I feel I need to tell a story....

I was in the U.S. Air Force for over 10 years and during that time I served under a female captain who was very openly living an alternate lifestyle. She lived with another female captain and they had been seen being intimate in public together. All of us serving under her knew it and could care less.

She was the best officer I ever had the privilege to work under. I was a crew chief on the F-15E Strike Eagle and if our crews were instructed to stay and work long hours she would refuse to go home and would come out to wherever we were - in any weather and help in any small way she could.

We would have followed that woman over a cliff into lava if she wanted us to. She was promoted and only then did she leave us and it was a very fond farewell. I do not live an alternate lifestyle but she showed all of us a fine example of what it means to do so and not let it impact your professional life in a negative manner. If anything - she was very happy.

Whether it's 2 guys is of no concern to me. I think we tend to feel female pairings are natural due to the fact - well - imo - women are beautiful creations of nature! - but if a guy feels another guy is that way - more power to them. It's not how I feel but why should I impose my beliefs on another person?

oh, and she also killed the Daleks while heading back home...

I think we're focused on the wrong aspect of this community. Instead of fearing the inevitable - we should embrace it! To every thing - There is a time. When that time is up - it's just up. Do you wake up every morning and worry the rest of the day about the fact there's going to be a sunset? Do you spend the entire day wondering about how the sunset will look and how you will handle it?

No. You have a good day and enjoy the sunset when it happens. You go about each day without much thought about how the day will end - Enjoy this moment - and this time while you have it. We all know it's a fad - but wow - it's been a heck of a ride thus far and I don't think we've reached our peak just yet!

Hey guys! I'm having a bit of a problem with my brony-ness :S

I only found Mlp Fim about a week ago and it has been my secret for that time. Somehow one of my irl friends has found out and none of my friends will be very accepting about me being a brony because of our ages. I'm not sure what I should do. I don't want to keep my bronyism a secret but if I tell them I'm afraid of the consequences.
