McDonald's Delis with a large meal = WIN. The chicken legend with sweet chilli is nice, but the deli has nicer bread and it has more salad to boot.

An online friend of mine (who really, REALLY didn't seem like the type to watch a show related to My Little Pony) recommended it to me, and while it took a few days one day I got bored and he asked me again "Did you watch MLP yet?" and I thought to myself "Eh, may as well see why it's gotten a lot of hype, and why my friend has recommended it to me".

I did not have high expectations, as I had nothing but bad memories of watching the original show when I was a kid (god awful plots, terrible characterisation, all the ponies felt like mostly the same character, etc etc etc) I watched the first episode and was shocked to find that I was enjoying it. Vastly superior dialogue, writing, humour, there seems to be some actual CHARACTERISATION in this show unlike the Generation 1 show (the trite I watched as a child) and...well, the rest as they say, is history.

I am now obsessed with this show XD

Spike wins this one for me, but I'm also really fond of Big Macintosh (REALLY wish he featured more often) and Applebloom. I love all of the Cutie Mark Crusaders but Applebloom wins it for me, mainly because I adore Applejack XD

My response to this poll? None of the above, Spike is my favourite character in the show XD He may be a sarcastic little bugger sometimes, but he's funny and utterly adorable, plus at the core he does seem like a genuinely nice person ^^ I'm also rather fond of Big Macintosh and The Cutie Mark Crusaders, especially Applebloom. (Of the non lead characters.

Of the main pony cast however my favourite of them is easily Applejack, so my vote will go to her ^^

For me it goes like this.

1) Applejack

2) Fluttershy

3) Twilight Sparkle

4) Pinkie Pie

5) Rainbow Dash

6) Rarity (love her sister Sweetie Belle, but fashion freaks/snobs really irritate me. She's the only one I don't like at all)

Indeed, especially since I've been so obsessed with this show as of late, watched episodes 1 to 24 on YouTube over the space of several days, made Spike my avatar on Twitter and Facebook (at least on my fan page anyway) and I've been doing an RP with the friend that convinced me to watch it in the first place, and said RP crosses over with The Legend of Zelda, not the biggest Zelda nut but I know a few things and he's taken the helm when that mattered XD

Hey guys, I did join this forum a day or so ago, but I'm only just getting around to posting for some reason, oh well .

It feels odd to be joining a forum related to a My Little Pony cartoon, I do feel lucky to have found it though as other sites like My Little Pony Arena seem largley focused on either collecting the toys (not something I'm interested in) or the old shows based on My Little Pony (something I'm interested in even LESS!) so yeah, pretty awesome that this place exists ^^
