  1. There's just one thing I see that doesn't seem to fit. Under dislikes, it says, "Ember Heart loves his hometown and does not like traveling very far outside of it." However, you say that he wants to move to Canterlot, which is pretty far from Fillydelphia. That just doesn't seem to make much sense.

That was bad wording on my part. I can see how that doesn't make sense especially when Search and Rescue teams and other relief efforts will leave to help out a nearby city in their time of need. I meant that he dislikes temporary traveling like a vacation where as the move to Canterlot would be a permanent thing. I think I might just remove that dislike all together.

    edit: Done

  2. hi hi

Yet more from the realm of "people without hands doing things." Hirotada Ototake threw a pretty good pitch for someone without any limbs.

That dude is awesome. Mountains of respect for him.

I always thought that they all had super sticky gunk at the end of their hooves that allowed them to hold stuff kinda like the power puff girls...........What it all comes from the mind of Faust. :D

That sticky gunk would really be quite amazing. Although wouldn't it suck to get stuck to the ground all the time? It just seems like it might have been a hassle... Maybe the tools themselves are sticky.

I know you were joking. But I'm a serious guy xD

    I am too :)

Well maybe it could be like a spider then were they can control it. Idk. Faust has some explaining to do. :shifty:

  4. Did they switch up brony and parasprite? I thought brony came first :?:

    New board features! - 20/06/2011

Humph. Artax needs to tell us when he does that, instead of just editing and hoping we notice xD

I feel honored that I'm one of... What? It must be 10 bronies excluding staff?

@Diego: Thanks, I enjoy posting a lot for you bronies xD

I've been keeping track of how many posts I got in a day. 70 on saturday. 40 yesterday. Lol

Seriously you were only at 100 or so on friday. Crazy kid :)

(Achievement Unlocked [board First: Wonderbolt] Awarded to Ziddia!) I can just see it in the announcements now

  5. The main reason we 'Closed' Ponyville is that we didn't want everybody and their ponies to all be from Ponyville, not with the whole of Equestria open to them. There was a large trend of everybody thinking their ponies had to be from Ponyville to RP there... not true! Your pony can be from -anywhere- and RP -anywhere- but we just didn't want the entire population of Equestria to be centered in Ponyville. It's a village, not a city, and with the rate things were going, the population would have exceeded even Manehatten's figuratively. Though most people seem to feel to gravitate towards Ponyville because that's where the show usually takes place, it's good to branch out and explore more. Try new things! These other places won't develop without you! Don't feel like you have to stick to canon that you know (Which won't be a lot based on the show!) and instead develop the world as you see it. Think Fillydelphia has Equestria's biggest waterpark? It's yours to build! Appleoosa's the home of Equestria's biggest Apple Festival? Bring it up! The world is yours to write!

That post just made RPing seem that much better. Idk if it is the case with anypony else but I have been pretty hesitant to start RPing because so many of the towns lacked a detailed description. I did not want to mess with the "cannon" of things in the RP community. Wouldn't a massive brainstorm thing where everypony came together and added life to these towns work as well? The only reason I ask is what if two different RPers went and created two TOTALLY different versions of a town. We are all rping in the same world around the same time period right? Couldn't this cause some form of conflict? I may be over thinking it. :D

  6. I think Rain Leaf and Ember Heart go good as two words.

Wait a second. Those are Warriors references, aren't they?

Nope. I do know what you are talking about though.......I think.......kinda......hmm ;)

Well I think it is ready for a look over.

You need to remove the WIP tag if you want it to be looked at for approval. :D

    DERP :P

    ok done

  7. Well Toy Story 3 was pretty good to me. I mean yea they spent their time trying to get back to Andy but now that Andy grew up he doesn't want to play with them anymore and they accept it besides Woody(Of course). As toys they just want to be played with and let's be fair here all the toys besides Woody weren't all that loyal to Andy to begin with. If Woody wasn't around they probably wouldn't have cared as long as they got played with. As for Bo and squeaky penguin thing they were donated or given away as he got older most kids don't want to keep dolls or kid like toys around when they are growing up. Probably couldn't save her because they are trying to keep their secret that they are alive and just couldn't get to her in time.

Also they talked about this in Toy Story 2 that Andy will grow up and Woody would probably be thrown away as the outcome and Woody said that he wants to at least enjoy the last few moments/years he had with him.I think it was a great conclusion to the Toy Story franchise. I mean Andy surely wasn't going to stay young forever and they are darn lucky to have been given to a good kid. That's pretty much the life of a toy be played with then handed down.

    Amen.

    @Dusty ...........WUT..........again

  8. There needs to be something like this for the fandom. The only thing we have like this is SecondLife, and that's pretty crappy anyway. This does sound like a pretty big project though. I know Java, but what sucks is that my Java class only taught me Java 2 1.4.2, which is pretty old. I could certainly learn the more modern versions, though.

As for different skills or strengths for different pony types, it should be something like...

    Pegasus: Fastest

    Earth Pony: Strongest

    Unicorn: Magic!

EDIT: LWJGL is more than just graphics, and it's not really an engine. It's just a library of useful stuff :D

You would still need to have it so that strength is a good enough trade off. That is going to be super tricky.
