    First of all what is shipping? I am old. A ship is something you get on to cross a body of water. Preferably on a cruise. I think love and tolerance is always paramount in this lifetime. To quote Madarao from Kekkaishi "What's wrong with a heart in love? "

    I think an obvious pairing is Fluttershy and Dash - their personalities fit perfectly imo. What's interesting is that in life it would probably be Fluttershy who would initiate anything romantic between them. And I don't know who the voice actor for Fluttershy is but my god she has a smexy voice!!!!

    Rarity - you know who I could see her falling for? Big Mac. After 'Best Night Ever' I think she's learned her lesson on preppy pretty boys.

    I actually would like to see a completely Derpy focused episode where one of the mane 6 befriend her and get to know her more. Wouldn't it be fitting if the plot were about Derpy's crush on a brony?

    I personally would love to see Soran, Derpy and Pinkie battle it out over which is tastier - Pie, Muffins or Cupcakes! (cupcakes of course!)

    Astronomers first discovered the Cosmic Horseshoe in 2007 using data from the Sloan Digital Sky Survey. But this Hubble image, taken with the Wide Field Camera 3, offers a much more detailed view of this fascinating object.

    This picture was created from images taken in visible and infrared light on Hubble’s Wide Field Camera 3. The field of view is approximately 2.6 arcminutes wide.

    There's hopefully something for everypony around here! If you're looking to meet new Bronies, a good place to do that is the Chat Room & live roleplay. The Creativity section is the place for artists, musicians, and writers! Oh, and what kind of forum would this be without the MLP Discussion area, hmm?

    If you're looking to Roleplay, check the Canterlot RP Rules and the Applicaton Form. Unless you're going for the FiM Free-For-All section, then you don't need either of those things! :D But if you're going for Equestria Crossovers RP, you just need the Application Form, then you can make your crazy cool pony! The Equestria Mane RP, which is a really cool Roleplay area, requires you to read both the Canterlot RP Rules and the Applicaton Form.

    Oh I've been seeing your posts all over the site - I have been seeing a lot of your signature block - when I saw you had posted here I assumed I was in trouble. :sad:

    But I did actually read the rules - My Pinkie-like spontaneous personality to leap in and become active has gotten me into trouble one time too many! :P

    If you (or anyone) sees me un-intentionally violating a board guideline please don't hesitate to point it out to me - I will correct it immediately! :halo:

    I just think it shows a good relationship between the animators and the fans... although i think they miiiiight be milking it now... she's been in almost every episode of season 2, just kinda chilling in the background... not that this is bad, i just think it's become a 'where's waldo' for MLP now... i just wish they would give her a speaking role... or at least another role like in the Luna episode where she actually contributed to the humor.

    That's exactly it - Derpy shows that this series is responsive to it's fanbase - much more so than most shows I know of - Take Adventure Time for example - another really amazing show - and it's just as loved if not more - but the most cartoon network does is put out an online contest for a new year's eve fan-made short - Very Nice - but it's not on the level of fan favorite Derpy getting several prominent background roles.

    Don't fault me for this but being a Brony reminds me a lot of the fact I'm also a Trekkie. I think we delight in obsessing over the details of the show (you guys even have role playing built into this site!) but there aren't many things that reach the level of interaction that Bronies have reached.

    Derpy and the fan interaction she represents are worthy of recognition across fandom! Despite being earth ponies you have flown up to a new height on gossamer wings of dew! (wait....how'd that end up again for Rarity?)

    *lifts glass* here's a toast to the peak of the mountain that Derpy and Bronies have made it to - from an old Trekkie - I SALUTE!!!

    I think Derpy will possibly be referred to by both names even on the show. I bet Ditzy Do and Derpy will be used as nicknames for Derpy. Probably in a way that we can choose to call her whichever name we feel like. I am partial to Derpy Hooves myself.

    In my area it's a badge of honor to be considered a brony (central NC). I've found it's much easier to communicate with teenagers (I'm old as dirt - wait - older - 43 - yes older) when I mention the show. I organize card tournaments in my spare time and I've found most of the teens who play cards love the show.

    If I'm at work and I mention it - thankfully I have 2 daughters so people assume it's for them. (insert giant 'I lied' face here lol) :D

    I had always seen the memes and liked them a lot. I didn't know if they were from a show or just a children's toy line. When I finally found out that it was from a show that I can actually record on my DVR I started recording the episodes and was knocked over by the amazing quality of the writing.

    I haven't enjoyed a show this much since I was a kid watching Star Trek.
