It's really hit and miss it seems, I've seen blind bags in one walmart and toys r us, but not in the other ones in the same town. I'm guessing its completely random which stores they get sent to. But now Ima have to check my local CVS for them.

I think that both the elements and the ponies affect the result upon their use. It's my thought that perhaps celestia banished luna because she was either panicked, desperate, or inexperienced (it seems like nightmare moon rose rather early in their reign), and did not stop to think that maybe she can be saved. Whereas twilight seems to have wanted to help luna, and thus reverted her back to good instead of banishing her. Of course I could be completely wrong.

Also, I wonder if ponies are the only group that can use the elements? If so, does that mean they're some sort of ancient pony artifact?

I dont remember where, but I read somewhere that hasbro only had issues with the 1080p episodes on youtube, and the rest was just free advertising.

My mistake, upon further searching, it seems hasbro has been cracking down hard on sites and youtube both. Perhaps it's because they plan a dvd release soon? Anywho, youtube links are no longer liked by hasbro.

Definitely omnivore. Though I'm not very fond of leafy veggies, unless it's a really dry leaf, like spinach. I like most fruits, and except for bacon, Im not fond of pork.

Cadence was her foal-sitter before she became celestia's protoge, her flashbacks show her playing with cadence before she had a cutie mark.

We dont really know what role twilight's parents play in canterlot, for all we know they could be important people in court, or something. Would explain why her brother was a shoe-in for the royal guard, why twilight got such attention from the royalty, and why she was able to be enrolled in the school for gifted unicorns, when she clearly didnt show any gifts until the rainboom.(Though we dont know how exclusive the school is, or if anyone can apply)

Thats what season 3 needs, more background story on the mane 6. I wanna know all about twilight's super family.

Imo, nobody pays attention to the magic colors, it's just kind of a background thing.

I cant confirm/deny that it's just you, but I dont really feel that way. Then again, I got into the show somewhere around last december, so I missed a lot of the fanbase. But to me, it's more about the show than the fan content, though I do enjoy the fan musics. And if the s2 finale is something they can create without faust, then I am genuinely looking forward to season 3, and have no doubts that we will continue to see the same quality that we have had so far. While the nods to the fandom have been nice, why do we need them at all? Yeah, its a mark of appreciation, but the show would not degrade in quality were they not included. I doubt they'll stop putting in references to older movies, tv, etc, either. And friendship is a massive ocean, there is plenty for them to work with.

And if this is as good as it gets, who says it has to get worse? Why cant it just stay at this level of quality?

Changelings are from mythology as well. They are what become of what faeries leave over when they kidnap the young or innocent, I believe.

according to wikipedia, changelings are the offspring of a troll, elf, fairy, etc that is left in the place of a human infant, for various reasons depending on the culture.

Opened iron scissors in the infant's resting area was thought to ward off the fairies/trolls/etc.

So Changlings are corrupted Alicorns...? Which means there is a possibility of even further Alicorns... MLP! WHY YOU MAKE US THINK SO?

Parallel evolution eh? Interesting... Similar traits but different environment caused for a change in purpose... One is predatory while the other is not... Interesting, I like it! I do still think that it is likely that the Alicorn's were the original and breeding caused the 3 pony types to be created. Meaning that though rare, it is possible for alicorns to be born. I'd say it was most likely from unicorn and pegasus.

Could they have evolved alongside the original alicorn tribes, then somehow been blocked access from them for a few millenia, so the three tribes evolved seperately from each other while the changelings retained the traits of their original targets? Also, is there any relation between windigos and changelings? They both feed off pony emotions.

If alicorns have control of spheres of magic, hence tia(sun), luna(moon), cadence(love), could the changelings be a sort of corrupted alicorn species that once had magic over love, but grew dark and twisted, and ended up absorbing and feeding off it instead?

Gah, these changelings raise so many questions!

OK! Theory time!

The changlings don't seem to be a pony species per say, but share common traits. This would suggest evolutionary divergence. They are of the same genus but not of the same species.

This would also suggest that traits were once uniform, and Alicorns are actually the oldest pony species of special type. They might have been only female, and thus bred with regular ponies, emparting magical abilities on them, as well as individual traits. Thus allowing for the three pony types to be created. This also allows for recessed genes, which would explain the cake's kids. If Alicorn's are the common ancestor then the possibility of latent genes becomes more likely, especially when magic is involved.

The changlings diverged due to a genetic mutation. Possibly one of changing gender or a genetic anomaly that allowed inbreeding. thus the original traits were preserved.

EDIT: Yes, I'm fully aware I'm probably reading FAR too into this.

The changelings might also be a predator species that evolved alongside the ponies, and their similar shape could just make it easier to mimic them/blend into their society.

And I dont think that the changelings are a hivemind, with chrysalis being the only intelligence, being that one of them responded to pinkie's request with exasperation. That indicates some individuality amongst them.

The motion of rd "kissing" fs is in a frame somewhere between 1:27 and 1:28 in this video, but I cant stop it on the frame exactly.

Although I heard the sound too, the animation doesn't suggest a kiss at all.

It looked to me like a quick peck on the nose as dash was lifting her up. Not exactly ship-worthy, more of a sisterly affection, which would reinforce their relationship as seen throughout the show.

Cadence being her foal sitter would have made more sense if she was a unicorn as originally intended(?)

At that point she wouldnt have even needed to be related to celestia, the castle wedding could just have been due to him being captain of the guard, that's gotta have some special perks.

Though the story would have been completely different had she not been an alicorn

Also, I am now rewatching it on yt in hd, and boy does it make a world of difference.

I am blown away. Equestria Daily said this was on par with classic disney films, and they did not lie. For what they had to work with, it was absolutely amazing.

3. Make eggs and bacon to eat while watching a wedding between herbivores.

4. Watch episodes and squee repeatedly.

The bacon was glorious.
