Syd listened intently to what Rainy had to say. He reached into his coat pocket, which contained a necklace that he had purchased prior to coming here. It had been a necklace he had commissioned for him. It was of a briliantly glowing neon green diamond, encased in a golden wired tube, making it look like a briliant glow stick, not unlike Neons cutie mark. Engraved into part of the necklace said "You are my Light in the Storm called Life" He closed the box that it was in, and spoke to Rainy before going in. "I had purchased this for her a long time ago. It was when I was younger and I was too busy and cowardly to ask her if she wanted to be my special somepony, and when I got involved with Aura, I kept it in my Guitar Case. It was a constant reminder that she would always be in my life no matter what happened. I think it is time that she gets this."

Syd walked into the room and looked at Neon, who was staring intently at him. He sat down next to her and spoke in a hushed voice. "Listen, Neon I know what you were thinking, and I am quite sorry for not speaking up sooner. I know that you have had feelings for me since we met, and although I have been hush hush about it, I also have had feelings for you. Even when I was living with Dawning Aura, I had you in my mind. I was going to say that I shared your feelings, and I was going to give you this a long time ago, but I was too young because, well I was a little scared. I do truly love you Neon, and I hope that this is good evidence towards that" Syd gave her the neon green case with the necklace in it and asked a question. "Neon, would you, well... be my Special Marefriend and accompany me on the tides of life, my beacon in the darkness?"

Syd was just happy that everyone was okay, and that they were going to be reunited with their friends. After the two of his friends were deliberating how they were going to meet up, the two decided that Rainy would fly ahead, leaving him and Neon alone in the back. After hearing that she had some things to say to him, Syd said "Uh... Neon, what did you want to talk about..." he said with nervousness.

Syd made it to her house along with Rainy. He was surprised at the size. For someone of her wealth, he expected her to have a much larger abode. Syd sat back, as he would rather have a neutral party deal with the falling apart mare. Syd heard a yell from her house when Rainy knocked. "GO AWAY SYD!!!!I DON'T WANT TO SEE YOU!!!!!!" Syd's jaw had dropped and he felt his heart shrivel a little bit inside. Surely she had not meant that right? Neon did come out, and she looked terrible. Obviously she could not handle the stress of thinking she had been rejected... but that was not what Syd had wanted to happen at all. Syd followed Rainy in and sat down next to Rainy, hoping that Neon was ready to talk.

The human watched the bomb go off, as it wasn't doing it's job to completion. Frustrated, He hopped out of the bushes with the tubed weapon drawn. "Okay kliene ponys, Don't make any schudden moves, we don't need to make any problems. Now, scwhy are you in my little corner of the forest. It really ischin't safe hier. There are those dwellers all over, I have to deal with them daily." The human saw some snow falling, which was unnatural in the Everfree, and let out a happy high pitched "OH!!!. how faschinating! I must know, how have you mad it schnow hier? It is schomthing I have failed to do with alchemy."

"Wait!" Syd called out. He had no clue that Rainy's cousin was such a fan. He felt bad packing up like that. "Here, pass me the album Miss Splash." Syd looked down at the album. "Ah, good album. You know this was the one that got me really famous?" It was the Nightmare Side of the Moon album, exploring the feelings of Princess Luna on her past. "So I feel really bad about what I did there, so here let me give you something for my poor behavior." Syd reached for a piece of merch, a beach blanket with his cutie mark emblazoned on it. He gave her the rolled up blanket with a smile.

Within the bushes, a humanoid was observing the group of ponies conversing. The creature was wearing odd clothing. His face was covered in a mask that had goggles on it and what looked like a breathing apparatus on his face. A large brimmed hat loomed over his head, providing a shadow to be cast over him. He wore what looked like a jumpsuit that had numerous pockets all over it and a light jacket as well. From his belt hung various glass bottles and other implements that carried various liquids of varying color. On his back was a large backpack with scientific instruments hanging off of it. In his hand he had what looked like a human invention. It had a grip on it, and on top of the grip looked like a tube. It looked very primitive, but it seemed to be for self defense.

"Oh how wunderbar! More ponies in the forest. Zhey best be careful, zhose Forest ponies don't take kindly to outsiders." The man kept his eyes on the group, especially on the one with the skull for a head. It was strange looking, and it looked like a tribal, so he sprung into action. Reaching for a bottle of pink liquid, he threw it into the group of ponies that looked quite strange, and waited for them to start laughing uncontrollably. It was laughing gas after all.

Syd was just about to finish reading a spell on stage lighting, when he heard something that he feared in the background.....fans. Syd began packing his things up quickly, hoping that the mare that was running to get her album did not return in time so he could make a clean getaway.

Neon's tears kept flowing, with Syd trying to comfort her, he held his embrace and was about to say something to her, but she suddenly broke her embrace an ran off, tears streaming behind her. Syd quickly gathered himself and his belongings and began to leave the restaurant , planning to find Neon, although he had little knowledge of where she currently lived. As he was walking out he bumped into Rainy, who had a furious look on his face. "What happened?! Huh did you hurt her? You better of not!" was blurted out of the mouth of the fuming pegasus, as Syd saw his daughter cowering behind him, hoping that he would not do anything that would scar her daughter.

"Listen Rainy, lets not fight, I'll explain to you what happened. Firstly, I was comforting Neon when she broke the news that she had a crush on me, and I was going to tell her that I had a thing for her as well, although I never acted on my crush because I felt like she didn't deserve a relationship from me. I travel too much and it would not be fair. She ran out as you saw, and now it is time to go make reparations. You would not happen to know where she lives do you? We have to get there before she does something that she will regret..."

Vacation. Not something that Syd did often as he traveled way too much to play music, but it is nice to sit down for a while and enjoy the sights. Syd sat on a beach chair with a lemonade and a good book, which looked like a spell book from a distance. Syd wondered what else there was to do in this coastal town but he worried about fans coming up to disturb him in his rest time.

Syd was about to ask Neon about her blush when she spoke up herself. "So what else is there to talk about.Swee-!" Syd caught what she was about to say, and his face changed to one of a mild smirk. She began to sit down and she admitted something that he had suspected of, but never acted on as he thought it was a crush on the Stage persona of Syd, not who he was offstage. When she covered her face with her hooves and the tears began to flow, his smirk changed to a frown as he examined her break down in front of her. He noticed that the tears were sincere, so he reached for a cloth he had in his pocket, embroidered with his cutie mark. He moved closer to Neon and moved her forelegs away from her face and wiped her tears away from her face with the cloth.

Syd couldn't stand to see her cry, so he wrapped her in an embrace, and waited for her to elicit a response.

Syd was quickly knocked down by a grey blur, only to reveale as Rainy Splash. He looked up and rubbed his forehead. It hurt a lot, but he accepted Rainy's apology. When Neon helped him up, Syd exclaimed "I guess we are even then heh heh..." Syd pawed the ground with a blush.

"I had assumed that she would be coming. I did make sure that accomodations were made for a number of our friends at the hotels on my tour. I have to say, Rainy's daughter gets a lot of her looks from her dad." Syd sighed, scratching at his greying scruff on his face. "I had always wanted to have a foal, I at least planned to with Dawning Aura, but my occupation screwed that up. Now I hope that I find somepony that accepts me for my wrongs, and that I live the rest of my life with that pony. Hopefully have a foal, and try to be good parents."

Syd put away the photo and motioned for Neon to come sit next to him on the couch, partially because he saw her blush and wanted to ask her about it.

ALL IN ALL IT WAS ALL JUST BRICKS IN THE WALL!

Probably the most intense part of the 1st half of Roger Waters: The Wall.

((Of course! He wouldn't want to miss a trip with Syd and Neon to Stalliongrad would he?))

Syd looked left and right throughout the bar, looking for the teal mare with lime green hair. He then heard a voice call out for him that sounded very familiar. He turned to find himself nose to nose with a mare who was overjoyed to see him.... she was Neon Bright. Finally he had found her. Syd wrapped her in and embrace and pecked her on the cheek before speaking up. "Yes Neon, it has been a long time. I'm sorry that I sort of disappeared for so many years. I will catch you up in due time. Syd whispered to one of the employees asking him to open the private lounge, where they could talk more privately. It costed a hefty sum of bits, but his money was forfeit for all he cared, as he was wealthy. Syd led her into the lounge and sat down in one of the many couches, motioning for her to take a seat. "So how has life been Neon, I assume successful as you are hanging out in this swanky place. So Neon, I have a propostion for you. You are first to hear this, but I am going to end my career as a musician soon, and hopefully settle down with somepony, and finally have that family I failed to have so many moons ago. I propose that you travel with me on my Career ending tour. I had hoped that the tour would bring our group of friends back together." Syd pulled out a photo that he was looking on the train, and he sighed, with a look of hard thought on his face.

(He did change his avatar, so he has been on, but where he has been I do not know.)

Syd had not seen who the Stallion was, but he eventually realized it was Rainy when he exclaimed how long it had been since they ran into each other. "Oh my how long it has been Rainy. How has your life been?" Syd looked down and saw a Pegasus filly poking it's head out from behind Rainy's rear hooves Syd gave Rainy a look of approval, and said "You have a wonderful and healthy looking daughter there. Who is her mum?" Syd said to Rainy, not before getting down to her level. He then magicked out of his saddlebags a poster, which had a picture of him and his band, which consisted of foalhood friends. "So what is your name sweetie?" Syd said producing a quill and silver ink to write it down on the poster.

"I must be going, as I have to see Neon before I head out of here towards Stalliongrad." Syd said to Rainy, and he waved goodbye to his foal as he walked into the fancy restaurant, quickly looking around for Neon, who he could not see yet.

Syd felt Neon stop crying, and put a hoof on his. "Sorry for freaking out.I never really got cared for and got scared when you touched me.I hope you forgive me I was being stupid.Silver Wish probably hates me now too." she said, making him feel a little better. "Yes I forgive you Neon, and I don't think she hates you. She seems like.. well kind of protective of me." When she nuzzled him, he blushed heavily, unsure of what to say other than "Uh... er... should we go find our friends...." Syd held the astonished look on his face, unsure of what he was thinking about Neon.

((I would assume that the characters are nearing or in their middle age, If Syd was a human, he would be around 35-40 years old. Well, as long as age is not frowned upon here, we can make up our own realities can't we?))

Sydphony saw Neon run out of the abandoned and quite scary house. Syd ran after her, as he felt responsible for some of her pain, as she sort of became angry at the group because of his simple action of helping her. Syd tried to keep up with the ailing filly, until she turned a corner and sat next to what looked like an orphanage. Syd put two and two together and realized her orgins. He felt really bad for her, and sat down next to her and hugged her, hoping that she wouldn't reject his act of compassion

Twenty Bucking Years...

Syd found himself on the Ponyville express, the train that used to run between Appleloosa and Ponyville that had recently expanded to Stalliongrad and and Manehattan. He had been sitting there, looking at a picture of him in his youth with his friends. It was taken in a park in Stalliongrad, where they were having a picnic with numerous different ponies, all of different backgrounds and stories. Things had changed for Syd over the years. The friends he once knew and loved, gone from his life. A tumultous decade of touring after he had met his special somepony, Dawning Aura, had finally taken it's toll. She had finally broken up with him, distraught over his actions on tour, such as being unable to visit her and a lack of communication. It had finally come to a breaking point where he began to drink, and it was his coping mechanism. 10 years he had spent with her, down the drain. He became an angry individual, and on tour he happened to spit on a fan when he was trying to get on stage. His music suffered from his drinking habits and he took a break for a few years, silently working on albums that went largely unnoticed He began to lose contact with old friends and isolated himself behind his own mental "wall".

When news of the death of Syd's mother got to him, he broke down and realized that he had probably inadvertantly killed her with his bad habits and lack of communication. Syd worked hard to get out of his alcoholism, and eventually emerged as a new stallion. He made his way back up the charts with his first double album, dubbed " Sydphony: Perfect Isolation" It went onto be a huge hit 3 years ago.

Syd was reaching an age where he was no longer the youthful Stallion he used to be. His mane had remained the same dark brown, although it had a few grey hairs in it, showing a bit of ageing. His tail shared the same symptoms. He had a bit of scruff on his face, sparse grey and black whiskers went up his face, although he had cut them down in recent years. He still wore his signature trenchcoat and had a sizable apartment overlooking Central Park in Manehattan, where he proceeded with a largely private life. Syd felt his swan song coming along over time. He felt like he owed it to his fans, and thus began planning a tour for the ages a year ago. Now, he was heading to Stalliongrad in order to look for a venue, although he felt like he had an obligation to stop in Ponyville and see Neon Bright. She was the first friend he had made when he moved to Manehattan when he was just a colt. He had not seen her since the incident, but he wanted to see her, and treat her to a short trip to Stalliongrad.

Exiting the train, He began to walk towards the town, passing over a few hills on the way, eventually seeing two pegasi sitting together on a cloud. One flew away and he walked under the cloud and said in an aged and more gentle cockney accent "Excuse me , you wouldn't happen to know a Neon Bright would you, I was wondering if she lived in Ponyville anymore."

20 years. It has been so long since the Discord incident in that little Stalliongrad cafe. A group of ponies got together and formed a friendship that would last through their lives....or so they thought. The ponies had spent many years together, but slowly but surely they spread apart, each going their own way, and either leading into their own success or failure. It was fate that sought to bring the group together once more, 20 years after that faithful day. This RP chronicles their reunion in the city of Stalliongrad, where one stallion, who is an aged husk of his former self is about to start his farewell tour... marking the end of his Musical career.

I am not religious but I am technically Jewish. I send my regards out to your father, and hope for a safe surgery for him. The best thing you can do is be in good spirits and help your dad through this physically and emotionally by being their for him when he needs it most.

I love the Zaku to death, most soviet MS out there. But back on topic, hmm.... Applejack seems like a good fit since the Zaku is a tough and reliable MS.

Sydphony was about to walk away when a filly who was kinda cute looking nuzzled him playfully, and exclaimed how she was happy to meet another blank flank. "It's nice to meet you too..." he said, following in her hoofsteps until Neon knocked the duo of blank flanks down, making fun of him and her. Syd was NOT going to stand for this. How dare she make fun of him and her for their differences. "Neon, why would you say that..... after I helped you with your scrape..." Silver Wish was on the ground, and he saw that tears began forming at her eyes. He scooched over next to her and hugged her in order to comfort her. A grey pony crashed and helped them up, introducing himself as Rainy Splash. He lectured Neon on her actions and Neon came over to him and asked for apologies tearfully. He extended a hoof to shake and said "Lets start over... It will make up for what had just happened between us."
