    ((Oh hell, Tapatalk broke on me, I am so sorry :/))

    Aurora had to stifle a giggle at the sight of the other pony, who had eaten the sandwich AND the salad by now. She heard the waiter say something angrily- something like "Those were for the OTHER customers, sir"- and Aurora jumped up hastily, trying to keep the peace. "Erm, sir? Ah, we have the money- I'll just pay you and we can go back to our lunch please?". The waiter gave her a dirty look, but couldn't say no at the prospect of some easy money. He grunted and held out a hoof. "You'd better pay double then, missy".

    As Aurora dealt out the money, and the waiter trotted away, she swore she heard the waiter say something like "Damn kids". Aurora had to smile. It was really funny how bad the waiter was.

    ((This is an RP that Therainbowtroll and I have planned out, but anyone's welcome to join for now :)))

    Ditzy "Derpy Hooves" Doo trudged along the path from Ponyville to Canterlot, her hooves wearing against the rough ground. It was a really long way to Canterlot, and Derpy was real tired, but she couldn't stop, because she had an incredibly important letter to deliver to Canterlot! It wasn't often that she got such a special job, so she was determined to do it right. Unfortunately, because she couldn't fly that well, she'd had to walk the whole way- but now, after hours and hours of walking, Canterlot was in sight! She got ready, looking in her mailbag for her lette- wait. Where was her mailbag? It was missing! All her letters and her precious mailbag were gone! And now her nice, fun job to Canterlot was ruined! For the first time ever, she had messed up on the job- and it wasn't even because of her clumsiness.

    Ditzy sat down, and waited for a pony to pass that could maybe help her.

    Actually. Skye mentioned steam. That makes me wonder if maybe they have developed the trains seen in 'over a barrel'. They wouldn't need them for personal transport but if they're working with all kinds of metal and ore they need to transport it somehow. Perhaps the train seen is a copy off the griffin one but without full understanding the Ponies could only pull the engine.

    Interesting- that would be pretty good for an RP or storyline forwarder.

    Also, regarding Twilight using her horn while floppy...I don't recall it being a big point, so perhaps she can still use her magic, but her horn being floppy and icky isn't exactly desireable. After all, Pinkie could still talk (Sorta) with her tongue hanging out and Rainbow could still fly, just not very well! So maybe simple spells for Twilight would work, but if she'd tried anything more complex, she could have ended up turning Fluttershy into a tree.

    And I doubt Twilight could do even simple spells with a horn like that.

    Hmm... Do griffins have more advanced technology than ponies? Thinking through the money idea, I thought that griffins had no magic, and so they would have to turn out the money through machinery. Are they that much more advanced than ponies?
