  1. Whisperpaw cleaned his house up. The love of his life was coming to stay at his house for the weekend. He stayed in her humble home last weekend. It had been decided since then that they would visit each other's homes on an alternating rota between weekends. It seemed like the perfect plan. If only he didn't leave the house work until the last minute.

His owl friend, Epistola had been gone for a few days. Whisperpaw had assumed that he had gone back into the wild. The stallion was glad of that as it meant he didn't have as much cleaning to do. But, he was starting to miss the bird. The black stallion had raised that owl ever since it was a defenceless little hatchling. He had tried to set him free when he was old enough to take care of his self. But the owl refused to leave him on several occasions. The unicorn ended up training him to deliver letters to his aunt. He didn't want the bird to disappear without hooting goodbye. But, he was also glad for his feathered friend.

Despite feeling slightly downhearted by missing a wild animal, Whisperpaw remained cheerful because he was going to get to see Seaspray again. Oh how he missed looking into those beautiful eyes. He missed hearing her gentle voice. The stallion even missed that refreshing aroma that seemed to touch the air around her.

  2. Suddenly, it struck Pixie. She knew who these ponies were. She started to remember the beautiful music they made together. Pixie Parcel felt like flying head first into a tree as a way of punishing her self for not noticing sooner. But the mare didn't want to be dismissed as a crazy pony and so she restricted her desire to perform such an odd action. However, it seemed as though they had the desire to practice. The pegasus could understand it perfectly. She often found her self practicing map reading, to prevent her from getting lost if she ever get's sent on a different route that she's never flown on before. "I'm sorry... I didn't recognise you two sooner. You're the TrebleClef sisters!" The mare commented. "Of course I'll leave you two to practice. It was a real pleasure meeting such talented musicians. I just wish it could have been in better circumstances."

  3. "Sure, we can sit there... Did I have a portfolio? I'm still kinda' fuzzy with the memory right now." Gerty replied to Applejack. Gerty Greeting's saw Valen looking rather wobbly and acting odd. However, since the mare couldn't quite remember what had happened to him she just thought that he must always be in such a way. The earth pony couldn't help, but smile at Winona. She was such a happy dog that seemed to be full of high spirits. Gerty gently ruffled Winona's fur with her hoof. "Aren't you just the sweetest young dog!" She commented before turning back to Applejack. "So, what was I like before I lost my memory?" She asked.

  4. "I'm making notes on your condition. It's important for a doctor to keep records of when their patient's condition improves or deteriorates." Golden Heart explained.

He moved over to his other patient's bed and picked up the clip board. He felt the earth pony's pulse and scribbled down a few notes on the clip board while looking at the heart rate monitor. He then re-attatched the clip board to the bed. Golden returned to Silverbolt's side.

"You see, I can just look at these clip boards to help me decide what to do next because I already know what's previously been done and has happened." He added.

"But it also helps if you remember to file medical records correctly, instead of just leaving them in a heap on your desk." Screw Loose added before coughing.

Screw Loose continued to sort the paperwork into different folders. She was looking for the names on the paperwork. After she had found the name, Screw Loose matched it to the correct folder. The sorting was easy. But the amount of unkept paperwork was quite large. The mare could tell he was getting behind with his paper work and he must have been behind on it for quite a long time.

"You know, if you needed somepony to do your paperwork for you, you could have just knocked on my door. I only live down the street from you, Doc." She informed him.

  5. Gerty thought back to the day she got her cutie mark. She remembered it well, but wished that her father was there at that moment to see it happen. When she thought about it, if it weren't for him being away then she would have never made her first greetings card or got her cutie mark. "My father was an actor and he spent months away from home. When he left, he wrote me a letter to me and it had photos in it. So I made a greetings card to send to him and after I made it, my cutie mark appeared." She explained.

  6. Screw Loose

Screw Loose was enjoying a good painting session. She was on her second coat of paint when she heard a mare having a conversation with a stallion. The earth pony didn't believe in listening to other ponies conversations. But then again, sometimes she forgot to listen to what other ponies even had to say to her. But that was just Screw Loose when her mind was buzzing with thoughts about good jokes. However this time, she was sure that the mare was calling her over to see her products. Screw Loose didn't want the fence to be half done. It wasn't even her fence. She just volunteered to paint it for somepony.

"I'm on a tight budget this month and I promised I'd finish off painting this fence." The mare informed her.

  7. Screw Loose

Screw Loose was spending the morning painting a fence. She loved getting involved in the community. The mare also liked to volunteer to work while she was trying to come up with new gag routines. The one at the hospital a few months ago didn't go too well. Then again, she was supposed to stay in bed and rest. The blue mare had decided that she'd never go against doctors orders again. Nopony likes being chased back into the hospital and then getting a good stern talking to. However, that was in the past and the earth pony was determined to put all of that behind her. She had learned from that simple mistake.

The blue mare's grey mane was still sticking out at odd angles. Her tail was just the same. She looked as though she was quite the unkept pony. But if anypony called her scruffy, Screw Loose would quite happily lecture them on how long she spends brushing her mane and tail. The simple fact was that the mare just couldn't tame such a wild mane or tail. She had bags under her eyes from a late night. The mare was working on one of her little community projects just the other night and she went to bed quite late. However, Screw Loose remained cheerful, despite looking tired. She was so cheerful that she couldn't help, but whistle a tune.

  8. Golden Heart poured water into a glass. He gave the glass to Silverbolt. After that, the stallion grabbed a clip board and began to write notes on it. He was carefully monitering his patient's condition. After he had done that, Golden prepared an IV drip for the stallion. He didn't want him to dehydrate.

Screw Loose peacefully continued to sort the paperwork into the correct files. Occasionally, she coughed. But the mare dismissed it as nothing to worry about. She believed she was still recovering from the illness she had in hospital.

"Got a bit of a cough?" Golden asked the mare as he tended to Silverbolt.

"It's nothing really..." The mare insisted.

"If you say so.. But it does sound like a bad cough to me." He replied.

  9. Screw Loose entered Sugarcube Corner. She was beaming a bright smile. It seemed as though the mare was in one of her good moods. She had her reasons. Screw Loose had just perfected a new performance Joke. To celebrate, the blue eath pony was going to get her self a tasty treat. "Hey everypony!" She greeted all of the other ponies with a joyful smile. She had a spring in her step today.

  10. I'd already have my cutie mark. My special talent is animals and that's no lie. I even do pet sitting for my neighbour. Her cats are so sweet. Even the one that's about nineteen years old and barely eats. I mash up her food for her to make sure she gets some food in her tiny tummy. Her other cat only wants attention and she purrs so much. I also do clicker training with my dog. She's learning how to walk on her hind legs at the moment. I even care about my precious guinea pigs. One of them is turning six this year and I love her to bits.

  11. Gerty gave Ice Storm the pin-tail. After, the pin-tail was given to her, Golden carefully blind folded Ice Storm. He didn't want to tie it too tight. But he also didn't want it to be too loose.

"Is the blindfold on okay?" He asked her.

"Can you see anything in front of you?" Gerty asked, making sure that the blind fold was on correctly.

Pixie took a seat and smiled. She couldn't wait to see Ice Storm play the game.

  12. Golden Heart sighed deeply. It seemed as though everypony was forgetting about their own health and safety. The stallion just didn't understand how that could even be possible. But he wasn't one for arguing or scolding his patients about their mistakes. They could learn from the experiance and not from the tone of his voice. Golden Heart sat by his desk and began to look at all of his paper work. He had left it for so long that his files were all a mess. It was quite the embarrassment for the pegasus. Golden knew it was a fault of his own,

Screw Loose wandered into the hospital whistling softly to her self. 'Urgh... Mental block. I'll probably come up with a new perfomance joke sooner or later. Maybe a little bit of volunteering here could help spring a few ideas into my head. I know hospitals can have their funny sides. Why doctors can't see it, I'll never understand. This could be different though. It is just a small clinic with only one doctor running it.' The blue mare thought to her self as she looked around. As usual her grey mane and tail were both terribly messy. But she didn't care one bit. She had tried everything to fix it up and nothing exactly worked for her wild mane and tail. The earth pony couldn't see anypony at the front desk. "Hello... Is anypony here?" She called out.

Golden Heart heard a pony and left the examination room. He calmly trotted out into the waiting room. There, the stallion saw a blue mare with a mane that suggested she'd been hit by lightning. However, he recognised her as Ponyville's unusual comedian and didn't comment about her mane. He heard from somepony that she disliked how it never stayed neat. "How may I help you? Screw Loose, isn't it?"

"I came here to volunteer for work... I always help out in the community and yes, that's my name." The mare responded.

Golden thanked her for the offer and lead her into the examination room. He told her about his disorganised files and she seemed quite eager to order the paperwork in the correct file folders for him. That made his life much easier. The pegasus went back to monitering his two patients. He was glad that his examination room was quite big.

    Character Summary:

Midnight Sun originally lived with her parents. Her mother was a unicorn. Her job was making furniture. Her father was a pegasus. He helped to control the weather. The pair of them loved their child dearly. But she was picking up bad habits from other city foals. She was disrespectful towards her parents and seemed self absorbed when it came to reading.

One day they grew tired of this new attitude she had. They decided that it would be wise to send their foal away to live with her mother’s nephew. He was a fully grown stallion and after visiting him a few years before, she knew he was well mannered and kind. Midnight Sun trotted into the room and her mother announced. “Midnight, you’re going to with your cousin Whisperpaw.” Of course the foal didn’t want to leave. But she didn’t have the choice.

At first, Midnight Sun didn’t like her cousin very much. But after a while she started to like him. They soon became good friends with him. Of course the mare didn’t like the fact that he took her to school every day. She wanted to go to Canterlot's school alone. But, after he explained why, she understood and gradually got used to his company.

Midnight Sun regularly keeps in touch with her parents by sending them letters every week. She also gets quite excited when they send her letters in return.

Midnight Sun used to act quite snobbish. However, she learned her lesson when she was sent away to live with her cousin. She has learned to respect others feelings. Another problem with Midnight Sun is she doesn’t seem to understand the meaning of the word bed. She often stays up past her bed time just to read or look at the sky. She is improving now that Whisperpaw comes into her room and checks to see if she’s sleeping. Sometimes he catches her out though.
