  1. Does every unicorn's magic match their fur color? Could Twilight have known form the green magic that something is wrong? Nevermind that Twilight knew her well enough to know what color her magic was.

I noticed that too, I thought her green colored magic didn't fit her color scheme and her magic in the flashback with Sibsy/Wildfire was a different color. Also the only other unicorns to ever have a green magic aura were the Flim Flam Bros. so I immediately suspected her.

  2. Also, I'm calling that fanfic writers will make crappy stories about how Chrysalis is just misunderstood and such. I'm calling it now.

I'm not gonna argue that Chrysalis is some sympathetic misfit but I can understand her motives. Like Celestia and Luna, she is the leader of an entire race of creatures and it is her duty to ensure their livelihood. Her actions, while malicious, were done to feed her people not just to torment Twilight. I figure that there is a severe lack of "love" outside of Equestria to feed the changlings.

  3. I already have a general idea of what the plot will be:

Iron Will is unhappy with FS being such a weak, quiet wallflower and takes it upon him/herself to toughen her up for her own good and forcing her to become a brute. Fluttershy is put in several unconfortable situations throughout the episode will little to no progress, but she's too apologetic to admit that she has na issue with it. Eventually the tension reaches it's breaking point and Fluttershy 'Puts Her Hoof Down' by finally boldly confronting Iron Will, proving that she can be assertive when necesary and stating that there's nothing wrong with being who she already is.The 'twist' is that this was Iron's plan all along and Fluttershy learns to have more confidence in herself.

  4. It's not that it particularly matter to me if they dislike it, but rather, CAN they legitimately dislikeit? I started this topic to talk about the situation, and to get different point of views on it. Which, of course, you guys are really grat at that.

I can understand that people "can dislike it" but i'm just having trouble grasping that because if someone I know hasn't heard of it, I'll show them, and they will love it. So I haven't met anyone who doesn't like it. If they haven't heard of it, of course their initial thoughts are generally negative, but that changes after a few episodes. It's not that there AREn"T people that dislike it, but that I haven't met or heard of anyone that dislikes it legitamately. It doesn't MATTER to me if they dislike it or not, nor does it affect me. This topic has just been on my mind for the past week or so. I'm trying to fully graps every point of view on this, and keep this "debate" if you will alive as long as I can. I'm not arguing, but making sure EVERY point of view on this topic is seen. Maybe I'm just this way because I don't LOOK for the negativity on this show. I don't visit 4chan often, if at all, Even if people made "clopfics" and things like the fanfic "Cupcakes" the ydevoted enough time to it to put that muc hdetail into it. Which leads me to believe that there are Haters, and Bronies. No inbetween. Haters just attempt to "fit in" and be "hipster" for hating it. You can see this a lot with a lot of jockeys from schools. (Using real examples, not TV either) and generally, their hatred is not out of actual hate, but trying to fit in with the crowd. Like I said, I KNOW there are people that dislike this show ,but right now, the brony part of it is REALLY taking over, and the "haters" number is decreasing rapidly daily.

That's the problem, simply because you haven't people who didn't enjoy the show doesn't mean they don't exist or that people can't form a negative opinion of the show. Since joining this fandom I've meet many people who have seen several episodes and still don't like the show for good reasons. Some people don't like the flash based animation, some people don't like the that the characters don't really look like horses, some people can't stand the color palette, or were fans of the older shows and don't like that it isn't as simple and innocent as the previous generations. I understand that you are a passionate fan and FiM is an amazing show but it isn't perfect, nothing is perfect and insinuating that people who don't like it are just haters is no different than the insensitive opinion that bronies are just pervs and pedofiles because "there's no good reason for a grown man to like this".

  5. While understand how some people can be offended by Derpy's characterization, what I don't get is how people seem to blame this on Studio-B and Hasbro instead of the brony community itself. Every trait ascribed to Derpy aside from her appearance as blonde-maned, grey pegasus with a bubble cutie mark was created by the fandom. We're the ones that gave her a clumsy personality, a love of muffins, a goofy voice and an offensive name. Even her 'derp' eyes are product of the fanon as it wasn't until her appearance in 'Feeling Pinkie Keen' that it became a permanent part of her appearance. And this is the interpretation that the fans desperately wanted to see appear as canon, so if Derpy sparks overwhelming criticism for the misrepresentation of the mentally handicapped, we have no one to blame but ourselves for not realizing the offensive stereotype and pushing the show’s creators to include it in the series.

  6. I think Discord never saw Spike as a threat because while he is Twilight's closest friend he isn't an actual representative of one of the elements or the new Rainbow Dash.

Also my headcanon theory is that Discord's "corruption" only works while he has physical contact or direct eye-contact with another creature to hypnotize them, yet Discord never did either to Spike.

Was Discord ever made aware of their relationship? I mean, when he first reveals himself to the ponies, it's the mane 6 and Celestia. Later we see Spike as Rainbow Dash, but... how threatening is a baby Dragon, really?

Discord knew everything about the ponies and their weaknesses when he first confronted them and he saw Spike/new Rainbow Dash when Twilight tried to use the elements. It's a shame too, since based on "Secret of My Excess" a corrupted Spike would have been very useful for him.

  7. In my head canon, I like to think that AJ knew Pinkie and Fluttershy very well because of her occupation as a apple farmer. While selling her wares to local businesses she eventually meet Pinkie at Sugar Cube Corner and realized they had a mutual interest in baking. I also think AJ became friends with Fluttershy because she provided food for Fluttershy's animals in exchange for her assistance with sick/injured farm animals and pest removal.
