These forums are just Soooo slooow! nothing against the users but Forums hold a special place in my heart and I love using them. It just seems to be a dying style, thanks to Facebook and others like it.

Well, as far as 'mood to write' goes, if you want to make a living off the end of your pen, then you have to forget about moods and write anyway!

Beyond that, I'd have to say Twilight's Nerd Dance... that's why I watch this show.

I think the sisters would be the most affected by PInkie. I imagine them as a pair of chatty twins who talk back and fourth almost constatnly and are damn near fused at the hip. Really excitable and eager to get in all the fun they missed out on when they were younger, but they still have their responsibility to the family. But Imagine if you will, two young fillies who talk with the rapid-fire ramblings of pinkie pie but only to each other.

That actally makes me kinda sad. I love chatting on forums. If I wannted an IRC i'd go to one. But ah well. When in Rome!

When writing, drawing, composing or what have you, many have issues with focusing on the task at hand (or hoof, as the case may be). I'm curious to know what your method of overcoming this potentially crippling affliction is.

As for me, I found a very nice soothing song on Youtube, about a minute long and I looped it. Now, I can focus for hours at a time, a calming melody obliterating unwanted thought from my mind and allowing me to focus. I can use it to artificially induce my "Hyper Focus" mode, which comes from my ADHD.

When I get into something, and I mean DEEP into something, I can slip into a state of mind I like to Call Hyper Focus. All other information is laid by the wayside and I go tunnel vision. Time passes without my knoiwing it and before long, I've written 10,000 words in a single chapter on my fanfic and I'm half asleep at my computer thinkg "the fudge was that"

It's all quite fun.

Mare Do Well is a character from the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic TV show. The Episode "The Mysterious Mare Do Well" Features Rainbow Dash becoming increasingly cocky thanks to her heroic exploits to the point that her friends drum up a fake superhero to set her right. The episode has some of the other cast playing the part of Mare Do Well and showing Rainbow Dash up. She get's fed up, chases the Vigilante across town and uncovers the plot. Explanations are given, lessons are learned and a letter is written to Celestia. The End.

Not for Officer Amber Lights of the Manehatten Police Department. Her first case after her promotion to Detective takes her somewhere she never thought she'd be. She discovers her best friend and partner for Years, Stone Shifter is crooked, and working with some of the worst scum of the city, namely Ruby Tooth a vicious and ambitions lower boss of the Hoods street gang.

When Amber is discovered eavesdropping on a conversation, Ruby Tooth orders her to be put to death, but gives Stone Shifter a single day to convince her to forget about it all and just move on, knowing full well that she won't and simply taking joy prolonging Stone's misery. Given heart by his boss's cruelty, Stone ensures her escape setting it in such a way that the attempt appeared cost her her life but left no body. Once away from her captors, Amber discovers the very crime she was investigating has been pinned on her and that she is presumed dead by the authorities. She makes a decision. Mare Do Well had gained national attention and now had all but vanished. She would find Mare Do Well and Enlist her Help.

Will Amber Lights find the Hero? Will Ruby Tooth pay for his crimes? Stay tuned and find out!

Characters:

Amber Lights: Our Protagonist. she was an honest cop who got caught up in some dirty dealings and ended up wanted for crimes she didn't commit and presumed dead. All in all a productive day. Fueled by the media coverage of Mare Do Well, she sets out to seek aid from the mysterious hero, only to end up under the costume herself.

Stone Shifter: Dirty cop with a conscience. He releases Amber from captivity while on the way to turn her over to his boss fabricating her death so that she can escape with none the wiser. He was her partner on the force and dear friend, and is only in the situation because of bad choices in his past.

Ruby Tooth: A dirty Double Dealing gangster with an affinity for rubies and a lust for power. As the story begins, he is working a Magi-tech theft racket in downtown Manehatten but upon later investigation, he's revealed to be part of something bigger.

The Pink Lady: master thief, and an amateur Paranoid Schizophrenic. The Pink Lady is the First villain Mare Do Well faces. Every new moon, the Pink Lady perpetrates four thefts. One high profile "Impossible job" and three small almost inconsequential thefts. The three smaller thefts when viewed together form a clue that points towards her main goal. These thefts are spread over seven days and then, with the deed done, she disappears again.

This is a fan fic I'm working on and I'm really wanting some peer review. I was hoping somepony from around here might take an interest and give it a look see.
