  1. oh yeah and us pegasisters don't have it any easier. For whatever reason, even in a world where Hello Kitty and Disney Princesses reign supreme, you mention MLP and you get stares, eye rolls, even shunned*

*these are reactions from non-nerds, mind you. Rather, girls who like to call themselves nerds because they know who R2-D2 is and they think it's cute to pull out that kind of 'trivia'.

ooh that sounded bitter, sorry

Every fandom goes through this kind of discrimination, but bronies are a new breed because they're breaking one of the biggest social stigmas in American society: gender association. It's pink, it's got ponies, it's for girls under the age of 7. Whaaa? Grown men watch this? DEVIANCE!!!

Bronies, I tip my bow to you, for your courage and pride in supporting something that you believe is of genuine worth, despite its candy colored packaging(or perhaps partly because of its candy colored packaging ;) )

  4. Hi, welcome to Canterlot. :)

If your question is about the Gallery, it tells you when you go to upload not to upload anything from the Pony Creator. It's not that whether it's copyrighted material or not, it's that it's not real art. (For the originally artists it would be, sure.)

oh thanks for answering, I just wanted to make sure my prof pic wasn't going to get me in trouble.

How I became a fan of MLP:FiM: when I lived stateside, I watched Saturday morning cartoons. I think I caught the pilot episode when it aired. Been hooked ever since.
