(OOC: I'm going to be moving tomorrow so I won't be able to RP for a few day, sorry:( IC:)

Cloud wasn't listening, "No one is going to hurt them." He said to himself.

"I need to start carrying a suture kit with me," Cloud said then turned to Insanity, "We're lucky to have you here." Cloud went over to Echo, "Get some rest soldier, I'll keep watch tonight." Cloud murmured under his breath, "I guess I'm turning out just like you." He looked at Insanity, "I need you to keep him safe, okay? If things go bad, then you need to leave me behind and run."

"What?" Cloud walked over to Insanity, "Okay, okay. We can help him." Cloud pulled a lighter out of his satchel, "Here, can you get a fire going?" Cloud smiled, trying to hide his fear. He picked up Echo and brought him over next to the fire pit. "Okay, that's a pretty deep cut."

Cloud got suspicious, "Not much, just why we were here." Cloud noticed that Echo was now bandaged, "What happened to you?"

"Yeah, I thought you were some monster about to turn me into lunch." He smiled, "I like this outcome much better."

"I thought I found you and you fell on my head," Cloud joked.

Cloud turned to Insanity, "So what are you doing out here anyway? Its a little strange for anyone to be out here." He took a bite of the food and smiled, "That is, if you don't mind me asking."

Cloud thought for a moment, "Anything really, as long as it doesn't have pears in it."

Cloud laughed a bit, "Its like a sleeping bag but more comfortable."

Cloud was awake, but he remained still until he was sure the others were awake. He rolled over and saw the fire. After a yawn he spoke; "Good morning." He scratched his ear, "Did I hear someone mention breakfast?"

Cloud awoke to find himself chewing on his satchel, "Eww." He said quietly. He looked around and saw that the fire had died out overnight and Insanity was still sleeping. It wasn't until he had sat up that he realized how cold it was. He snuck over to the remaining embers and found they were still warm and after a few minutes he fell back to sleep.

Cloud was silent for a bit, "Sorry he discharged you." Cloud rolled over and tried to sleep, his back was to the fire. He knew he was about to fall asleep but he stayed awake, just trying to keep it together. Last time he got angry about his dad he ended up having to pay property damage. He hoped that Insanity was asleep so that she wouldn't have to deal with what ever emotions were happening around her. After about twenty minutes he fell asleep.

Cloud sighed, "Zephyr Shimmers," He finished the soup and put the knee guard down next to him. "Well that was good." He got past his annoyance of his father's name and looked up at the sky.

Cloud caught the claw and inspected it while mumbling to himself, "Knowing my luck I'd grapple onto a hornets nest. He put them in his satchel and proceeded to eat, "I guess you could say I'm from all over." Cloud ate the chunks from the soup first. He didn't even look at the fire, in all honesty he was trying to avoid looking at it. "Air force huh?" Cloud looked at Echo, "Supposedly my dad was in the air force."

Cloud smiled as he looked through the camp then sat down next to Insanity, "Don't worry about it," He knocked a hoof against his head, "If my head were any harder I could use it as a cannon ball." The smell of the stew reminded Cloud that he had been in the forest without much food, "Smells good!"

Cloud smiled as he heard his stomach growled, "That would be awesome!" He looked up at the tree, "Sorry for surprising you but I recognized you from a while ago." He flew up to it slowly as not to scare her, "I'm Cloud and this isn't the first time I've fallen out of a tree."

Inside his head Cloud was confused, "Okay then..." He turned to a pile of bushes, "Aren't you that one mare, Insanity? Come on out I'm not going to hurt you silly!" Cloud turned back to the other stallion, "Well I'm glad this was all one big misunderstanding, I'm Cloud and you are?"

Cloud picked up the twig and held it in a stance to defend myself, "Why don't you show yourself?" He then heard a rustling noise from a ways away. Cloud didn't feel threatened by the voice anymore, "I'm right here!" He called out, "Whats the problem?"

Cloud fell from a tree branch that wasn't as strong as it appeared, "What is wrong with all the trees here?"

Character Summary:

Cloud was born in canterlot to his loving mother, his father left before he was born but Cloud didn't care. After he finished his scholarly endeavors he traveled the world for inspiration. Cloud's never been happy in just one place and finds himself liking wherever he goes. According to his best friend Rhapsody he is good at giving advice but he has doubts of his own sometimes. Despite making jokes about "chatting up the mares" he really does care about anypony he wants to be with, However when he's got a crush he'll turn a bit shy.

When Cloud was in a foal he was invited to play a game with some friends, Cloud joined into the card game and one with a full house, and on his way home from his victory he stumbled across a sack with a hundred bits in it, he looked around to see if anyone had dropped it but the only other pony around was a cute filly from his class, he trotted over and asked if she would go on a date with him; upon her saying yes he received his cutie mark, a pair of dice! A couple of years after receiving his cutie mark, he discovered that it had a Dark Side to it. While he got happiness with his good luck he would feel sorrow with his bad luck.

When he was an older colt his family home burned down and he was left with nothing, he felt like it was his fault because of his luck. He was the only one to get out and he travels to avoid looking back on his past and running from any bad luck that could follow him.

On one of Cloud's adventures he spent some time with a traveling sword smith who taught him how to fight, even in a peaceful land like Equestria you still have to watch out for trouble.

As Cloud grew up he found himself writing in a journal, he wrote about all of the things he saw and was able to get his journal published. He is known as an adventurer and hopes that ponies of all ages enjoy his tales. Cloud's published works have given him more money than he really needs, but he donates a lot of it to charity, especially those for families who are homeless because of natural disasters(fires). Despite claiming to find new adventures, Cloud really travels so that his bad luck won't hurt anypony else.
