"No no it's perfectly fine. Just not used to it...." He looked back at his plate as he ate. "I can't be him Dusk....." He said flatly.

He looked at the food before him and ate slowly. Eating actual food was fairly new to him. He looked up at Dusk while he ate.

Dopple cursed in his mind for saying that out loud. "Uhh nothing."

He frowned seeing her retract so quickly. This only left Dopple confused as to what Dusk really wanted. "Some things never change." He mumbled.

Dopple smiled softly as she got cozy. He decided to drape his wing over her like a blanket.

He was busy glaring at lightning to notice her walk up to him. He was confused when he felt something brush against him. His eyes widened when he saw Dusk leaning against him. He was also blushing madly.

He looked at what the Alicorn did. "I suppose, but I've seen much better beauty." He knew exactly what or in this case who he was referring to. He wondered if she got the hint.

"Yes but it's very rude to do such spells when other's are resting. It's very rude especially since you are a guest." He scolded the child, sort of like a father figure the alicorn was old enough to know better than what he did.

He groaned at the kid "You shouldn't practice spells on your own child!" He was more annoyed then angry he had things he needed to discuss with Dusk and this wasn't something he was looking to deal with.

Dopple changed back quickly and grumbled as he went down the stairs as well to see what was happening.

His eyes widened as the mare kissed him. His surprise turned to pleasure for a few seconds. He quickly came to his senses as he pulled away from the mare. "W-why?"

He let out a sigh..."I can never replace him..."

"Is something the matter?" He noticed her expression changed.

He smiled happily. "I'm sure if they needed you they would come get you anyway....so where were we?"

He gave a small smile. "orrrr we can pretend were still asleep and go down when we want to." he gave a small laugh. "Besides I don't think it's the foal so why ruin..whatever this is.." He looked at the mare.

He frowned "Do we...have to?" He knew it was a silly question but he liked being alone..with her.

What did that mean? "Uh..well why not? You've been so nice to me"

"Shhh no more tears..it's ok..." He let out a sigh at the next part "I'm here."

He blushed again as he hugged her back. "My people killed your husband.....another nightmare." He whispered this. He dreamed of countless ponies that his race killed. He was sure he would see Broad Sword in his next terror.

"Did your race literally throw you out?....my life is gone..." He breathed heavy it all started to sink in what happened.

"I...well..what i've done...I have to relive it...every. Single. Night." She could see now that his eyes are very baggy and he looked very sleep deprived. "I thought maybe we could change our ways..I was wrong."
