  1. But English isn't the only language that uses them.

    I'm like 90% sure that German uses ',' when talking about decimal points.

    (ex: $2.00 becomes $2,00)

    What Nexus is saying is that even though they're used, the rules for the usage are different.

  2. Okay, so, for Christmas, I got a bunch of my friends gifts for TF2. However, I later learned that one of my friends already had the item I wanted to give him. So now I'm stuck with a gift-wrapped item in my inventory, and I'm giving it away to you fine people. The first person to guess what's in it, gets the gift.

    As a hint: Listen to

    IT'S A SONG

    SONG = MUSIC

    MUSIC = HEADPHONES

    HEADPHONES = BUDS

    COME TO PAPA

  3. Beacons are like infinite potions. So long as you're within a certain number of blocks, you'll catch the effects. The larger the pyramid you've got them on is, the wider the area of affect.

    If you want more villagers, add more doors to the village. Doors are the key to villager breeding.

    Of course, you need a minimum of 9 diamond blocks plus the beacon itself to have it work.

    It's definitely an endgame item.

  4. Last night, we started to make characters, passing out stats and figuring out what people wanted to play. I also talked abit about the area that the campaign is going to be mostly taking place in.

    If you missed the meeting and are still interested, please put a message here, PM me, or send me a message on Skype. We'll try to work something out. Thanks.

    Sorry about not being able to be there. I had to watch my cousin because his parents were going on some date thing. :I

    Is it too late to attempt to set something up?

  5. Alright: I would like to get together a "meeting" for Friday sometime after 9 PM EST. If you're interested, please get me your Skype name in some way, shape or form and I'll start a group call/chat around that time. It's at this point when we'll discuss details. Thank you very much.

    Alright, may be a bit late for this considering it's like 3 and a half hours beforehand, but my skype is n3tspl1t

  6. I think Twilight just does a poor job of studying history; why else did it take her until the eve of the Summer Sun Celebration to learn all about the Nightmare Moon legend? Additionally, it might have been extremely hard for historians to distinguish reality from myth, given the nature of the world of Equestria. In short, I don't blame Celestia for how history always seems presented as if it was being made up as the writers went along. :razz:

    That's the thing, it was considered a legend.

    Do you see the great scientific minds of our time (at least, the credible ones) learning about, say, Bigfoot?

    Until nightmare moon actually returned, it was a fairy tale. A story you would scare your kids into eating their veggies with, not scientific fact or a prophecy.

  7. CobaltFlare: Right now I don't have any specific day in mind. I was mostly expecting it to be a "do it when we can" kinda thing. Weekends would likely be the best time for people.

    Honestly, for the good of your setup, have a specific day.

    I was in a D&D group that just went when everyone was here, and we never got any sessions in. The ones we did were all rushed.

    Whereas, for the FoE group, we have one every Saturday at 10 and pretty much everyone makes it every time.
