Was watching "Over a Barrel" a while back, and when Twilight Sparkle tries to talk to the ponies in Apploosa while they prepare for the fight against the buffalo, I remember Twilight trying to talk to one stallion, and he simply responds with the most hilarious response ever; he turns around with gritted teeth and simply goes "GRRRRRRRR" and moves along. No reason for it, no mention of why or how weird it was...

Character Summary: starshoot is a unicorn who has spent a long part of his life hiding and waiting. the vault he lived in did not know he was even there, and starshoot had a good reason to hide. before fleeing to the stables, he was accused of murdering 3 ponies in a barbaric fashion. with his accusation, the whole community of the town he lived in shunned and hated him, making him an outcast. however, the worst was yet to come when he left the vault. not aware of the dangers of the raiders, he openly stood into they're encampment, and was quickly attacked and subdued. for an entire year of his life, starshoot was brutally tortured and hurt. after one day of a particular gruesome beating, the raiders were alerted to a possible intruder, leaving star alone. he quickly unlocked himself from his iron cuffs, and rushed outside, seeking the smell of an irradiated wasteland. despite his horrific background, starshoot can be seen as a calm, friendly pony, not one quick to judgement (excluding the raiders). however, occasionally ponies notice a slight grimace of fear and disgust at the most average things. some proposed he was scarred by his past, but few know the extent of it.
