Greed

Upon hearing Slade's cry Greed leapt forward and tackled Trixie to the ground, pulling her into the cover of a nearby boulder. "We still yet have need of you," He whispered into her ear to stop her struggling.

Gluttony let out a yelp and landed next to them, she'd ut her leg in the process, but proceeded to use her powers to heal the wound. "What's going on?" She asked, her voice slightly trembling.

Envy was frozen stock still with fear, she was so scared that it began to hail heavily inside the cavern, pelting all the inhabitants with frozen rain...

FML, I thought I was forgetting something...

"Is something wrong Sir Newsworthy?" Greed asked when he came upon Newsworthy, who looked to be alittle stumped as to the location of the Forest Dwellers. "Slade seems have brought this Trixie to...'our side'. She will lead us i am sure of it."...

May not be quite what you want but I finally got it working, if you don't like it just say so and i'll get right to making a new one or fixing it

Greed, Envy and Gluttony sped after Newsworthy, leaving Slade and Trixie behind. Gluttony was interested in how the smoke pellets that Slade had used worked, but for now there was no time to stop and ask him. Greed's notepad was scribbling away, recording the rescue would allow him to write it up properly later, as well as any new information about the Everfree Forest. Envy kept herself to herself, although she wasn't so scared any more, just determined to do her part, hence it had stopped snowing and now was beginning to get quite warm, as if a heatwave was arriving...

Envy shied away at Noteworth's gaze, and it began to snow again. Greed stepped forward. "I don't have the means to track, however i believe that Envy's lightning victim is coming round, maybe she'd be so kind as to guide us through this forest?" Greed gave a nod that indicated a pleased smile, as Gluttony brought up the hooded pony who had threatened Noteworthy. "She's all yours, have fun!" Gluttony winked at Noteworthy...

'This is getting more and more interesting,' thought Greed as the smoke drifted away. Gluttony ran forward, "Come back! We need your help now!" She yelled, slightly annoyed. She kicked the ground, frustrated. Envy took the scroll that had rolled to her feet and opened it carefully, she walked upto Noteworthy and passed him the parchment. "...what do we do...?" She asked, as the snow departed and it began to slightly rain...

Greed felt Haybrun tense, the fact being that they'd only been able to get one set of papers. however Greed was not worried and without the guard noticing, tore a page from his notepad. "I think this will tide you over good sir." The guard looked at the paper, then back at Greed, then back at the paper, then back at Greed, before finally letting the two of them pass into the entrance. Greed glanced at Haybrun, and nodded his head as a way of insinuating a sly smile...

Glad ya like it BTW Greed, your banner is done, but I'm (once again) having problems exporting from it's current photoshop file. I'll try more in the morning, to tired right now

Gluttony heard Lucky's offer and froze, she knew he was probably kidding but still she'd been particularly frosty towards Lucky of late because her feelings had been frightening her. She looked over at Lucky as the rest of the group either chuckled and give knowing looks at each other, or rolled their eyes and wandered off to prepare themselves.

just when it seemed that the joke had passed, Gluttony walked over to Lucky, who hadn't noticed her approach, and lent forward kissing him on the cheek...

When the cylinder hit the ground, Envy and Gluttony leapt back, Greed stood where he was, after all his head was a skull, he had nothing to fear from the gas. It began to snow as Envy's fear got the better of her, obscuring sight. "Gluttony, do you know what that was?" Greed asked, "Hmm, some kind of, hehehe, laughing gas! Certainly a cool weapon choice, hehe!" Gluttony replied, she'd gotten a lungful or two of the gas. "My pegusus friend, can you see anything?"...

Greed took seven copies of the archives and passed them round to the assembled Sins. "The plan is sound General, we shouldn't have need to worry. unless someone does something stupid..." Greed looked round, studying each pony's face in turn. He turned back to Haybrun, "Now, shall we?" He gestured towards the door.

As Greed and Haybrun walked into the building, it started to snow. Everypony looked up, confused until Envy piped up, blussing slightly "...Sorry...i'm nervous..." she muttered...

Greed shook hooves with the pegusus, "You owe us nothig good sir, I am Greed, this is Gluttony, and this is Envy, who is the one who sent that cloud." Envy sheepishly mumbled "It was nothing," before proceeded to draw circles into the ground with her hoof. "Now," began Greed, "Who is this Partheus? And what can we do to aid in his rescue?"

Envy had retreated to the saftey of the treeline, so Greed and Gluttony emerged from the bush they'd been hiding behind, "Hello sir! Down here!" Greed called out. "Gluttony would you be so kind as to apprehend that hooded pony for us?" Gluttony nodded and ran towards the stunned, hooded pony, taking special care to knock the sword out of the pony's reach, in case she were to recover before she could be restrained.

Greed was touring near the Everfree Forest, hoping to find a new creature to capture and study. He'd been at it all day, with the help of his friends Envy and Gluttony, both of whom were getting a little bit weary of searching. However their luck was about to change when Gluttony saw two distant ponies get cornered and ambushed by a group of hooded individuals. She got Greed and Envy's attention and they watched as the hooded ponies tied up and carried off one of the pair, the other was left at the mercy of a sword wielding pony whom had been called Trick-See by one of the hooded group. "We can't just let them kill him!" Gluttony whispered to Greed, how replied with a quick nod, "You are right, but if we are not careful then he may slay the other before we can offer assistance." Envy suddenly stood up and sneaked closer to the pair, she closed her eyes and a small black clod appeared over her head. The cloud floated over to the pair, high in the air, and just as the two ponies noticed it a bolt of lightning shot from the cloud and struck the sword that was being held by the hooded pony. The hooded pony stumbled and fell over, dazed from the shock of the lightning. Envy glanced back to Greed and Gluttony, "hehe, that'll work..." said Gluttony...

Greed, i'm working on yours right now, but the ponies that I cut out of your picture are for some reason acting like they're non-transparents. So if I can't figure this out, I might have to go back and re-cut them

EDIT: Looks like due to unknown circumstances... (unknown being yet another hard-drive-dump) I only have the cut out ponies of Greed's pic and the two (one of the three pics was deleted or something) SRG's ponies. My banners were totally eradicated along with an hours worth of Minecraft trial-and-error mod mixing.

Greed chuckled pleasantly. "I am not in need of medical help, do not worry yourself with my appearance." Greed then slowly walked up to Crescent, studying his wings closely, he held out a hoof and gently held the tip of Crescent's wing, all the while the notepad was making note upon note. Carefully Greed removed one of Crescent's feathers, strangely without causing him any pain. "Interesting...are there others like you? I've never encountered ponies whose anatomy differs from the, i assume, standard pony design." The feather floated towards the notepad and was lost inside its pages...

The premise seems fairly solid. However, I'm confused as to the motivations of the seven mane characters: Are they looking to overthrow Sheol? Escape Altestria? And what do they hope to achieve with the Elements of Harmony? All in all, they seem to be defined characters, but I'm also wondering if there's too much of a black-and-white/good-vs.-evil kind of deal. Will we learn Sheol's side of the story in this? How does he feel about being born out of negative feelings? Is he like Discord in that he's an insane, powerful entity who simply wants to rule for the power, or does he have an overarching plan once he takes over Altestria? I know you probably have these answers all thought-out. I was just trying to get a feel for the story's themes before I comment on subject any further.

No, no that's great that you want to know more, i'm glad people are interested. I'll answer what questions i can without spoiling anything.

The 7 Sins are looking to overthrow Sheol in order to stop him from corrupting all of Altestria. Now Altestria IS the opposite of Equestria in terms of its character but the residents are much like those in Tim Burton's Nightmare Before Christmas, in that they live in a dark, twisted world, but they are happy there. What Sheol's influence does it turn the land from dark to evil, from twisted to complete nightmare, and any Altestrian pony that spends too long under Sheol's 'shadow' loses their willpower and becomes a pawn for Sheol to use. Greed learnt that if Sheol was to gain complete control of Altestria then the arcane magic that flow through the land, and link it to Equestria, would allow Sheol to breach the dimensional barriers and extent his influence to other realms.

The Elements of Harmony are the force that once governed order and balance in both realms, however when Nightmare Moon broke the orbs, and the spirits found living avatars in the form of the Man 6, then the power of the Elements was lost in Altestria. This allowed the negative emotional energies from Equestria, expunged due to the Elements' presence, to build up in Altestria and thus eventually form Sheol and the Sins. Greed surmises that if the Elements are returned to Altestria then their power might be enough to banish Sheol forever, what he doesn't know is that the Elements are no longer objects, but ponies.

Although it has a good vs evil vibe to it, i hope that it isn't too mushy, heroic, paladin vs black knight kind of action, if you et what i mean. The fact that the heroes are basically incarnations of the Seven Deadly Sins, albeit with more personality that just what their names suggest, and that Sheol's name itself has biblical references, as well as meaning Pit or Grave, would make it more interesting. The Sins don't want to banish all darkness, indeed if they did that, then nopony in Altestria would survive, they simply want to end Sheol's tyranny before it's too late.

I can't tell you about Sheol's part in the story without spoiling it, but rest assured that we learn a lot about him, his motivations, and feelings.
