Yeah. I noticed Dr. Hooves' scene too. I gotta wonder if that's all he does? Just go around flipping hourglasses? I bet there's more to it than that...
Always thought an hourglass was a weird cutie mark...
Still, good to see him do something in an episode.
Not to mention they put a TIE on him!
Oh i love those animators

this probably belongs in Musical Showcase
-
I'd love to see an episode with the Pie family
-
Yeah. Seems even less likely that they're related now that they've characterized Derpy in such a way. That pony's a danger to herself and others. No way a foal would be allowed to be raised by her.
despite the possibility of her lacking serious parental skills, i don't think she shouldn't be allowed to at least help raise her own children.
-
actually, i think they put Dinky in the new episode along with a Mare and a Stallion to purposefully show that she is not Derpy's.
She's in 3 different shots through the episode, all with the same ponies

Those money-hungry corporate *******s also sign the paychecks of the people who work tirelessly to bring us new episodes. They also have kept their property on a long leash as far as fan-driven content is concerned. You'll notice they only brought out the copyright hammer on the whole episodes around the time of the iTunes season release. They allow the staff of the show to do interviews and create stuff for the brony crowd, they've acknowledged us instead of pretended we're weird and don't exist, like some huge companies might. They've allowed other outlets (WeLoveFine, HotTopic, and others) to do some test merchandizing on us to give us more than just toys to appreciate the series with.
They are a business created to make money. They will do whatever they can to meet that end, as the people who run the company have families to feed and bills to pay as well. It was them that asked Faust to revive the franchise. Without that "greed," we'd still be on some weird reinteration of G3, and the cartoon would be nothing more than the two generations before it. I wouldn't be so sharp to put down the company that has allowed FiM to be what it is today on a basis of making money.
i concede, and apologize

Also, MLP is a long term property of Hasbro. I assumed ponies were dead after they finished making any toys in the early ninties, but they came back three times after that. It might not be FiM, but if you're in for the long haul, there'll be ponies again someday even if this show ends.
This is a very good point, but raises new concern in me.
So FiM is arguably the most successful generation of MLP. If Hasbro is going to keep ponies going after the "magic" of it all is gone... well i worry they're just gonna run it into the ground trying to squeeze every penny out of it, and ruining it for the people who are still fans.
UGH money-hungry corporate *******s.

So one of the Bronies in my school actually approached me to talk today.
It got kinda awkward, like i thought it would.
But hay! I make everything awkward.
-
I love running into bronies. They'll usually get a random hoof or a hug, then much discussion about pony.
You should totally approach that group, OP -- I'd bet you my left wing they would like to see another brony!
Oh they know i exist. I once complimented this kid's Derpy Hooves shirt. I'm just terribly socially awkward.
-
There's a group of people in my school who are bronies. I've seen them wear some sick pony tees, and even this morning, i saw one dude using that pony creator on his laptop.
Now, i'm too shy to try and talk to them, but here's my question to you:
What do you do when you meet another brony?
-
I'm glad I didn't have to make this thread. I've been calling my House rep, spamming her facebook, signing some petitions, blah blah blah. This is nuts, bronies.
I should do this

Thought i'd raise some awareness of this bill
from Wikipedia:
The Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA), also known as House Bill 3261 or H.R. 3261, is a bill that was introduced in the United States House of Representatives on October 26, 2011, by House Judiciary Committee Chair Representative Lamar S. Smith (R-TX) and a bipartisan group of 12 initial co-sponsors. The bill, if made law, would expand the ability of U.S. law enforcement and copyright holders to fight online trafficking in copyrighted intellectual property and counterfeit goods.[2] Presented to the House Judiciary Committee, it builds on the similar PRO-IP Act of 2008 and the corresponding Senate bill, the PROTECT IP Act.
Here's a video from TotalHalibut explaining why you should NOT support this bill
EDIT:
apparently, Dusty has already started a topic on this. Mods, do what you will.

Alright i decided another detail for my request (unless you've started) that instead of a yellow mane, i'd like a yellow ... pelt, if you will. A pastel yellow, pretty much like fluttershy's.
Again, take your time, i'm in no hurry
And have fun too! that's the whole point of this right?
Thanks again!

I don't see why you had to pull that out. I was responding to the first post. Also, this is a PG-13 environment, most ponies put pictures with "that word" in spoiler tags.

Derpy's Dilemma
in Friendship is Magic Series
Posted
i have to stop and wonder why people are becoming upset at our Derpy when other similar characters such as Ed (Ed, Edd, and Eddy), Patrick (Spongebob), Billy (Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy), and Peter Griffin (Family Guy) have gone by without any real fuss from the public.
Do you think they're just discriminating agaist Bronies?
I know they say that it's her voice, but come on. You're telling me that those characters don't have similar voices and mannerisms?
