  1. Everypony on this forum is really friendly! I only joined a couple of days ago and I am having a few problems with url friends and my brony-ness, everypony has been rearly supportive and given me loads of help. If you still decide to stay in one sub-forum then I will assure you that you will have loads of fun.

    Also, welcome to canterlot!!

  2. I'd rather not have a new episode focused on only one of the main characters, though.

Here's an idea I came up with while working on a PMV.

Imagine an episode, where Scootaloo is out playing with Applebloom and Sweetie Belle. Their usual, you know. When Scootaloo notices Rainbow Dash attempting a new trick, and she is so inspired, she wants to be as "cool" as Rainbow Dash, so she decides to fulfill here abilities of flying. Having the already "Big sister" feel, Scootaloo is determined to impress her. So, Rainbow Dash agrees to help her, with her usual pride, and somewhat "gloat"like attitude. As the day goes on ,Scootaloo is seemingly worthless to herself, as she can't even master basic hovering. Rainbow Dash attempts to build some self-esteem in her, and guides her along the way. Eventually, Scootaloo gets the hang of it, and begins hovering naturally. Over excited, she decides to show Applebloom and Sweetie Belle. When Scootaloo arrives at their clubhouse ,she notices something is wrong. Applebloom and Sweetie Belle aren't there. Looking for them, she hears a loud scream in the distance. It sounded like it came from the Everfree forest. Rainbow Dash had decided not to go with her earlier ,so Scootaloo is all by herself.

She heads in to the forest, and makes it to the source of the sound. A massive waterfall, and both Sweetie and Applebloom can be seen at the top, hanging off of a branch sticking out of the waterfall.

Without hesitation, Scootaloo runs, jumps, and flys up to both of them. As she practiced before, she is good at hovering now, so that's exactly what she does. She hovers, and attempts to grab Sweetie. Sweetie finally trusts Scootaloo, after moments of the two talking to each other. SO Sweetie lets go. Scootaloo flies down, and just a few yards before the bottom, she catches her, and flies her over to the ground. Shocked by what just happened, Scootaloo can't seem to do what she did before. Her wings seemed useless at this point. Applebloom then screams "Help me!! Ah'm falling!' Sweetie belle jumps forward, almost jumping in to the river, and her horn starts to glow. Her eyes begin glowing a bright white, and her horn follows. Applebloom is then encased in light, and carried softly over to the ground where they are. It is only then, that both Scootaloo, and Sweetie's cutie marks appear. And Applebloom's follows in the next episode. Eainbow Dash was actually watching from up above the waterfall, and she could have saved them at any time ,but she let Scootaloo try her best.

    Opinions?

I think it's about time for a fanfic.

    The clown approves :D

  3. 9th graders are the kids in the first year of highschool. or 15/14 years old..

    England confuses me XD

Okay then, this means that, they would be in year 10 here in England. I can agree with you when you say you don't hang out with any because at that age many are immature and don't understand peoples hobbies outside of the male stereotype, because I am also in toss year there isn't anything I can do about it but I have been lucky enough to gain some form if maturity quicker than others of my age :D

In short, I see no problem in people having hobbies that may seem strange to some and I don't understand why people can't just accept people for who they are.

  4. Likewise.

Why can't we just like or enjoy something without being judged?

This is why i dont hang out with any Freshmen...none of them are mature enough to even understand the concept of individuality.

I don't know, if its our choice what we watch then why do we have to be judged by others about it??

Also what are freshmen? :P It isn't a term we use in England

  5. I've really gotta agree.

Children our age just cannot see past the idealogy that is "popularity" and branch off into something else. Everyone thinks the same way, and if they don't, they are considered an outcast and will be abandonded by all their "freinds".

Especially for a male pony such as myself. I play on the football team, and in most cases am a "dude", but why does that mean i cannot appreciate and enjoy a really good show? Why can i not be different without being outcast and considered a freak of nature?

    rant over.

    Love everypony here :)

I'm now happy knowing that there are plenty others out there either going through the same sort of thing or knows what I and many others feel.

  6. Some people in this world could do with a dose of maturity hormone, don't you think?

Definitely! Being a brony at this time in my life is really hard, but it really shouldn't be! :/ some people just need to accept other peoples thoughts and feelings. I am really glad I've now found this forum where I can talk to such a wide variety of bronies.

Sorry if I'm ranting a little, I need to get all this off my chest :(

  7. And it really is a shame, Queen is one of the best bands ever. But Freddie Mercury probably rolled over in his grave because of the comparison to MLP.

Oh, I didnt see the reference to queen and if you look closely at my post just now I used she XD I thought you were talking about the queen of england :P :P

  8. I love how everybody notices the clown joke, and one person noticed the one refference to Queen.

And nobody noticed the constant reffering to Goldeneye. :P

Clowns are awesome! Even if I am British I'd have to say that I'm more loved around the world than she is ;-)

  9. Oh - Thank you! (why the heck is it called 'shipping'?) :P

In that case - I think it is fine. My favorite quote on love comes from Madarao from Kekkaishi:

Love and Tolerate. Tolerance. It may not be what you live or what YOU believe in but you should not impose your beliefs on others.

I feel I need to tell a story....

I was in the U.S. Air Force for over 10 years and during that time I served under a female captain who was very openly living an alternate lifestyle. She lived with another female captain and they had been seen being intimate in public together. All of us serving under her knew it and could care less.

She was the best officer I ever had the privilege to work under. I was a crew chief on the F-15E Strike Eagle and if our crews were instructed to stay and work long hours she would refuse to go home and would come out to wherever we were - in any weather and help in any small way she could.

We would have followed that woman over a cliff into lava if she wanted us to. She was promoted and only then did she leave us and it was a very fond farewell. I do not live an alternate lifestyle but she showed all of us a fine example of what it means to do so and not let it impact your professional life in a negative manner. If anything - she was very happy.

Whether it's 2 guys is of no concern to me. I think we tend to feel female pairings are natural due to the fact - well - imo - women are beautiful creations of nature! - but if a guy feels another guy is that way - more power to them. It's not how I feel but why should I impose my beliefs on another person?

    So ship? away bronies!!!

Thats an amazing story. Also, even though I am British I appreciate the work you did in the Air Force. :)

  10. Yes the fanbase is enjoyable, but I caught up to the most recent episode before I purposefully sought out the community. I plan to follow the series to the end with or without the other fans.

The exception is if the series loses its appeal of course, but according to my iTunes ratings, season 2 is on track to outperform season 1 in my ratings. It is actually a complicated formula, because one great episode and two bad ones is preferable to three average ones.

I did exactly the same thing, I watched every episode before searched for forms, fan art etc. I too will watch the show to the end and until I found out that the s2 production team was different I hadn't noticed a difference :P on the other hand, now that I have found this forum in particular and fan arts I have really come to love the fan following especially the friendlyness of this forum. This is very good for me because when the show ends, I hope not some time in the future. The fan following will still be here :D

This took me ages to write on my phone :/

Thank you for reading my opinion on the subject
