  1. Shalidor looked up at the name. "I know that name...." He said darkly.
  2. The Golden Age has come to an abrupt end. A nuclear war had struck the land, which was now a wasteland. Dischord may have left, but Chaos did not. Chaos looked about his handiwork with pride. With Equestria in ruin, he could now build his empire, and rule as he saw fit. The first thing he did was attempt to wipe out survivors. Mandaline, however, thought different. She and a few other people that remained joined together to end the delusion of Chaos. Through a series of battles, a war was fought. Now, your mission is to help Mandaline end this war. Mandaline ran towards a concrete barrier, a SMAW in her arms. "Someone give me cover so I can blow these clankers to holy hell!!" She shouted.
  3. Shalidor randomly conjured a bottle of vodka, and two glasses. He poured himself some, and took a sip. He then conjured a lime, squeezing the juice into the vodka.
  4. Mandaline cracks her neck a bit after standing up, and says "My army will arrive....now." As she spoke, a massive quantity of modified Terminators appeared, marching towards the objective.
  5. Mandaline lands with her armor lock activated. After a couple seconds, her armor starts to change, plates shifting here and there. Eventually a minigun popped out of the shoulder, and other weapons were within view on her armor.
  6. "They are." Manaline says, jumping after Shalidor.
  7. Shalidor looked down. He then jumped from the chopper, diving for the ground before landing on his feet. "Showoff!!" Mandaline called.
  8. Shalidor nodded darkly. "I am." He said simply. Mandaline picked up the medic tool, and Attatched a flamethrower to it instead of the minigun. "You never told me you'd help, bro!" "I did. I forget you don't check your mail..."
  9. Shalidor caught the lie as soon as it was spoken, but did not say anything. He merely smiled, and sat back down after walking around a bit.
  10. Shalidor squinted in a look of suspicion. "Don't gloat at me. Do that to someone who needs it." Mandaline looked at Shalidor angrily and said "Don't be rude!"
  11. "Not by you. By Celestia. I protect the entire country." Shalidor then noticed Brown Bat's sad tone. "Does something trouble you, friend?"
  12. Shalidor only gave a gruff "hmph" at the sound of that. It didn't help that he could read minds, and was resisting the urge to read Bat's. "I am a Guardian. Protection is what I am paid to give."
  13. Shalidor looked at Echo and said "You are the partner she speaks of so often?" Mandaline blushed a bit, and said "Yes he is!"
  14. As they spoke a large hooded figure landed on the chopper carrying a large scythe. He wore black robes, and his hands were almost skeletal. "Sis, what are you up to now? And why the hell are you in a juggernaut suit?"
  15. Shalidor looked around, his sword clanking at his side. " I hope my being armed to the teeth does not bother you."
  16. As they spoke, a black figure could be seen flying towers them. "Speaking of my brother, here he is now." Mandaline said.
  17. Shalidor sat on the couch next to her, setting his scythe down.
  18. "Don't ask me how he did it. I have no idea." Mandolin said, with a laugh
  19. Mandaline replied "If you want magic, talk to Shalidor, my brother. He's a Guardian, so he has a mastery of almost any magic type. Proud of him, I am."
  20. Shalidor said nothing, holding the door open with his scythe. He entered after Bat.
  21. Balinor went to the closet and opened it. Inside was a metal door, which he opened with a loud mechanical whirr. A large room was inside, and many robots and metal scraps, as well as projects that were to be completed, were to be found within. Balinor cast a Banishing spell, which prevented any unwanted entry both physically and magically.
  22. Mandaline shook her head. "I have no magic talent whatsoever." She said, putting on the helmet.
  23. Mandaline patted the armor with affection. "This has been tested. The shields alone dosentigrate the bullets of their weapons. The armor wards off RPGs like they're nothing. Not even a Grim Reaper will puncture these!"
  24. Shalidor smiled and answered "You think so, eh? How much further to thy living quarters?"
  25. Mandaline smiled. "Well, I didn't have time to add the wing attatcents."
