Big Mac, easily! He needs to get more character development and appear more often in general! I don't want him to just be an "Eyyup" machine, he has the potential to be as great a character as the main 6, he's just not shown often enough!

I have an HTC Desire Z and I am SO downloading this app! It actually suggested it to me when I first loaded the page on here, but I said no to it...now I feel like a fool XD

I know several of the ponies in Friendship is Magic are based on ponies from priot shows (though they're better characters in FiM, but that goes without saying XD) but Twilight never had the surname "Sparkle" until FiM, and this was after Twi****e became popular, that was my point when making this thread.

Gotta love FiM for saving the word Twilight though XD (as Ginger Mint mentioned)

I know this is only a My Little Pony cartoon, and I'm not asking for a blood bath or anything over the top like that, but I would like to see more in the way of actual threats in season 2, the closest we came to that in season 1 were Nightmare Moon, the buffalo tribe and the gem dogs, and the buffalo didn't take all that long to resolve their conflict with the ponies anyway. Nightmare Moon was the only one where anything was truly at stake, and she was the antagonist of the very first episode.

Again I don't want it to become a violence fest, just some actual tension now and again would be awesome Lso, lose Celesita's somewhat warped and inconsiderate sense of humour as well.

You can get HTC phones with Android on (my HTC Desire Z uses Android 2.2) in fact very few HTC phones DON'T use Android.

Some HTC phones do use Windows Phone 7 though.

So, a fellow HTC user eh? Awesome! They have a LOT of handsets though, and mine is surprisingly hard to find in phone shops in the UK, to get an unlocked one I had to go online!

Thread title says it all, what mobile/cell phone do you guys use? I had been using a BlackBerry Curve 8520 for about 3 to 4 months, but I recently changed to an HTC Desire Z, as much as I liked the keyboard on the Curve the phone and OS in general were just too slow for my liking, especially when it came to web browsing (which was downright atrotious on that Blackberry phone) so I changed to a much better smart phone that still has a physical keyboard, it,s not as good a keyboard but everything else about it is vastly superior (screen size, resolution, web browser, speed...it goes on XD)

I'm actually using that phone to post this thread as well, just because =P

They explain how characters like Twilight can use them, using her magic to hold up said items and use them that way (for example quills when she writes letters) but for the other characters there is no such explanation as of yet, but...does there really need to be one? It's one of the greatest and most well written cartoons ever made even with the odd gap in the logic ^^

I gotta be honest, I think it's a bit TOO good of a coincidence to be one, it would be impossible for Lauren Faust to have not heard of Twilight and the fact the vampires in it sparkle, even if she'd never read or watched a single book or film from the franchise even once.

This may seem like a dumb concept for a thread, but dammit I'm a curious son of a ***** and this has crossed my mind since I heard Twilight's full name for the first time.

Now I'm fully aware that one of the previous generations had a character named Twilight, but as far as I'm aware she didn't have the "Sparkle" surname. (I don't know a great deal as I can't stand My Little Pony prior to Friendship is Magic, but correct me if I'm wrong about any of this) and as we all know in recent years a terrible book/movie franchise by the name of "Twilight" has come to (much undeserved) recognition and fame in recent years.

The series is infamous for a number of different reasons, but one of the most prominent is the fact that the vampires sparkle (for some reason) so jump forward several years and a new character named Twilight debuts in a new My Little Pony show, but she has the surname Sparkle?

Is this just a coincidence or do you guys think Lauren Faust intentionally referenced the Twilight series when naming this show's protagonist? I'm curious to see what you all think

I don't think there's anything wrong with the idea or possibility of her being a lesbian, I have nothing against lesbians or homosexuals in general, I just don't like the reasons people are citing as evidence for her being one as they're incredibly sterotypical. Applejack isn't very feminine but no one says she's a lesbian... because she doesn't have Rainbow in her name or a rainbow themed colour scheme? That's the only reason? It just seems like a double standard to me.

The Powerpuff Girls are not Lauren's creation. They were created by Craig McCracken. While Lauren Faust did work on the show, she did not create the characters. Dunno about her being the "brains" a lot of writers and storyboard artists also worked on it.

She wasn't the only producer... there are like 10+ left. I doubt much will change.

She was the head writer though, the one with the most creative control, head of the project etc, so I can't help but be skeptical that something is going to change with her leaving

I do think it is because they are trying to find a character to relate to. We will probably never know. It does disappoint me because I can not find any good fan art of rainbow dash that does not revolve around this subject.
