Lightning nodded, "Thanks a bunch Ms. Black, I would love to try it." She smiled at the teacher eagerly.

Cloud matched Ria's volume, "I'm fine Ria, I'm exited about spending the day here with you." Before forgetting, Cloud reached into his saddle bag and pulled out a large stack of papers. "Here's the book I'm working on, its historical fiction." His eyes shined at her, obviously happy to be around Fictoria.

Cloud's morning was a conglomeration of him stressing about his day with Ria, making himself look nice, and ultimately calming down, packing up his things and flying over to the library. He stepped inside and looked around, smiling. Cloud trotted quietly over to the front desk and whispered; "Good morning Fictoria, how are you today?" He smiled widely at her.

I think you guys are over reacting I havent been able to really get on a lot because of school and a back injury. If you guys really want it dead then by all means, go ahead

When Lightning heard the word "Papaya" Her eyes glazed over. "I love papayas, so much, they're my favourite, can we get some?" She looked exited over such a silly thing, Papayas had a hold on her, and when she ate them it felt like she was covered in soft fur.

Cloud looked at Ria, almost in a trance, he thought about a few tasteful things he would like the two to do together.. "Absolutely, I can't think of anyone I'd rather show it to." (A time skip is fine with me ^^)

Cloud gave a little laugh, "Not really, Its just Cloud, my last name is Shimmers. I've been called plenty of other names, but none really worth mentioning." He blushed a bit, remembering some of the sillier names his friends would've called him. "But yes, your name is very pretty!"

Cloud looked at Ria dreamily, admiring her moment of spacing out, he blushed a bit, realizing he had leaned a bit too close. "I would be happy to visit the library tomorrow, Fictoria." He smiled at her, "your name is so unique, I wish I was as lucky to have a remarkable name."

Lightning thought for a moment, blushing slightly, "Sure Ms. Black, that would be great." She wondered what they would get, and of course what they would talk about.

Cloud became more exited with every word, when the subject of the library came up, he nodded and spoke; " I was very young when my parents took me to see it, I haven't been back to Canterlot since my parents passed away. But a library is a library, I'm sure the one here is perfect in its own way."

(Lightning would be fine with this :3 )

Lightning shrugged, "all my friends were going to go to lunch with me but it seems like everyone has a date now." She sat down and crossed her legs, "other than that it's been pretty good, there's a party tonight, which sounds like fun."

As Ria went on Cloud became more and more interested; "character driven fantasy is my strong point, and yes romance novels are cheesy, I feel a little embarrassed when writing them but they make me laugh sometimes."

When Ria mentioned an opening at the library, Cloud smiled wider than before, "Really? That would be fantastic! Two authors running a library, is sound so... Perfect."

Cloud's eyes brightened up, "Really? That's amazing! I just moved into town, and I've been looking for a job, and was planning to apply at the library." When Ria mentioned publishing his smile widened; "You're an author as well? This is amazing! It looks like we share a very similar dream, I've been wanting to have my own book published since I was a little colt. I love writing and I would love to share what I write with other ponies." He looked at Fictoria with interest and admiration, "Well, what do you write? I prefer fantasy and romantic novels."

Cloud smiled at the twins; "would you two like to go to lunch with me? As friends of course" He smiled at Garnet.

Lightning rushed out of class to see that all her friends, who were going to go to lunch with her, had plans. "We'll, I suppose I could go to Chemistry and talk with Ms. Black" she used her wings to float down the hallway to the Chemistry room, and knocked on the door before entering, "Ms. Black, are you in here?"

Cloud sat down next to the mare, "we'll it's a pleasure to meet you Ria. This is actually my first time doing anything dance related. I only joined because a friend of mine insisted that it was a way to meet new ponies." He smiled at Fictoria, "I guess he was right after all. So Fictoria, what do you do?"

(Its lunch right now)

Cloud felt awkward; he had no prior dance knowledge, and he didnt even realize that most of the mares and stallions were paired up. It didnt look good, especially since he was there alone. He saw two mares chatting, and they had several tiny idiosyncrasies that made it obvious they were sisters. He trotted over and spoke to the one sister with a lovely green mane and tail.

"Hey there, would you mind if I sat down?" He asked politely, not wanted to make a bad first impression. "My Name is Cloud, and um.." He looked over to the other mares and stallions dancing, "I really have no clue what Im doing." He gave a sheepish smile and a little blush.

He was accepted ages ago, yus. I've never used the Mane RP, so this is a good chance for some experience

Appearance: Blue coat with a blonde mane and tail, he's fairly tall and mostly slim, without hearing his voice, you'd never guess he was male

Cutie mark: a dark cloud with a neon blue Lightning bolt coming from it!

Tiny back story: When Cloud was little both of his parents passed away, he's originally from Canterlot but moved to his aunt and uncle's house in Trottingham with his sister. He's currently a nurse with a passion for reading and writing. Cloud is extremely loyal to his friends, and loves being around ponies; if he's down, having someone with him will always cheer him up.
