As you may or may not know, I bought a new server and moved the board across. Things seem better now.

I tried saving the file with a different encoder and that didn't help, but if it worked for you, its probably a problem on my end. I'll have to investigate more tomorrow.

We're aware of the problem with gallery and image uploads above 130kb(ish).

We've taken the gallery down temporarily till we get the bottom of the errors generated, however, be advised this error is also affecting thread image uploads/attachments also.

on the reply box (be quick reply or full) when emoticons are shown, there is no way to change between "pages" to choose, making the "show all" link/window the only option to pick from all of them.

Well, it's more annoying when I can't send a message to someone because they wont delete their own. I can delete my own, but I can't delete someone elses.

There's no official female version of 'brony' recognised by canterlot.com or Hasbro. Bronita is also not considered an 'accepted term' by either parties.

We're currently writing a list of rules for the community gallery. We've had some discussion about this today and the Gallery moderators and I have agreed to not allow non-pony items on the gallery. The complete list of rules should be up soon.

To sum up though...

You can post your own artwork depicting official or your own made up characters from any generation of My Little Pony.

The galleries will be cleaned up soon to reflect the new rules/guidelines we're building.

Ok, just watched the episode.

Can't help feeling I've just watched an episode of Star Trek.

With John De Lancie voicing, and even the mannerisms and character traits of Discord are all... Q.

This isn't to say I didn't like it. I'm assuming it's simply perhaps another nod to the more mature/nerdier audience member.

Other observations:

* Different camera angles are being used in this episodes. Looks like Animators are experimenting more.

* Some CGI-ish effects used, like the pan from left to right of Discord in the window. The in-set window and the wall surrounding it rotated with the camera panning in a more 3D style.

My prediction for ep2:

Rainbow dash has been deliberately sent away as a plot mechanism. Something will happen to Twilight then RD will have a revelation (or knock to the head or something) and come back to save the day.

I've a sneaky feeling that Luna won't even play a part in any of this story arc.

Ok, I'll start the show with a vegetable curry. This recipe's passed down throughout my family.

Follow the easy to follow instructions and you too can create the stunning meal for one shown below. Check the Spoiler below!

Below is the SECRET recipe.

First, pierce the film lid several times.

Next, pop the raw uncooked ingredients into the oven of your choice. Students will be familiar with the type of oven I like to use.

In total, I'm going to cook this for 5 minutes. Start by cooking for half that time.

When done, peel back the film lid and give the ingredients a stir. After, pop it back into the oven for another 2 and half minutes.

Voilà!

There's VERY little we can do without such information. It's the first thing and webhosting company will ask for.

Note: DO NOT use a website offering tracert. It needs to come from YOUR connection, not someone elses. This is because only relatively few people are experiencing this.

Instructions:

Go to your command prompt.

(either Start > Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt or in windows vista/7 simply type cmd in the start > search-bar)

At the command prompt please type: tracert canterlot.com

Wait till it's done.

Copy and paste me a copy of the results (right click in command prompt then ctrl+c). You can use a PM if you want.

Only send me information collected during a timeout or a 5+ second lag. If the results aren't showing significant slow-downs it's pretty useless.

In the mean time, it's been reported that these 'spikes' only last a few mins or so. If it feels longer, don't forget that a watched pot never boils... so go make a cup of tea and come back in a few mins.

Don't worry about it ponies.

The facts:

* NO ONE else can see your 'warn status' besides yourself and Staff.

* You don't need to keep checking it, a little 'progress bar' will increase under the words 'Warn Status' if any notes have been added.

* You would have been contacted by a member of staff in some fashion about whatever it is you goofed on if you had a warning.
