  1. Welcome to Canterlot, he who looks like his avatar pony has an Unreal logo for a cutie mark! :P

Actually, my cutie mark and my name are the same.

    Normal Equestrian pony naming style.

I have to say, I like your name because it reminds me of a chiptunes I frequent in my area.

Just wanted to pop in and say that.

I have also just registered... so I don't feel right welcoming you, but lets get along shall we?

Of course, so welcome to you, too!

  2. About myself.: Well, I'm one of the older bronies around and one of the few who found their way here from Germaneigh (or was it Germaney?). I'm part of a few more fandoms, but currently, this is the one I'm the most active in. Other than a brony, I'm a hobby musician who loves to play considerable amounts of electronic instruments.

A couple of things about me as a brony: I have a major knack for background ponies. One in particular as you can see in my sig. However, I do not accept Hasbro's toy department (i.e. blind bags) as a reliable source for background pony names. So it's still Lyra and Carrot Top to me, and it will be unless said otherwise in the show itself. The same would require me to accept the name Derpy Hooves; as long as this doesn't happen, she shall remain Ditzy Doo.

How did you hear about Canterlot.com?: See below.

How did you became a fan of FiM?: See below.

My one favourite main cast pony?: Miss Rarity

(Since I absolutely had to pick one mane cast member, I chose Rarity. She looks good, she's classy, she's a unicorn, and her emotional outbreaks are both spectacular and overdone, but never really disturbing.)

Okay, so how did I become a brony? Well, it happened in spring 2011, long before the show made it to German TV. On one of the forums I frequent, more and more people changed their avatars to ponies, put ponies in their sigs and started to talk about ponies. I actually sort of dealt with this mass phenomenon without even knowing much about the show, let alone having watched it, with some creative output I simply based on the ongoing spreading of ponies.

Around June I decided to actually try the show. I went where every good German brony-to-be went to watch MLP:FiM, YouTube. I started with the pilot and continued chronologically. Yes, after having watched the pilot, I was intrigued enough to download another three episodes. Five days later, I had them all, in SD only, but still. I was hooked. It was the same month that I joined the first brony forum, not without creating an all-new online identity for pony-related purposes only.

What took me here? Well, to be honest, I've lurked here a few times over the last few months. I can't remember what exactly had me find this place, it must have been some Google search.
