  1. Twilight, pleased to see her brother, blinked away her tears. "It's just . . . my . . ."

Spike interrupted, "Twilight messed up some time spell and turned them all into fillies. And something's wrong with them, 'cause nopony's been acting normal. All Twilight's crying about is some doll she lost."

At the mention of the word "doll," Twilight sniffled.

Pulling Shining Armor and Cadance aside, Spike whispered, "We need to change them back fast. They're acting like . . . fillies, and I think something bad's gonna happen."

  2. (Um . . . who's behind the door?)

Twilight, still bawling her eyes out, looked up as the banging on the door continued. "SOMEPONY GET THE DOOR!" she squeaked. Spike, who had been awkwardly soothing the new filly (and trying not to laugh) headed towards the foor and pulled it open.

  3. Hmm . . . I have several OCs which I could use.

I think I'll go with Dawnfire, as she's the oldest (creation-wise). She is a mare, but good writers should be able to write as either gender. Besides, she'll be a lot of fun. :)

Name: Dawnfire, or Dawn for short

    Gender: Mare

    Species: Pegasus

Description/cutie mark: Dawn is fiery and stubborn. She can be sarcastic and rude at times, but she's never afraid to speak her feelings and will always fight for what's right. She has no respect for ponies who are pretentious or snobbish. Her main occupation is being an intercity courier, but she is a very talented artist and spends much of her free time painting or writing poetry. Her first paiting, Ode to the Sunrise, actually led to her cutie mark, a rising sun.

If there are too many mares and not enough stallions, I'll be happy to switch to one of my male OCs.

  4. "Applejack! Rainbow Dash! Calm down!" squeaked Twilight. "We need to find a way to reverse this, soon! Our minds are starting to regress to their filly states. We must do everything in our power to try and keep hold of our brains!"

Just then Spike returned from upstairs. "Sorry, Twilight. I looked everywhere, but I couldn't find Smatry Pants. I think you must have lost her back in the "want-it need-it" thing.

Twilight was shocked. "NO SMARTY PANTS?" she bawled. "But- but- noooo!" she fell down on the floor and started crying.

  5. Twilight gave a very high-pitched squeak as Rainbow Dash raced towards her, and ducked out of the way of the cyan maniac. "Rainbow! Watch out! You're going to mess up my books!"

She was rather worried. If Rainbow was acting like this, then probably the others would start to too. It seemed as if being fillies was reverting their minds to a less mature state.

She had to reverse the spell. But she needed soemthing first.

    "SPIKE! Go find Smarty Pants!"

  6. Twilight looked down at herself. "Spike . . . did you have a big growth spurt while you were in the other room?" The baby dragon shook his head.

She suddenly saw with horror that her cutie mark had vanished. "Where'd it go?" she asked aloud. Then she looked at the tiny, hyperactive ponies running around the room. "Oh no. If we're all small and we don't have our cutie marks . . ."

She heard Applejack's question seconds before she was about to say the answer. 'We've all been turned into fillies!"

  7. (It is a great tragedy to have lost these six wonderful mares . . .)

Twilight opened her eyes slowly. Her head was killing her. Rubbing it with her hoof, she looked around the room, trying to see what damage, if any, the spell had caused. There didn't seem to be much wrong- Rainbow and Rarity were still passed out, but everyone else was fine. Pinkie's hair seemed a bit large- was that because of the spell?

As Twilight stood up, she noticed something odd about the room. It was a different . . . scale. Everything was bigger. She blinked her eyes, but still saw it.

At that moment Spike bustled in. "Gee Twilight, that was some spell? DId it-"

He stared at Twilight, or specifically straight at her, because their eyes were now at the same level.

  8. Twilight took a deep breath. "Okay. Spike? Can you put these books away?" Spike gathered the books and trundled off to the other room.

"Here goes," Twilgiht murmured. She stared at the plant and concentrated all of her magic at it. A glowing orb sparked from her horn. She concentrated on the plant growing. Growth . . . seed to giant fern. Shutting her eyes, she forced out as much magic as she could manage. The room began to glow. The plant moved.

    "I think it's-"

The purple glow enveloped the room, and there was a blinding flash of light.

  9. "Hey now!" said Twilight. "I promise nothing will go wrong. And there's no way it'll cause any real physical damage." She paused. "At least, I hope not."

"And I never specifically said you were going to be the guinea pigs, although I think if it works, you'll want to try it out."

She levitated the thickest book in front of her, and began, "I was going through an old spellbook by one of the Starswirl the Bearded's apprentices. You wouldn't beleive the magic they had then! Full etheral manipulation charms, a sonic ranging sensing spell, alchemic triple inversions . . ."

Spike was giving her the "no one knows or care what you're talking about" look.

BLushing, she cut her sentence short. "Anyway, I found a time spell. It's not a travelling spell, like the one in the archives. It's more like a . . . manipulation spell. It should enable me to accelerate or reverse the effects of time on specific, which could be very helpful. Like Applejack, you could grow apples in a day, and Pinkie, you could make treats three times faster than you would normally."

"But before I try it on a living, breathing pony, I want to use a less . . . vulnerable test subject." She levitated a small potted plant into the room. "I'm going to try to make it grow five years in five seconds. Are you ready?"

  10. At this moment Twilight bustled in, levitating several books. "Oh hi girls, I didn't hear you come in! You really should all get coordinated and put together a schedule so I know exactly when you get here!"

She hurriedly deposited the books on a desk, and started lfipping through them. "SPIKE! Where's the parchment and ink?"

Spike, who had been fawning at Rarity from behnd the door, grumbled, "I'm coming," and walked in. Twilight made a few more notes on the parchment, then turned back to her puzzled friends.

"Now I imagine you're all wondering why I've gathered you here," she began. "I've found out about a very powerful spell, and I want to try it out. Don't worry, this won't go wrong like some of my other attempts. I think we better wait until Fluttershy gets here, but I'll be getting it ready."

  11. Sorry to leave you out of all this, Hallow, good to know you're with us.

I didn't intend on anything too . . . well, 18+, but if you want to do that, that's OK.

I guess I'll get started with Judgement plotting his evil plans and rounding up changelings.

What should I call it? "Judgement Day" is rather obvious, but it would probably work. If we come up with a better one, I'll change it.

Okay! About to get started on "Judgement Day", in the 18+ free roleplay section!

  12. This guy looks very cool, and I like the idea of a bodyguard that's not just brawns. However, the personality seems a bit vague (no offense) he's lazy, but also determined? ("when he sets his mind to something")The character's very good, just maybe flesh out his personality a bit more?

  13. Thanks for all your help! I'd copied the application code wholesale, hence the color and stuff, guess it didn't work too well. I've also sharpened up a few of the details you mentioned.

Again, thank you for your very helpful review.

  14. OK, no post order fine, as long as we don't have any DPing. I'll start the thread (I haven't got any others right now).

Perhap's Chrysalis's stallion could be NPC? But if not, I might be able to play him, if you want. I guess he'd have a seperate post from Dawn's. You'd have to describe him more, though.

As for Judgement, who wants to play him? I'm willing to play either Judgement or the stallion (but i can't do both, obviously). Of course, I'd like to keep this RP to a few people, but maybe we should try to find someone who can play him in particular?

  15. I've been having issues with editing some of my posts. When I try to edit them, the toolbar for the various features (color, italics, etc.) is missing, and the text is filled with incomprehensible code instead. I can barely find the text I'm actually trying to edit. It even needs code for the "enter" key. I can't find the "full editor" option or whatever it's called, where you can change everything, even the title.

In fact, as I type this, I can't see any of the toolbars.

What am I doing wrong, and how can I fix it?

I'm sorry if this is a trivial concern, but it's a problem for my posting.

  16. Welcome aboard Hallow! You've won the last space (unless someone makes a really good appeal).

So Judgement arrives and starts a big battle. Cool. It can be at a wedding, I guess, but who's the stallion?

I guess we'll all just have to play Judgement on our turns, because Chrysalis will want to play, um, Chrysalis, unless she's willing to be Judgement at the same time or something. Whatever.

As for posting order, I don't care where I'm put, really.

  17. Well, that sounds pretty interesting. I'm not sure about the circumstances you've set up, but I'm okay with Judgement if you and CrimsonNova are. Would we have to get someone specifically to play Judgement, or would he just be an NPC controlled by each of us in our respective turns?

  18. I'm afraid I don't quite understand your idea.

We might end up inventing a new villain (which would be fine in its own right), but what if we re-used one? Your villain sounds like kinda like the return of Nightmare Moon, although we'd have to figure out why Luna turned evil again. Or maybe Discord gets free again, although that's probably been done a lot. Or what if the changelings, who have not reformed like Chrysalis has, try to take over Equestria without her?

I dunno. just putting out some ideas.
