.
Now back to my real question. Dan vs who? What is this show about?
The show is simply called "Dan vs". It's a VERY odd show about this easily-aggrevated guy who goes on tirades about the stupidest things. It...can SOMETIMES be entertaining. Most of the time, however, it ends up being like a slightly-better written version of Johnny Test...

I prefer Twilight Sparkle. I find bookworm characters adorable in movies and cartoons, and Twilight is clearly no exception.
She'd be followed by Pinkie Pie, because her constant antics and love for parties oddly remind me of myself in a way. Pony on the brain, I suppose, xD
-
I haven't spent any money on ponies as of now...
However, once I'm able to get my own financing under control and am able to get my own online paying accounts, I'm going to go all-out. Inner-Brony is going to break through at some point...

Eh, this kind of stuff happens all the time. These "voting" contests run by television channels are never based on fan voting...
For example, Nicktoons Network ran a voting thing for a "Clash of the Nicktoons" thing a while back. The finals came down to Plankton from Spongebob and Aang from Avatar....and, DESPITE AVATAR'S HUGE FANBASE, Plankton won.
It's obvious this is rigged, and I wouldn't expect for BOTH Discord and Pinkie to win...but if it is rigged for Pinkie to win at least, I'll be content, I suppose...
-
Hmmm....
All of the sudden, Pinkie Pie has gone from 89% of the vote to 68%.....
Okay dokey loki, Hub....
-
I've recently managed to get my best bud to watch "Lesson Zero"....wasn't impressed...
I was able to convince him to watch a few more and give it a chance, so if he doesn't like it still, can't say I didn't try,
I'm quite sure there are no Bronies at my school, though. My references go unnoticed, and I'm quite sure no one even knows WHAT a Brony is...I suppose it's for the best, eh?
-
That image of Pinkie Pie absolutely DESTROYING the voting makes me laugh uncontrollably,
I'm sure The Hub was simply trying to make interesting voting results...unfortunately, they forgot the fandom would likely pile-drive any competition that FiM has...
But I am indeed a bit disappointed in their choice of putting Joker against Discord. I loved the Batman Animated Series....but would it have KILLED THEM to use an actual image of the Joker from that show, and NOT a fake copy from one episode?!
-
I live in a fairly suburban area in New Jersey, so it's definitely hard to find any Bronies. I've tried to convert my best friend, but he seems to be quite insistent on it...considering he watches up to the intro and then stops...
However, I've joined a few Brony groups on Facebook, so I suppose that might lead me to such Brony friends...and hey, I've got you fellas, too.
I was thinking about going to BroNYCon once I move out, because there's NO WAY I'm asking my parents to go to a con related to FiM...After all, they don't even know I'm a Brony.

I've got to agree with Brian.
This had to be the WORST episode yet. As soon as I saw Rainbow Dash...breakdancing...I knew something was up. The whole episode feels real disjointed. I did like the idea of Scootaloo heading a Rainbow Dash fan club. That was fine. Then, once the cocky Rainbow Dash showed up, I was a tad confused. After all, didn't last episode teach her ANYTHING? Of course, I can understand the episodes being aired out of order, but this episode pronounced her cockiness MUCH too far. It became so annoying, and so repetitive, that it became goofy. Admittingly, the Mare Do-Well was fun. I pretty much knew it was a group effort, but the constant Batman references made it fun. Extra credit to the production crew for putting in Elfman-like music during the chase scene near the end. I also enjoyed Granny Smith *****-slapping Rainbow Dash. Justified, but funny as hell. Me likee.
However, every subtle detail that we love about FiM was void in this. There was no development, no deep anything, and no allusions besides the obvious Batman ones, which felt like they were planted in just for kicks. Even worse, I couldn't enjoy it. The episode just DRAGGED. I'll admit, I DID laugh at a few things. Dash "saving" the grass was funny, I admit.
I was also EXTREMELY disappointed that Scootaloo was just ditch Rainbow Dash. What have we established about her? What does she CONSTANTLY want in 'Cutie Mark Chronicles'? So, the big, loyal fangirl of Rainbow Dash ditches her in only less than A DAY? I had a bad feeling about seeing a new writer writing this episode, and boy, I feel my worries were true. I can understand she needs to test the waters, but HOW CAN YOU SCREW UP SCOOTALOO?
Frankly, this episode was just too dumbed-down for me. Everything was completely uncharacteristic of the show. I understand we won't get episodes like 'Suited for Success' every week, but I expect SOME quality. After all, even the supposed "worst episode" of Owl's Well that Ends Well was somewhat enjoyable for me. I don't have high standards, considering I realize the target audience. However, this was an absolutely sub-par way to follow up "May the Best Pet Win".
Probably my least favorite episode of the series. By no means will I lose faith, because I know we'll get more great episodes this season, but...please...PLEASE do not do another Rainbow Dash episode. Two mouthfuls of her cocky attitude was just hard to stomach...

...Well, I can see the idea is a bit messed up here.
I completely understand. After all, I shouldn't expect everyone to have seen Rio, xD
Chapter 2 is done, and already on FF.net, but...not sure if there's really any interest. I can understand why, though, so....anyone care to see a second chapter?

SO SORRY if this is considered an unneeded bump...just wanted to get the full truth off me...
Truth is...yes, I hide my Brony-ness. Not from online friends, but from real life. My parents are completely oblivious (Though my mom walked in on me while watching 'May the Best Pet Win', but she didn't pay any mind to my TV...), I BELIEVE everyone at school is oblivious, and the only people besides my online friends that know are my best friend (Who constantly makes fun of me for it... ) and my 12 year old cousin, who surprisingly took it well after I explained Lauren Faust created it and how many familiar voice actors are on the show (He's a HUGE Craig McCracken fan).
However, recently I've posted serious hints on Facebook about it...no one is catching the hint though, except I heard kids behind my back calling me...well, a "fag", so obviously I'm somewhat nervous to learn the story behind that...
I just recently uploaded FiM songs onto iTunes, and with how frequently my mom goes on, I'm afraid it won't be long before she discovers it...then I'll have to face it...
I can't bear to tell my classmates, because insults will be hurled. Constantly. I'm sure that my classmates and "friends" will not understand at all...Frankly, the only hint of me revealing my Broniness is the fact I'm currently writing a free-lance essay about Bronies and FiM to my English teacher. No grade, not required. I simply told her I was going to write an uncounted essay and give it to her. Hopefully letting it out will relieve the stress...because frankly, if people don't 100% understand me for loving that movie "Rio"....I'm afraid to see what happens when I tell them I like FiM...

Yes. I'm a firm believer that even characters that are walking gags still can have dialogue.
Yes. As soon as Applejack gets an episode this season, I have an odd feeling she'll sing. After all, Dash already sang...
No. While I do love Luna being in more episodes and would ABSOLUTELY support it, Luna Eclipsed felt like the fans' treat, seeing as everyone wanted a Luna episode. I guarantee we won't see her again for a while..

Well, I'm somewhere along the lines of a mix of Pinkie Pie, Twilight Sparkle and Scootaloo, oddly enough.
I'm always joking and energetic, constantly over-explain, lecture and read, and I tend to act completely immature when I want to and am loud as hell, xD
I also know a girl who is literally EXACTLY like Fluttershy. No joke, she speaks barely above a whisper, is timid and shy, and seems to be interested in animals most of the time. It practically SCREAMS Fluttershy, xD

I was watching American Dad just an hour ago, and in one scene as a kid, Steve is riding in a wooden cart in a derby race that oddly is a CYAN-COLORED PONY WITH WINGS AND THE SEAT IS RAINBOW-COLORED....
I swear, that's absolutely a reference. After all, Seth McFarlane would HAVE to be aware of Bronies by now...

I SO want to download this, but the fact my mom uses my laptop occasionally is scaring me from the idea of her seeing them and asking what they are...
...So, I guess I'll have to pass...
