1. "Well, that was interesting. Thanks for sharing, little one. Hmm... guess Swifton was right. It's easier to speak to ponies if I act coy and unabashed. Maybe it's inappropriate, but might I ask what you two are good at? I think it'd be nice to know what kind of pon-ah... beings, our gracious hosts were."

  2. Have either of you heard of the awkward game? I invented it. It's like truth or dare, only there's no dare. You just ask questions. the catch is, it's at your own discretion when it comes to what questions to ask, and the game is over when the second to last person refuses to answer. Bet I scored a hit with that one.

  3. "If I make a name for myself, now would be the time, huh? Knew I'd have to start talking eventually. I'm Falcon Dusk, and I guess I'm nothing special. My cutie mark stands as a symbol for my spontaneity and light-heartedness under abrupt or startling situations, good or bad. So that's-uh... it. I'm not much for talking, or... you know."

  4. Falcon Dusk shook his head and cursed, just a little, before realizing he miiight not be where he thought he was. Maybe he died from falling down a hill... or hit his head on a stump? He just tripped, right? He WAS in the forest at the time, but there the heck was he now? After his head trauma subsided he heard voices a little ways away, asking "Now what's all of your names?" looked like there were some ponies over there. Suppose he should ask them about it, huh? "Blast. I hate talking..." He stood himself up and cracked his neck a little, then trotted over to the gathering.

  5. "Of course you did. You clearly were somepony who excelled in a trade that required significant thought processes, quick reflexes, multitasking, working under pressure and/or spontaneity. In other words, you were chosen because you were good at what you did. So, the way out is through a series of test chambers, each of which is challenging and advanced for your skill level. So, if you want out, get testing! This chamber may need some explanation, though. I'll go through it quickly; allyouneedtodoissecureacubeusingthebuttononthefloorandthenplacethecubeintoaportaltoknocktheturretofftheledgeandontoanotherbuttonopeningthedoortothenextchamber.

The last subject broke the door, so just walk through without worrying about an emancipation grid. But don't take anything..."

  6. "The written word, it's a powerful thing. But you must always be careful with words, Meggie; elseways you'll get lost in them and never find your way back." - Mortimer Folchart, Inkheart

"Mortimer, be quick, be clear or I swear I'll disinherit you." - Elinor Folchart, Inkheart

"What's that sticky stuff called?" "Duct tape, sir?" "Ahh, duct tape, I love duct tape!" - Capricorn, Inkheart

  7. Maybe she's one of those rich people that prefers a simple life rather than a huge lonely house as a status symbol.

I don't think so (no offense to Rarity). She repeats herself many times in the series about how she would give (just about) anything to reside in Canterlot. Remember the Grand Galloping Gala? She went nuts over that! Also, when she was living in Canterlot for a short while she was making every excuse to stay longer, almost missing Twilight's birthday! (What am I, advertising the episode or something?)
