Frostbite hoisted the filly onto his back, cringing slightly at the added weight. "Hold on tight..." He said, pulling his goggles over his eyes. "...because it's gonna be a bumpy ride!" He yelled, grinning, as he took off into the sky at a blazing speed.

Ehh, like the others pointed out a horn growing in would eventually kill her. I'd reccommend making it on the outside and making it bent or crooked or something if you really are adamant about keeping her sort of... "Derpy'd". You may want to change it a bit more since Diego's got a similar character, it kinda sucks when you make something to see someone else do the same thing later on, but reskinned. I know. I've been there.

Heh, no worries, no hard feelings. I just sometimes get this feeling that people are stealing ideas out of my head o_o Earlier today I saw the update for that big Flash pony game. Looks like one of the bad guys is some sorta evil goat. The bad guy in the pony game I was working on? I'll give you three guesses. Honestly, I am this close to wrapping my head in tin foil and locking myself in the basement.

As for this, you should've seen me with the MLP Abridged team. I was freaking tearing my hair out with them. Late March I tell my buddy RoboLime that we should do an MLP Abridged series. He agrees and we start searching among our friends for willing actors. 1 week later and EQD posts about the MLP Abridged series looking for actors. I get sick Easter weekend and I'm out all day. Come up with an idea for a rehash of 1985 by Good Charlotte using Cheerilee during my fevered dreaming. That Tuesday (or was it Wednesday?) the MLP Abridged team posts Muffinproof. I was maaaaaaaaaaaaaad.

"It's alright, Ginger." Frostbite said, chuckling. "The hug, I mean. I've got a little bro at home in Cloudsdale, and he does the same to me all the time, especially when I take him for Sno-Cones." Frostbite unfurled his wings and dropped low to the ground as if he was readying himself for takeoff. "As for flying... well, wanna find out for yourself?" He grinned, a mischevious look in his eyes.

((Alright, it's almost been a week since the last update, if no one updates before Monday night I am officially declaring this thread dead, and I'll do a finishing post for the RP.))

Frostbite mock tried to pry her off her, a grin plastered on his face. "Gack! Can't... breathe... losing... life... BLEH." He joked, mock dropping his head with a dead stare and his tounge hanging out. He perked up in a second, chuckling. "It's really no problem... Gingersnap, was it? Besides, I get more than enough bits to keep my life together. He chuckled, ruffling her hair some more. "I'm Frostbite by the way. Sorry if I didn't introduce myself earlier. I can get... eheh, 'sidetracked.'" He scratched his head nervously, a sheepish smile on his face. "People get irritated when that happens. Just a few days ago I ended up flying away from my friend Re-Roll when we were trying to find a hotel because I was wondering about where he worked."

Frostbite chuckled at the Filly's enthusiasm. "Sure, you can come see it when its done. You can't come inside, though. You'd fall right through the floor!" He finished, ruffling her hair with his hoof playfully. "As for breakfast..." He stopped, and pulled his bit pouch out, tossing her a few bits. "My treat." Frostbite finished, grinning.

Other than that, there's Out in the cold and the bunch of side stories it spawned, and Ah ain't got no ack-cent! which is very well written too.

Ah Ain't Got No Ack-Cent was pretty good. Out in the Cold, I did read it and its spin-offs. It was too WTFish for me. That and the way that Midnight was... "created" was very disturbing to say the least.

"Mister, why do you need snow to build a house?" The small filly asked, "Wouldn't it be more fun to play outside in the snow? Well, I guess having snow inside the house wouldn't be such a bad thing. You could-" Frostbite chuckled as the filly began naming off all the things you could do with snow inside a house. "No, I'm not making the house out of snow, I'm making the house out of clouds. Y'see, I'm not like a lot of ponies- I can't stand the heat." Frostbite explained, gliding down to the filly. "I guess I'm what you could classify as a 'snow pony'. I get on edge when I'm in the heat, and I can't stand being warm for too long. However, I can pretty much stay in any type of cold that doesn't downright freeze you to death without any problem." He flicked his head back towards the cloud. "I'm building my house out of these clouds so it stays nice and cold, just the way I like it."

"Hey! What's with the snow?" Frostbite stopped in mid-flight and looked down to see a filly on the road below him covered in bits of snow. "...Why are you covered in snow? It's not snowing today, the only snow in town is in these clouds I've been lugging to add to my ho-" His jaw slacked as he realized. "Oooooh. Sorry about that, eheheh," Frostbite said, flying below the cloud to patch up the leak. "I've, uh, been building my house today, and I guess I wasn't making sure the clouds were, uh, sealed properly." He scratched his head with a hoof. "Sorry about that."

Thank you for the proposal SonicBoom. You don't have to draw me something (my girlfriend will probably draw my pony when she have the time, and I will try as well). But I'd be really happy to see what you do if you want to !

Alright, if you've already got someone who will draw it then I won't bother. But, if you want me to draw a picture just ask, I'm always willing to draw a picture if someone wants me to.

Why do clouds with precipitation have to weigh so bucking much? Frostbite thought, gritting his teeth as he pulled the black, snow-filled cloud along. Frostbite cursed his need to be in the colder climate, it always meant more work on his house if he was going to get that colder temperture. Thankfully, his mother still had connections in the factory, and was able to get a readily made shipment of Snowstorms sent down to him in Fillydelphia. The cloud dropped bits of snow as he pulled it along, not enough to cause any drop in the content inside, but enough to leave a faint trail of snow on the ground behind him. Man, I hope I can get this done quickly. I'd like to go check out Re-Roll's store. I wonder what it's like in there. Heck, I'm honestly wondering what he even sells... Frostbite thought, still pulling the cloud along. His mind was too clouded to notice the small filly in the street below.

((My idea here was to kinda have the snow on the ground attract Ginger's attention, or have the snow land on her and attract her attention. It's your thread, though, so it's really up to you.))

He is most certainly available! Just give me a couple of days to get you a nicely cleaned up version of the drawing and he's all yours!

That'll give me a couple days to develop a character around his design.

And the delay is perfectly fine, it's not like it's a big deal or anything.

Yeah, I was overthinking it. That, and I did have an idea for something similar to the Apple Clan, but with the "cold" ponies.

Frostbite followed Aurora into the town square alongside Re-Roll. As they neared the restaurant, Frostbite instantly knew where they were at. "This is the place where me and Re-Roll er..." He stopped, chuckling a bit. "...'bumped' into each other!" Frostbite's stomach growled once again. "Alright, you heard the black hole, let's stop screwing around and eat!" He grinned, then trotted over to a table, sat down and began reading the menu.

You might want to be a bit more in-depth, like Shayua said.

I, personally, would like to hear more about her past and how it shaped her to be like she is today. Were her parents not around much? Was she bullied? Questions like that should be answered in order to give us a better picture of why she doesn't fly much, why she's so optimistic, ect, etc.

I'm surprised that on a forum where over 50% of the posts are us acting like we're ponies, no one' posted this fic universe as their favorite yet.

It might just be me overthinking this, but I see a fair bit of similarities between him and my character Frostbite. If this is just coincidence or on purpose I don't know. So, if you drew inspiration from my character or something like that could you at least tell me that you did. Heck, if you did we could do some sort of thing where they're cousins or something.

I didn't even know you had a cold-based character ^^;

I just had an idea one day and rolled with it! And this guy is different from yours - he loves cold weather, but his talents like in making cold treats, not dealing with weather.

I'm not so sure about cousins, but they could be good friends maybe! Perhaps one day Icy visited the snowflake factory in Cloudsdale and met Frostbite there

Yeah, that could work.

I suggested cousins because Frostbite's whole family involves the cold and, even though Frostbite's family is weather-based, his father could easily have a brother that was more into food than the weather. It would also explain the similarities between them as well.

But whatever works for you.
