  1. You can simply dump water onto it with buckets. I don't remember if designating flat ground as a pond works, but you can always construct some quick walkways above the farm and designate the empty space above. For this to work you need to designate (with "i") zones: one on/above the farm, as a pit/pond, and another over a body of water, as a watersource. Once that is done, any dwarf with hauling labor and some free time will start making rounds with a bucket (you should start with at least one, and a carpenter can make one from wood rather easy). The benefit to this is that buckets don't cause much of an overspill, and you can quickly turn the process on or off by activating or deactivating the pond zone, without deleting it.

    Ah, cool. I'll try that.

  2. Alright. A friend on here recently got me playing this game, and OH MY GOD. This is the most complicated and frustrating game I have ever played. Heck, the game's motto or whatever is "Losing is Fun!"

I wanted to know if anyone else has played this thing, wants to get into it, can somehow help me from starving in the 1st year because apparently "SEEDS TASTE BETTR THAN PLUMP HELMET LOLOLOL", etc.

I never got around to getting rid of it before that pic.

You are all so messy... except Tenkan who doesn't appear to have any personal possessions.

You should see my console battlestation, with the 2 years worth of PC world scattered about. My tesk is tidy compared to the rest of my room. :P

  5. Sorry for taking a long time to reply, but anyways I'm currently studying Java, and that's about it.

And the game I'm looking to make is the ones like the games that the company "Choice of Games" make.

TBH, Java is a terribad language to start out on. (I'm assuming this is your 1st language)

I'd recommend C++ or something, but if you're set on java, you could probably do it.

  6. I usually roll with a energy weapon sniper.

Tagged skills are Energy Weapons, Sneak, and Medicine.

Take the Four Eyes perk because most eyeglasses have other benefits, like Dr. Mobius's glasses in OWB.

And I also take the Small Frame perk. enemies can't cripple your limbs if they can't see you lining up a headshot.

  7. I have brought a message from Angie Cakes:

Everyone who plans on buying AC should add me. I'll even draw you a picture if you end up playing with me D:

Can't keep Angie out of an Animal Crossing discussion o)3)

Angie needs a messenger now? :P

And of course I plan on buying it. Tell her I am, please.

  8. Oh, Quick-Fix got changed? Good. :u.

Coming from a person who mains medic, the way you play a Quick-Fix is; heal a scout up to the front lines and then keep everyone's health up. You shouldn't be healing someone for more than 5 seconds, more if they're under fire. Sure, you can't rush an engie nest, but if you keep your Heavies and Demos topped up, you can tear away at it. A slower, stronger approach as opposed to the usual "POCKET HOOVIE, RUSH POINT".

I play Kritz, myself. It's a nice middle man if you hate pocketing but need to quickly tear through a group.

  9. So, I recently managed to make enough money mowing lawns to finally pick up a 3DS (Purple, of course).

The only problem is, nobody else I know has one. Either they just haven't gotten it yet, or don't game handheld anymore. So I figure, why not get your friend codes! :D

    Mine is:

I'd really appreciate it if you guys would post yours. c:

As much as I love this thing, it's sort of boring without anyone else.

(After all, I've only beaten OOT on my 64, like, a gazillion times.)
