  1. Silverbolt shifted on his hooves, listening to all the conversations around him. It didn't take him long to recognize the Daring Do lookalike as Pathfinder, somepony he hadn't seen since Winter Wrap Up. He shook his head ruefully at her talking a mile a minute about the Ponycracker and how it related to a Daring Do book. Turning to the colonel, he replied, "Thanks for the information. I'll gladly go on the tour with the guard and dancer. If Pathfinder...", he jerked his head in her direction, "gets a little too worked up, I'll change the subject to Winter Wrap Up. We were on the same team last time. That'll be a nice change of pace. Plus they'll learn more about our culture in return!". He finished with a smile, moving away from him towards Pathfinder and the Guard.

Pulling his trunk towards them, he spotted another Crystal Pony arrive and announce herself as Tilly Tome, the Head Librarian for the Crystal Empire. He waved his hoof and grinned, looking at the farmland surrounding him as he followed the guard on the tour. Ponies were already asking questions about the soil and the like and a unicorn was trying to learn more about Pathfinder. He chuckled, knowing full well what was going to happen. "Excuse me, Tilly Tome, how large is the library? I'm Silverbolt and I enjoy reading a good book so I figured I'd ask.", he asked the crystal earth mare, curious about it.

  2. Silverbolt stirred at the sound of voices and stretched, yawning. "Hmm? Is it my turn yet?", he asked sleepily, opening his eyes. Instead of waking up to the spa sisters, a griffon and mare had entered the spa. He offered them a sleepy wave. "Oh hello there, if you're here for a treatment, please get comfy. It may be a while. I'm Silverbolt by the way.", he said to them, wide awake now with somepony to talk to.

  3. Jogurt slowly awakened with a yawn, stretching his arms and blinking. Groggily, he ambled to the spring and drank from it, noticing that everyone was gone. "Where did everyone go? Did I sleep in late?", he thought to himself as he munched on a cabbage head.

Having taken care of his morning meal, he went through the motions of putting on his helmet and equipping himself. He ambled to the steps and with a squeak, walked upwards, smelling ponies beyond the root wall. The trunk and roots parted, bathing his face in bright sunlight. Squinting, he emerged from the den, squeaking softly. "Hello?", he called out nervously, eyes still adjusting to the change in light.

  4. Timid giggled and said to Wind Walker, "Go ahead, you can pet him. He won't bite.". He found himself in the spotlight for the moment as Glimmer approached and greeted him, inquiring if Boney was his. With a smile and light shiver of nervousness, the metallic gold unicorn nodded before responding cheerfully, "Yep! He's my doggy! I call him Boney! Timid Star is my name and pleased to meet you, Glimmer!"

At this point in time, Boney was in doggy heaven. His tail thumped a staccato rhythm in the grass as he was hugged and petted by these young creatures. He yipped and panted, extremely satisfied by all this attention, rolling onto his back. Paws in the air, he expected a belly rub from them.

Timid turned his attention to where Wind Walker was staring, hearing her ask if anyone had been to the Everfree Forest. He gulped and shivered as another colt arrived and one he knew as Guiding Light. He answered her and then he chimed in over the conversations, "I've been in there too... Got turned to stone for a bit by a cockatrice... Ask Haywire about it.".

  5. Silverbolt regarded the scene before him with an expression of complete confusion. Swarming insects, ponies under a magical barrier bubble, and a young colt standing outside of the bubble. He listened to the colt's instructions, nodding once. He didn't want to know what had caused this situation as he carried the package to the front door. "Understood, Buzz. I hope they don't give me any trouble though, the bugs I mean.", he answered the colt respectfully.

Gently resting the package at Buzz's door, he overheard the conversation anyway and he was having a hard time believing it. It was almost incomprehensible to him as he glanced at the colt now resting on the ground, his eyes closed. "Okay, I've placed it where you wanted it, Buzz.", he said to the colt, turning his attention to Trekker and Pocket Change. He swished his tail a bit as he stared at the bubble, head cocked inquisitively. "I'm about to leave, I don't know what happened here but if you need anything mailed right now, I'll take it.", he said to them both whilst glancing at the insects nervously.

  6. Silverbolt sat in the waiting room, alone. He was a patient pony, willing to wait his turn. Reclining in the chair, he sighed and closed his eyes. "Well I'm a little tired from flying here. Think I'll take a short rest.", he thought to himself, grinning. "This is a pretty comfy chair. I can wait here for hours!", he said to himself, fluttering his wings slightly as he shifted in the chair.

  7. He listened, his eyes wide in surprise and shock. "Oh my goodness!", he thought to himself as she poured out her troubles to him. He grinned though, giving her a comforting hug. "It's fine, I understand. I get bad routes sometimes and it can be quite trying for me. Things happen, bad luck will give way to good things soon. Just gotta push past this and I think you'll do fine.", he replied to her, trying his best to reassure her.

  8. I wish you all the best, Scotchie. Please don't be a stranger and stop by once in a while whenever you feel ready. As a small side note; I was a little kid caught in the middle of a divorce myself. I have a small understanding of what you have been through and can commiserate.

  9. Jogurt looked up from the mortar and pestle, regarding Silt with a curious stare. He watched Silt eat hay for a moment before he was asked a question by Silt. He had inquired about his ring, which he was grateful to Silt for picking up off the dirt floor for him, and about his equipment. Still a little on edge from Silverbolt's exclamation and the newest arrivals, realizing how different he was to them all. He set the pestle down and squeaked nervously, tapping a paw in thought. "How do I explain this to them without causing them undue distress? Especially the ring, that thing does odd stuff to non-Yogs.", he pondered that thought for a moment as he took a sip of the spring.

He finally came to a decision to tell all and made a small flourish with his blade, careful not to damage the roots before putting the blade away in it's scabbard. He gave a sniff of the air and blinked, before settling down next to the fire. "Well, the ring is magical and it changes the wearer's shape to look like me. It does nothing else, and can be freely removed. You will still be able to do all you could normally do, but you'd look like me. I am a warrior, fought against a black dragon with a ragtag bunch of other warriors, mages, and archers. After everything was said and done, I somehow woke up here with no idea how I got here. So I kinda wandered around until I smelled you ponies.", he answered, bowing his head and nibbling on another vegetable from his pack, feeling quite drained.

  10. Silverbolt had been tasked with this delivery, and it had been uneventful, if a little boring. "Well, I'm here. Time to knock and nose the package into position...", he whispered to himself as he put the package onto the doorstep. Checking the name and address one last time, he grinned and softly tapped on the door with his hoof.

"Another smiling face, another satisfied recipient of a package... On time, no damage... Huh?", he thought to himself as Cosmo answered the door, sighing. His grin faded a bit, wings fluttering nervously. He nosed the package over the threshold, nodding at her thanks. He could tell that something was bothering her and he wanted to be sure it wasn't his performance that was the problem. "Is everything in order with the package? Or is it something else that is bothering you, miss?", he asked her, concerned.

  11. The mare had answered his greeting with a wave and a "Yes, hello." before Lotus took her attention. He gave Lotus an understanding smile when told he had to wait for some of the customers to finish up. He quietly moved to a seat and sat, finally noticing Aloe handling a spooked customer next to the mane dryers. His eyes widened in surprise at who she was comforting. "A Crystal Pony?! Oh my twinkling stars!", he thought as he blinked a few times to make sure he wasn't hallucinating.
