His mane and tail are a dark brown color. Physique: Winter Bolt is a lightly muscled pegasus with slightly larger and thinner wings than most other pegasuseseseseseses (I hope you get the reference). Cutie Mark: His cutie mark is an outstretched wing over a lightning bolt. Origin/Residence: He was born in the outskirts of Cloudsdale before moving deeper into Cloudsdale as an adult. Occupation: On his travels, Winter Bolt collects whatever catches his eye and hopes to sell these items at a decent price when he returns home. When he isn't exploring and studying, he earns money as an assistant chef. Motivation: Winter Bolt strives to fly as dexterously as possible and someday join the Wonderbolts Likes: Flying creatures, collecting things, making things Dislikes: Being ignored, cheaters, repetition Character Summary: Winter Bolt was quiet as a foal. Later, as a colt, he learned how fun life could be and became a very outgoing and loud pony. His mother's only goal was to take care of him. One day, while working with his father, who was a construction pony, he saw a bird in the distance. Winter dashed away from the boring work to fly with the bird. He became enthralled with the skill and grace the bird flew with, and therefore failed to notice that he was flying into the Whitetail Woods. When he realized where he was, it was too late. The trees were endlessly tall, and the forest seemed to go on forever in all directions. He dashed around the forest frantically until his father finally managed to find him, mostly due to the huge amount of racket he was making. They immediately began the journey home, using the trail of rope Winter’s father had been smart enough to leave behind. Once at home, Winter’s father turned to him as if begin scolding him. Instead, his eyes went wide with surprise and his mouth dropped in confusion! Winter quickly turned to try to see what had surprised his father so much. It was then that he noticed he had his cutie mark, an outstretched wing over a lightning bolt! He had been so caught up in his fear in the Whitetail Woods, he hadn’t noticed! Years passed, and he and his parents managed to get by working on construction. Winter was always amazed at how the construction ponies had to fly. He thought they flew too linearly and made flight seem so boring. He decided then to devote the rest of his life to learning how to add flare and fun to flight. He did what he could in the outskirts, but decided that to completely fulfill his goal, he would have to explore farther. He then moved to what he viewed as the best place to travel around the rest of Equestria from, deeper into Cloudsdale. Any pony that has met Winter Bolt will know that the topic of discussion can change at any moment. He is filled with ideas and has no qualms about bringing in seemingly unrelated topics and making connections between them. He genuinely cares about other ponies, but often times will randomly wander off in another direction to pursue a subject of interest. He is a fast talker and likes to make his points as quickly and efficiently as possible.
