He blinked as he was a little confused. The question was a little random. "Cookies?"

He blushed at her comment and kissed her back lovingly.

He chuckled softly. "Yes my mistake."

>Dopple walking through Equinia. After a few days of waiting around Dopple decided that it was time that he start being useful again. He retrieved Replica from her "foal sitters" and was quite greatful that the Griffons took such good care of her. He got word from Applejack that Twilight would be returning to Equinia today so he did not hesitate to meet with her. There were a lot of things he needed to discuss with her "Papa..." Was all his filly said as she woke up from her nap. She was secured nicely to his back so she had no trouble falling asleep. "Where are we going?" He smiled to himself hearing his daughter talk. After he picked her up from the Griffons she seemed to much more of a spirited child then she used to be. Something that made Dopple very happy. "Well little one..we are going to see a very important pony..Daddy has a lot of things he needs to talk about with her, and i'm sure she'll be happy to see you. Were not there yet so why don't you back to sleep." Replica nodded softly as she snuggled into his back and quickly went back to sleep. Dopple didn't like lying to his daughter, but he honestly did not know how this meeting would go. He was sure Twilight was informed on the attack on the Hive so that wouldn't be any suprising news. It pained Dopple that he still had no word from his Queen, but he wouldn't give up hope. He tried to keep his mind off of that as he made his way to where Twilight should be later in the day..Hopefully this will go well.

Well we need to start up again before you join. But yes if you join your character will get in the comic....eventually

He kisses her forehead. "You shouldn't have such dreams."

He sighed as he pulled her back onto him. "Do not worry..it was just a dream."

"So...what did I do?" He asked nonchalantly. She obviously had a nightmare.

(really ) Dopple noticed that Dusk started to look uncomfortable.

He looked at his marefriend she was clearly dreaming.

He could not sleep. But seeing how peaceful Dusk was seemed to bring a smile to his face.

He held her close as she held onto him. It was a warm feeling, but his mind was on other things.

"Yeah..." Was all he could say.

"Hehe you act like this is something you would actually have to think about." He chuckled at the mares reaction. "Listen, Dusk I know you love me..you don't have to act like your love for Broad Sword is gone. I'm not a child....I would somehow get over it I guess..."

"Dusk...we both know what would happen. You don't need to tell me a foal's tale that you'd stay with me if it were to happen. All that matters is that you would be happy...no matter how I would feel." He said that like a knife was in his chest. It certainly disappointing to think how quickly his world could come crashing down on him.

Her silence was all he needed to hear. He didn't feel bad, but the idea of that happening hurt him...a lot.

"I know he can't...but it's all I can think about..I don't deserve this...you don't have to lie either...I know you would do anything to have him back it's only natural. I...I feel horrible because I would be destroyed if he came back...it would be horrible for me...you would be happy to have your husband back...and I would be alone again.." He sighed.

"I just wonder...it's stupid I know..but I can't help to think that if he came back...where would I be..."

"If..." He took a deep breath but he had to ask, he just hoped he would not get the answer he feared. "If..he were to come back...you'd leave me wouldn't you..."

He smiled warmly, but it started to fade. "C-can I ask something...." This was on his mind for a while it was a touchy subject but he had to know.

He was to busy snuggling her to worry. "This isn't something to worry about my love. I've been in pain my whole life..the day you took me in made it all go away... I'm just happy you care."

He kisses her forehead. "I know I cannot just go out there..but sweet heart it will be even worse if I am caught in a lie...for once I'd like to...just be me." He whispered the last part.

"As long as I want." He smiled. "The thing is...I don't really think hiding is a good idea."

"Maybe your right..but I am a changeling after all...I could never get a job like that." He rested his chin on her head as he held her close.
