He smiled at her. He trotted up to his mare friend and nuzzled her. "It's hard to keep my head when im doing these things...you help though"

"It depends." He covers her in a blanket. "I'll get a better look at her condition when she wakes up. The fresh air will clear out her lungs, and her fever should break." He let out a sigh, it has been a while since he had to do this.

Hows everybody doin?

"Yes Yes right away!"

"Shhhh it's ok I will help her no tears please." He smiled at Morning as he gave he his toy. He feels her forehead. "Ok..a slight fever."

Dopple looked at the situation and burst into action. Beside being a soldier his position in the hive would be one of much importance now. Combat Medic. "Everypony give her room. Lightning open all the windows and doors in this room we need as much fresh air as we can get! Honey i need you to get blankets, ice, and water, also take Morning upstairs were gonna need the couch." After finishing his orders he turned to David while feeling the mares neck. "Ok pulse...good! How long was she in the smoke?." He didn't care if the pony was gonna freak that he was a changeling he'd deal with that later.

"This child is an Alicorn. Which means there is a chance that he is related to the Princesses." He shuddered at the thought of the mares he hates. "There must be somepony looking for this colt...the Princesses themselves even!" He frowned at the next part. "I am clearly wanted for my crimes. If seen here I will be taken in and you may be as well for my presence here." He caresses her cheek with his hoof. "I cannot allow that."

"My dear. I don't think I should stay here...it's not safe for you."

Dopple quickly chimed in. "Umm child can you give me and Dusk here a moment alone? There's something we need to discuss. It will not be long"

He looks at the two ponies confused as to whats happening.

Dopple finishes putting Morning to bed brfore walking up to Dusk. "What's this about dear?"

Dopple blinked watching Morning play. He let out a soft giggle watching the child tucker himself out. He walked quietly to the child and picked him up by the scruff softly with his teeth. It may sound painful since he had fangs, but he was very careful. He took the child of the stares and laid him on the couch and covered him with a warm blanket that was laying nearby making sure that the strange stuffed toy remained with him at all times.

He smiled at the boy. "No apologies needed child I may have overreacted and you are quite talented." He smiles.

Dopple followed her out of the kitchen with a goofy smile on his face. He stayed close to the mare as she addressed the colts

He let out a sigh of happiness as well as his new marefriend nuzzled into him. He has never been this happy in his life and could not believe it was real.

"Better?" He looked at the beautiful mare happy she was finally smiling.

He smiled as she held onto him. He nuzzled her lovingly waiting for her to stop crying. He would comfort her as much as he could until she was ready to stop.

"Shhhh no more tears. I am here and....I love you too." He decided that he should say this as well

"O-ok...but how could you love me.." He was hugging her tight. He was still confused on how she had fallen in love with him.

His eyes widened as she kissed him but eventually they closed with pleasure. The tears eventually stopped but his face was still soaked.

He was crying and he was crying hard. no matter how angry she was she must've seen how upset he was. His past has devastated him it's almost like he hates himself more than anything in the world. He quickly let go, his eyes that she loved so much were full of tears and sorrow. "I-I need t-to l-l-leave

"I-I was tasked with getting rid of the military. I recognized him from the picture.....I see him. Every. Single. Night." He was almost sobbing. "I h hate myself for what I did please forgive me I know it's very silly of me to ask but I regret it every day and I need you to know I am very sorry! I wish I was dead rather than him!"

He stood there looking at the crying mare. He got up softly and before she noticed he hugged. He held her as close to him as possible. "I've wanted to die since the wedding..." He admitted quickly. She could now feel his tears. "..The nightmares are unbearable...if you would've taken me to the Princesses for my death. I would'nt have fought you. The fact that I am resonsible for ruining your life... I took away the only pony that made you happy. I cannot live with that on my conscience....U will never forgive me...I won't either..."

"Well if that's all you have to sa-" He quickly stopped himself and his eyes widened. He was expecting her to yell, scream, curse, even cry. Never did he think she would say this. His jaw hung open as his face was a burning green. "Ex-excuse me?"

He quickly wipes it away. "I am seen as a creature of no emotion by your people. Treat me like the heartless monster that I am seen as. Tell me how horrible I am for what my people did to hurt you so..." She needed to get this off her chest. It must've been torture for her to have him here when she has all this bottled up ager toward him. "No need to spare my feelings Dusk, I don't have any remember so go ahead and say everything that you need to say." He looked at her bracing for what was to come. He didn't want her to do it, but she had to.
