1. Lavender Dream frowned a bit. "Time for my weekly grocery shopping." She trotted out the door and looked around.

"When did this place get here? A... cookie stand?" she thought to herself. "Maybe I'll check it out. But, what if the owner calls me a blank flank..." She subconsciously whisked her tail over her flank. "Well, I guess there's one way to find out." She walked towards the cookie stand, half afraid, half curious.

  2. (I think I'll join in!)

Lavender Dream rubbed her eyes and yawned. "It's already this late, huh..." she said, looking out the window. "Guess it's time to wake up, then."

She was a lavender-coloured unicorn living by herself in Ponyville. An independent mare with no friends and no memories of her parents or relatives, she stayed in her house most of the day. At a quick glance, somepony would think of her as a normal unicorn. Upon closer inspection, there was actually something quite mysterious about her; she had no cutie mark. As a result, she was ridiculed every time she went out for errands. Some ponies would scoff, "No cutie mark? Who even heard of a mare with a blank flank?" She would lower her ears and hold back the tears, carrying on with her list of things to do.

She tried to hide it when she went out in public, but everyone recognized her as the blank flank. People would make insults with her name - "Lavender Dream? Huh, I bet you didn't dream to be a blank flank for the rest of your life." They'd smirk at her. What good was she? She believed their lies.

She opened her curtains. "Looks like today's the day."

  3. Birthday Cake awoke in the morning and let out a stretch. She decided that before she'd move back to Stalliongrad, she'd take a walk around Canterlot just to take in the sights that she would no longer see every day. Before she came to Canterlot, she had opened up shops in quite a few places to see if she could get the right business, but none of them had proven to be as great as Canterlot. Now that the business in Canterlot was dying out, she decided that she would go to Stalliongrad - one of the places that she had failed at selling cakes beforehand. All of the events that happened in Stalliongrad were fuzzy to her. She just remembers that she was there at one point in her life, she met some very nice friends, and she wanted to go back now, but she had no idea why except for the hope to see these ponies.

As she walked around Canterlot, she saw many things that she never had really taken into account before. There were new ponies all around her, stallions, mares, and fillies she had never met, and the ponies she once were friends with were nowhere to be seen. Although they used to come pop in and visit, she hadn't seen them in a few years. She brushed her hoof through her hair, thinking of all of the things she could. "What exactly happened in Stalliongrad?"

  4. "That's good to hear." S'more said smiling. She looked at all of the ponies that passed by. "Are the rich ones scoffing at me, now that I'm accompanying these ponies?" she thought to herself. She stared at the ground as she walked along with Syd and Paw Print, thinking about how the tables have turned and that maybe she shouldn't have been so rude all the time to the common ponies.
