  1. "I have been working on a new song recently, and If you would like to hear it Rainy, I will play it for you and Heart when we get indoors." Syd was partially nervous about playing this new song as it was still a draft, but hey it was worth a shot. Maybe he could get some criticism to help him improve his music.

  2. (no big deal, we have other obligations and that's understandable.)

Syd blushed at the sudden act of affection that Studio gave him, choked up by the act. He was so unsure what to say to the mare, by the time he had thought of something to say, she had galloped off into the night. Unsure of where she had gone, and then realizing that it was getting late, Syd made a point to find some form of shelter for the night. He could always use the folded up tent he had in his saddlebags, which he wanted to do, possibly to get some fresh air and privacy to think about tonight's past events. Syd walked to the very edge of town and set up his tent. Syd then went back to the town hall to make sure everypony was okay.

  3. "Sure I'll tell you my story, As a colt, my family used to move from town to town, and we never really settled down anywhere. When I came of age, I decided to stay in Trottington and do odd jobs around town. I found myself doing work on buildings and such, as there was much demand for these jobs and no supply of workers. I had learned much and decided to build my own cottage on the outskirts of town, and after much toiling and hard work, my Cutie mark appeared." Syd pointed out the hammers first, and explained that "These represented my carpentry and building skills that I acquired as a colt working on buildings and eventually building sets for bands. Now the colors behind the hammers appeared only after I joined a travelling band and picked up guitar as a hobby. I am still trying to find out what they mean however."

Syd put on a look of determination as he thought once more about what the colors could mean.

  4. (as long as we dont focus the entire RP on a character, it is fine.)

Syd was deeply affected by the story that Studio told. He made his way over to Studio, and reached his forelegs around her in an embrace and held on, feeling terrible for ever asking about her coming on stage with him. Syd whispered. "I am so sorry Heart, I truly am, and I think it saddens me more knowing that there is very little that I can do for you, other than accept who you are, and the burdens you carry, although... I don't know what to say...." Syd stayed in this embrace for a short while, hoping that Studio was not embarrassed by his act.

  5. (Don't worry about it, it helps flesh out your character so to speak :smirk: )

Syd, refusing to believe that there was no way to help Studio, said "It would help if you would explain this curse to me, and how you got it. If you want we can find a quiet place to talk this over if it puts you more at ease." Syd was understanding of this issue his friend was having, but he needs to learn more if he is to find any way to help her.

  6. After hearing Rainy's hypothesis, Syd exclaimed "I was never one for reading books, so I would not know if this was a curse or not. Heart, if this is a curse we can fix this just give us your vote of confidence in this matter. If this phenomenon is truly a curse, Syd was even more determined to help his friend knowing that this was something that she could not control.

  7. "Studio... please don't run, we can talk this out. You shouldn't be afraid, although this is confusing to me and Rainy, we are willing to sit down with you and find out if there is any way to help you." With this, Syd removed his glasses, moved very slowly towards Studio, and extended a hoof with a smile, hoping that Studio would not run away, and instead would sit down and figure out how we can help.

  8. Syd quickly noticed Studio run out of the hall, along with her drastic change. Concerned, possibly more than concerned out of just friendship, Syd apologized for the song ending so soon, and followed Studio out the building in order to find out what was wrong with the mare. Syd felt differently around this mare, and although he denied it, internally he began to have feelings for her... something he has not done in a long time, or ever imagined himself doing.

  9. Syd had noticed that something was worrying Rainy until he spoke up "I am fine Rainy, don't worry about myself. I have my trenchcoat here that keeps me nice and dry. I am not sure about you Heart. Do you need anything? I would really hate to see you get soaked from the storm. You can have my coat if you would like.

  10. Syd answered in earnest, "I'm a guitarist, and I do try many forms of music, although I like to experiment. I'm trying this new genre called progressive that has its orgins in Trottington.. It is about the experience and the journey that the song takes you on, and it is spiritually eye opening." After hearing what genres that HeartBeat liked he took the idea of adding a group of singers into more of his music. "I must say this is some of the best tea I have tasted. It reminds me of my hometown and the warm and cozy atmosphere there."

    (understood)

  11. Syd replied with a returned smile "I met Rainy at one of Pinkie Pie's parties not all that long ago in Ponyville." Syd sipped his tea with care in order to not burn himself. "I'm currently travelling Equestria spreading music around the realm. I have been on hiatus lately, as I have been offered a steady week long gig at a local cafe." Syd checked the time, and realized how late it was and how long the gig had run, and more importantly, where he was going to stay for the night.

"Another sucessful night" Said Syd in his signature cockney accent, who was on his way to a hotel for the night after his gig at a cafe. He was happy to have entertained so many people, and was thinking about many things, such as the empty stomach that was plaguing him. He was looking for the nearest place for him to get something to drink when he saw his friend Rainy in a bakeshop that he was going in. Syd walked in and sat next to Rainy and ordered a cup of tea. "Fancy meeting you here Rainy, who is your friend?"

  13. After watching all these ponies play their music, Syd wanted a taste of the action. Syd made his way up on stage after the previous song finished and and made and announcement. "This is a song I have written as a remembrance of my schooling days back in Trottington. Feel free to sing along everypony". Syd took out his guitar and began playing along and singing with the beat of the music coming from the DJ.

    (here is the song)

  14. Syd had noticed the colt he had just met had something different about him after singing on stage, but could not put his hoof on it. He finally realised and pointed out to Studio in his Cockney accent, "That lad finally got his mark I see. Good for him. I'm tempted to go up on stage and play a song with my guitar and sing myself. You want to come Studio, we could make it a duet?"

  15. "Yes I do agree highly on that. Although I only met these other ponies a matter of hours ago, I feel like I have made a number of friends out of them already. So what brings you to this party Studio?" said Syd, who then took off his mirrored glasses, revealing his deep brown eyes and more noticeably, his broken horn..
