HeartBeat was trying to catch her breath as she never really ran races before, she eased up a bit to let Rainy win the race but little did he know that she was just going to sneak the bits to him somehow.

"Oh would you look at that Rainy, you beat me." She said with a smile and a wink to Rainy, "I guess you can pay then." She giggled a little and waiting for Cherry to catch up with them as they stood in front of the bakery.

Trust me, the community here is bar-none compared to any other Pony forum i've EVER been on. (And i've been to a few!)

HeartBeat smiled at Rainy and then patted him on the head again. "You silly colt, surely you do not make more then I." She opened her bag and showed Rainy an amazing amount of bits and then quickly closed it. "Surely you can't let me pay for it?" She asked trying to get Rainy to give in to her.

HeartBeat patted Rainy on the head with her hoof and just smiled at him. "Oh that is fine then, would you like me to tell you another story then? I have a whole bunch of stories that I can tell. Or maybe Syd can tell us a story?" She waved her hoof at their now silent companion.

"Fine? Simply fine? No fun stories to share about it?" HeartBeat asked, she had always wanted to attend one of Pinkie Pie's parties but was sure that she was way too hopped up on energy and that wasn't too her style but she could manage. "Come on, tell me some stories then Rainy." She nudged Rainy and giggled a little at him.

HeartBeat smiled and nodded her head to Rainy, "Oh I know, that is why you love to hang out with us pretty mares all the time huh?" She said grinning massivly and pretending to fan herself with her hoof. She giggled a little then all emotion vanished and she looked at Cherry with a very serious look on her face. "Oh well then," She said stretching, "I assume you are ready to pay a vast fortune since my diet is strictly sweets and Lemon Water? How about I pay for myself since I have a very well paying job, and if you all need anything just ask?" She said then smiled and winked at the both of them as they trotted into the bakery.

HeartBeat shook her head at Rainy, "It wasn't just the right thing to do. It was what you were destined to do. You know, like....fate?" She said not sure how to word her statement. "So Syd said that you met him at one of Pinkie Pie's parties? I hear they are legendary, and that she is the best party pony in all of Equestria." She flipped her mane to the other side of her face and huffed at it since it didn't want to behave.

HeartBeat smiled and giggled at her two friends. They were in fact the joy of her life, they always made her day simply by just being there with her.

"Oh, I don't mind what we do. So long as you are both having fun!" She winked to the two of them then stretched in her chair and brushed her mane a little. "The bakery sounds fun if you wanted to get some sweets, I'd gladly pay for them!" She said in a voice that sounded like her happy level was on max.

HeartBeat examined her flank and then pondered a bit.

"Well you see, I found a bird that had a broken wing near my house in Stalliongrad when I was just a youngster. I brought it home with me and used some materials from my parents boot making store to make it a half-decent wrap so that the birds wing would heal properly. I took the bird back outside and was going to let him hop back to his family when I found another pony about my age standing there eyes wide and mouth agape. He was the birds owner and was so happy that I had taken the time to help his bird feel better. And after that the birds owner couldn't stop smiling, it warmed my heart to make ponies like him happy and then BAM. I got this cutie mark." She said as she then rubbed her cutie mark as if to shine it. She flipped her mane to the other side of her face and ran her hoof through it attempting to be modest. "I really did like your story Rainy, it took a lot of courage to stand up to a bully!" She said and smiled to Rainy who was obviously enjoying himself.

HeartBeat trotted outside and stopped next to Rainy and winked at him and smiled at him.

"So what would you like to talk about, I don't mind just talking about things. Sounds kind of fun. You said you wanted to tell us the story of your cutie mark? That would be interesting!" She said trying to get Rainy Splash pumped up and excited about their walk in the rain.

HeartBeat had finished her cake and lemon water and looked over to Rainy Splash. "Whenever you want hun, lead the way, but don't go too fast now." She said as she got up and used her magic to take all of their empty dishes back into the kitchen so that the waiters didn't have to. She then trotted to the door and bowed to the staff who all came out to wave goodbye to her. "Will we see you again anytime soon Miss HeartBeat?" One of them asked her, "We'll see, it is up to these two right now though," She said with a wink, a smile, and a hoof point towards her two friends.

HeartBeat giggled a little and then ruffled her poncho a bit. "I don't need an umbrella hun, I have my poncho on that I got last summer." She sipper her lemon water and continued to ponder about Syd's music. "Oh no I wouldn't dare take your coat, not from a gentlestallion like yourself. Who knows when you might need it?" She said brushing her hoof through her mane and then sipping some more lemon water.

HeartBeat looked up from her chair at the cloud. "Why in the world would there be a rain cloud today? The forecast said clear skies today." She giggled a little then patted Rainy on the head, "You can go get it if you want, just don't get my bow wet." She winked to him and then sipped some of the lemon water that was sitting on the small table next to her, she had recently become addicted to the stuff and couldn't get enough of it. She fidgeted with the bow in her hair not wanting to take it out.

HeartBeat put her hoof to her mouth in ponder. "What kind of music are you spreading, I love some choir and such music." She smiled real big in between sips of her Lemon Water. She had an inking sense that he wasn't into that kind of music, simply by the look of him. "I hope your tea is good by the way Syd, they have the best tea in Manehatten here in this shop." HeartBeat said and imediatly a waiter stuck his head out from the kitchen area and said. "Oh why thank you Miss HeartBeat, it is a great honor to hear you say such things about our establishment." Heartbeat simply sighed but kept smiling and nodded to the waiter. She was treated like royalty here since she grew up eating sweets here and told almost everypony she knows about this place.

I would like to take this moment to reflect on what the world has taught us about Hoarding....

I'm glad that you got into MLP:FiM as I know that it changed my life for the better! (I used to be an evil witch, but now I'm just a witch.)

HeartBeat sipped her Lemon water some more and then spoke up. "Well it is nice for your friends to show up too isn't it Rainy? And my what a big storm you brought with you this time!" She said jokingly and smiled to Rainy making sure he knew she didn't want him to feel bad that she didn't like the rain. She began to fidget with the bow in her mane again since she did that every time that somepony began to talk about her.

HeartBeat looked over to the new Unicorn at the table and smiled.

"My name is HeartBeat kind stallion. I am a nurse here at Manehatten Hospital and I met Rainy here last summer when we went on vacation together. How about you?" She wondered, it wasn't often that ponies she didn't know showed up in town. She was looking at this new unicorn and thought to herself, He looks like he might be a musician. Shesimply just sat there and smiled at him knowing that her questions would be answered in due time.

HeartBeat looked at Rainy and smiled a little at him, he was as energetic and loving as ever.

"Oh, well I have seen HighRoller and you so far. Not many ponies come to the city here, since it can be very hectic at times around here." She chuckled a little and then continued to eat her cake, taking very small bites and then sipping her lemon water in between. She thought back to what Rainy had said and then spoke up again, "You said that you were in the Weather Patrol? Do you bring storms or swat them away?" She asked with a giggle as she knew that Rainy Splash loved the rain.

I am currently skinned as AppleJack, but if ANYPONY can make a Apple Bumpkin Skin (with the scarf if you can get that detailed.) I would more then gladly swap to that!! <33333

Thank you very much, by the way. My house is almost done and there is a massive tree in my backyard that needs trimming if anypony needs wood, All I ask is that you leave me and baby trees that fall out.

She smiled and blushed a little at HighRoller, she always did prefer it when gentlecolts called her Heart instead of Beat. She finished her Potatoes and her Lemon Water and wiped her mouth with the napkin and took one of the small slices of cake from the plate and put it on hers and began to skilfully eat it, slowly to savor each and every bite. She was a sweets addict and if asked she could tell you every ingredient in a sweet just from one nibble of it.

"Well I see no problem in me packing a few small things for the week and then we can hire a cart in the morning, or even tonight if you wanted to get there before dawn." She said as she sipped some more lemon water that the waiter had just refilled for her and HighRoller. She thanked him and the waiter bowed out and went back to the kitchen.

"Oh hi Rainy!" She said happily as the waiter brought over another glass of Lemon Water and Mint pie and set it down in front of Rainy, he took the bits from HeartBeat and then walked back to the kitchen.

"You see, I have a deal here where I get Mint Cake and Lemon Water for a reduced price since I'm always here." She said winking and nudging Rainy a little, "Eat up before the cream on top melts." She winked at him again and began to sip her lemon water some more. "What brings you to the city?" She asked, she knew Rainy Splash loved the rain and was most likely here since there was a monster of a rainstorm outside that showed no signs of stopping anytime soon.
