  1. "Oh... I smith all kinds of things. Parts, tools, screws, nails, and the occasional weapon or armor." Storm moved out her right wing and shrugged it a few times, stretching the joint out. "I take on commissions up in Cloudsdale. Ponies come in all the time and ask me to make things. It isn't always just smithing, either. I've made carts, tables, chairs, even helped make buildings. It is hard work..."

  2. "Well... I can't say I know much about performing..." Storm stated to the unicorn. "But if what you are doing is what makes you happy, then you should keep doing it." Storm stopped walking for a moment and tapped a claw on her chin, thinking. "I haven't heard much about light magic, either. You say you might be able to learn how to make illusions? Maybe you could find a magic show somewhere and try to meet the unicorn performing backstage and learn there!" She looked around a second to see who might be listening in before walking forward again.

  3. ALRIGHT, pictures of Cathalos... and a few other people.

These other people... some of them may or may not be members on this site. They also might not want pictures of them here... especially in these poses. SOOOO... I will say now... If you don't like it, then sorry, but LPW wants these pictures. Spoilered anyways, just in case.

  4. "Ha, tougher... Definitely in how much strength it requires. It can get really tiring very quickly. I'm sure writing takes just as much if not more thought and effort, though." She paused, trying to think of the best way to describe smithing. "Well... for one thing... It is hot. Very, very hot. It can also be a little dangerous. The metal you are working with gets very hot, so it is easy to burn yourself. I've had too many feathers singed by the fire. It also gets very tiring very quickly. The bellows need to be pumped to keep the fire hot enough, which requires a bit of precision and instinct. You don't want the fire to be too hot or too cold." Storm decided to move more to the actual metalworking of the art. "One of the parts I have the hardest time with is when the piece is outside of the fire. You have to work it then and there with precision. I need to have every bit of the metal mapped; I need to know all the impurities, weak points, and other formations that could augment how the final item turns out. Once I get started, I can't stop until I finish the section of work I plan on doing then. I need to work quickly so it doesn't cool down and set wrong. If it does, it may be at a point where it would be easiest to start over... That is never a good thing. Sometimes I get lucky, though, and I can just reheat and continue working that section. And that... that is the basics of how I feel when I forge. I really enjoy it... What is it like writing?"
