I'm not all that into background characters, aside from that window cleaner who falls down near Rarity in Canterlot and the Wonderbolt who loves pie(I do too. especially Apple Pie). They're awesome. It is fun to pick out Derpy Hooves though.

Roleplay Type: World of Equestria Name: Firebolt Sex: Male Age: Stallion Species: Pegasus Eye Color:Blazing Red Coat Color: Jet Black Mane/Tail/Markings Color & Style: black and red sections, with both mane and tail longer with jagged edges. Physique: Firebolt is tall and powerful, raised rough and tumble on the road with good solid food and good solid exercise. His coat is not ill kept, but does show signs of the road, with mild scarring here and there. His hooves are always scuffed and beaten from hard use. Cutie Mark: Red Explosion: He received it one day while sparring with his ten younger brothers, unleashing a concussive explosion that knocked them all out of the sky. Origin/Residence: Technically, he was born in the Everfree forest, but his family is nomadic, and as a result, he has been to most of Equestria. By and large, though, his home is wherever Nature runs loose without magical interference. Currently, he roams around Equestria proper, working when work is to be found, and generally living very freely. Occupation: Day Laborer for Hire/Bodyguard(although really, the second is mostly volunteer work) Motivation: Firebolt lives for challenges, the open road, and a simple way of life. As he was raised among ponies bound tight by necessity, he considers family and friends above all else in importance, although honour and courage are close seconds. Anything that tests his mettle and makes him work is of great value. However, his softer side shines through in his appreciation of beauty in nature, and he occasionally waxes lyrical or poetical over something he sees as worth it. Likes: hearty meals, good traveling company, competition, Nature, hard work, simple art, honor and valor Dislikes: unwarranted cruelty, pride, cowardice, the easy life, pointless sophistication, and strangely, he does not like cupcakes and muffins. Character Summary: History: Born on the road in a Clan of simplistic pegasi nomads, Firebolt lived a life without walls, the only shelter being tents the Clan carried with them. They lived without the comforts most Equestrians take for granted, and chose to do so gladly. Anywhere others only passed through was their happy home. As Firebolt matured, he became more and more interested in the extent of his natural abilities, and began seeking out combat and adventure to help him test the limits of his power. This road led him to break from his Clan and explore the world on his own, finding new opponents or difficulties with each new horizon. Parents: Firebolt was born the eldest son of Chillwind and Rainsong , along with ten brothers(Stallions: Redwing, Hawkeyes, Colts: Clouddrum, Thunderpeak and Thunderhead(twins), Shadowmane, Foals: Clefthoof, Falconheart, Backdraft, Zephyr)and a sister (Rainsquall, the youngest). His father is a bold and demanding figure, whose mere presence commands respect and admiration, while his mother does the same, but with quiet and gentle nobility. While outwardly his temperment is close to his father's, if a bit more exaggerated by his youth, his heart and soul are also touched by the gentle poesy his mother brought him up with. She was not originally a nomad, and once lived among the finer things in Canterlot, a pegasi of Noble Blood. This appreciation of beauty has flowed through her manner to her eldest, and given a gentleness to him that otherwise would not be there. His brothers are all eager to get into a scrap, and tend to function as one chaotic, energetic, forty-hooved, twenty winged, ten headed pegasus, although each has their own quirk here and there. His sister takes after her mother, but due to her father's influence, has less reserve and occasionally vents a furious and intense side. All of them love one another very much, and though they are rare, family reuinions are tender and joyful. Cutie Mark: To the surprise of many who meet him, Firebolt's mark is self-explanatory, and has little to do with an explosive temperament. Like many of the growing foals in his traveling band, he enjoyed rough aerial dogfights that honed his body and mind through intense physical combat. He was more than competent at this, and was considered one of the gifted fighters in that generation of colts. He did well guarding his roving family from wayward predators which stalked the untamed portions of Equestria, becoming more adept in the art of war as time went on. As he grew, he began to notice that he could "feel the winds" a bit better than his brothers and sisters, a talent that only increased with his years. For pegasi, this skill is necessary for flight, as their innate, and poorly understood, magic allows them to walk on clouds and fly despite their physique. They wield it instinctively as they go, and for some, like Rainbow Dash and the Wonderbolts, it produces unique effects during flight. In Firebolt's case, he can actually "feel" and "move" the air around him to generate enough friction to unleash an explosive shockwave of superheated air outward from the area surrounding himself. There is a sphere of red light formed around him, most likely his innate magic in action superheating the air, before the explosion occurs. As he has been practicing this technique for some time, he has learned to trigger it at very inoppurtune moments for his foes when doing bodyguard or protection work. Flaws: Due to his nomadic lifetsyle, it is difficult for Firebolt to enjoy one place for too long, and though he makes fast and strong friendships, he often seems distant due to his tendency to pack up and leave on a whim. Some do not understand that he carries his home and his friends with him as he travels, and that some day, he will return and nothing will have changed for him. He also occasionally gets into trouble by being too ready to fight or too ready to tackle a seemingly insurmountable problem. Recommended Listening: His World-Crush 40, Seven Rings in Hand-Crush 40

Rarity is currently being juggled along with Applejack and Rainbow Dash as my third favorite character. Spike, Luna, and Big Mac are duking it out for second. So naturally, I would find her fabulous.
