The best way to use the formatting options is to type what you want to say and then highlight the text you want to change and then click Italics/Bold/etc.

To remove any formatting from text, select/highlight text and click the eraser button.

Hover your mouse over the link and check your browser is suggesting it travels to 'www.canterlot.com' and no where else.

If it is pointing back to canterlot.com, then there is simply a problem with your browser.

If it states otherwise and is trying to take you else where, please provide details such as where the link it attempting to take you. (This will also mean there's a problem with your browser)

To note: There are certain types of 'extensions' or browser add-ons that can change things like links to go via an ad etc. This can be considered a trojan but won't be picked up by your antivirus because you voluntarily installed and a link-change is considered very minor.

As you can see, the artists are credited on each page and it's nice to see the art without the logo splash over them.

There will be a lot of changes from here on, which I'm sure you'll all be eager to be involved with and embrace as they arrive and are developed.

Changes to policies and rules will be announced so you can head to the areas containing the rules to have a quick refresher, so don't worry about the rug from slipping out from underneath you.

Canterlot.com may (possibly) have a small amount of down-time during a server-change mid next week.

For the nerdy of us the downtime will likely be whilst the domain's DNS entries are updated.

This can take up to 48 hours, but also as short as a couple of hours.

During any downtime, you can still access the chat using your own IRC client. Details and information can be found here.

The most significant change will be your new site administrators, Dio & Rosewind who were our senior moderators previously.

Please allow them patience and the time to adjust to their new roles.

The Chat client is Flash based. You'll need to use a browser that supports Flash.

When you register your nickname with the IRC server (type '/msg nickserv help' for info) you can put your password into the password field mentioned in MiRC to automatically identify with the server every time you connect.
