Warbrony

Echo stood tall. He turned to Cloud.

"I'll try to find Insanity." he said. "I'll be back for you."

Insanity's potion started to kick in as he flew up into the canopy. He turned back and forth looking for Insanity.

"Insanity!" he whispered loudly. "Where are you. I'm getting you out of here."

Echo's mind was racing. He hoped she was okay. He cut through the thick branches, frantically looking for Insanity.

Echo nodded. Then stepped towards Alpha.

"So when's the old girl coming." He asked mockingly. "You said she was gonna be here soon."

Echo flared his wings even more. Ignoring the sharp burning of the cuts he sustained.

Echo looked down from the trees to Cloud.

"She's not there. I think she got away. I hope she got away." Echo said.

He flared his wings as best he could. Adrenaline had helped him regain his energy and strength. His pain was eased by his intense focus. Alpha and the other soldiers came from the thicket. He gave Echo a cocky smile.

"Echo I hope you're in a talking mood." he said sharply. "Celestia is on her way to deal wih you. Should be here soon."

Echo stood with Cloud.

"Insanity!" He called out. "We need to stand together. We aren't fighting them."

Echo looked in the direction of his former colleagues and closed his eyes, taking multiple deep breaths.

"This is it." he turned to cloud. "When they come, I want you to leave."

Echo kept limping up to Cloud. He got face to face with him. Echo smiled.

"Great group aren't they?" Echo said with a chuckle.

Echo heard galloping behind him. He looked over to see Cloud.

"You!" he shouted. "I should kill you right here."

Echo got to his feet, though still extremely weak and drained, and started limping towards Cloud with a look of fury on his face. He had lost visual of Insanity, but decided to worry about it later.

Alpha and the other special forces soldiers regrouped. Alpha turned to Delta.

"Go get Celestia, Delta." he commanded. "We need to end this now."

(OOC: would one of you like to RP as Celestia?)(IC:)

Alpha grunted in frustration. He was shocked that Cloud was able to hold him. He managed to get out a few words. "Delta! Omega!" he shouted. Two pegasi grabbed Cloud. One by the throat, one by the legs. Beta walked over casually to the struggle. He grabbed Cloud's lighter then moved up to whisper into his ear. "So I'll always have something to remember you by." he said with a devious grin.

Echo turned slightly to Insanity. A tiny smile began to grow on his face.

"No. But it helps that you stayed with me." He said. He curled up to hide from the world. A tear fell from his eyes and hit the ground. He tried covering his cuts and gashes, but there were too many. He looked over at Insanity with tears in his eyes.

"A-are you g-gonna leave me too I-insanity?" he asked in a scared and soft voice.

Back with the soldiers, Alpha opened a bottle of champagne and offered glasses of it to Cloud and his men.

"We've been trying to get him for three years." He said to Cloud.

"But thanks to you two, we finally got him. He won't survive the night."

He built a small fire and sat down next to it.

Echo's jaw dropped. He went limp. He simply laid there.

Alpha put his wing around Cloud.

"Right this way my friend. Leave Echo behind."

All the ponies followed Alpha. Echo lied motionless on he ground.

Echo's eyes swelled with tears.

"I really gotta say this." he said with a quiver in his voice. "A few years back, I called these stallions my squad-mates. We went on operations and missions that you never dream of. We're the best the military has to offer."

Echo took a deep breath to try to get himself through the revelation.

"I was kicked out because I refused to kidnap a civilian in ponyville. I also refused to bow to Celestia. They booted me out and I came back here. I've been here ever since."

Alpha jumped into Echo's sentence. "And we've been hunting you ever since."

The leader paced back and forth.

"I'm Alpha. Commander of the Equestrian special forces." he said. "I think ol Echo can explain his just fine."

Alpha shook Echo awake. Echo seemed dazed. He was in excruciating pain. "What's goin on?" he asked as he looked around. "Cloud? I told you to run. These guys will kill you."

The leader smiled. He looked down at Echo.

"I like you." He said. "No one else needs to be hurt. I'm sure Echo here will be happy to explain this when he wakes up. Have a seat."

He looks back at the unicorn.

"Beta, give the boy his lighter back."

Beta, the unicorn, pulled out the lighter and tossed it to Cloud.

"Sit right there." Beta commanded. "where's the other one we saw at the camp?"

The unicorn backed off. But the leader walked forward.

"Do you know who we are?"

What little energy Echo had was spent on shaking his head at Cloud. He fell off the attacker's back, completely limp.

"Why should we listen to you, kid?" The ring leader asked with a scoff. He nodded at the two others to his left and right. They took off into the sky.

A stocky unicorn stepped out from the group.

"In case you didn't notice." He said. "We have you surrounded and outnumbered. You can't win, boy!"

(OOC: Okay. I'll be RPing as the villains. And I apologize for my arrogance. )(IC:)

The ring leader of the attacking ponies stopped the group. "Fan out and form a perimeter." he said "If the other two come by, do what you need to."

(OOC: Sorry, should have mentioned, Echo was an air force soldier and trained to see hiding ponies. )IC:)

Echo started to pass out. Feeling light-headed. His wounds were beginning to give him pain.

"This is what I get for wanting an exciting day." Echo thought to himself and smiled.

Echo was being carried by the ponies. They passed by a strange bush he noticed Insanity jump into. As they passed, he whispered to her.

"Don't do it." he said softly. "Just follow."

Echo lazily opened his eyes and saw Cloud lying unconcious on the ground. He felt something sharp run up his back.

"Too bad for them they met you." A familiar voice said.

Echo looked up at his attacker. Just as he cought sight of him, A rather large hoof hit him square in the face. He was heavily disoriented.

"So Celestia really wasn't a fan of me was she." Echo said to the voice. "She still has you running around after me."

Suddenly, one of the mysterious ponies swept in and grabbed him, carrying him to the thickest parts of the forest.

"Run! Both of you!" He shouted to his friends. hoping they would hear him.

Echo tossed and turned on his bedroll. Every so often he let out a deep groan. His mind filled with worry for his two friends who may be drug into his problem. He worried for Cloud who could be the first to be attacked. He worried for Insanity, who didn't seem like she could put up enough of a fight to deal with these foes. He hoped they would leave him I the marauders returned.

Warbrony was what my other brony friend called me at school since I'm so passionate about the military. It stuck with me and soon a couple other bronies addressed me as Warbrony. I also thought it was a good play on words with Warhorse.....only with ponies. And I'm a brony. So yeah.

Discord. Just cause his sarcastic attitude cracks me up.

Count me in. Maybe this will give me an excuse to play silent hill.

Echo tried to stay awake, but he was completely drained of all his energy. He slowly passed out as Cloud stood watch over the two sleeping ponies.
