I interested in battling. I need to see how well my team stacks up before going into doing wifi battles.

When it comes to battling friends or people I know, I'm not afraid to crush them and laugh.

But if it's someone I don't know, I kinda have to feel bad too.

I'm kinda the opposite. All my pokemon are insane fast, but their defense levels aren't exactly amazing.

Well, I usually EV train my Pokemon in stats where they are the strongest in. That is why my team is usally split between half being defenders and the others being the hit hard and fast types.

Well, I play tournament OU, there's not really such a thing as "Better" pokemon, since we're all lvl 100, fully ev'd, etc.

No Legendaries allowed in the battles I play

Though, I legitimately felt bad for one guy I played, he had a rainteam... Magnezone... Timid with choice specs, with an unlimited rain dance thanks to my oponents politoad, Infernape went out, set up rocks, died (Like he's supposed to). Sceptile emerged, Enemy switched, I got off a sword's dance, he sent out empoleon after i killed his quagsire. He one shot sceptile with Ice beam... which is what i was hoping to happen. Sent Magnezone out, Magnet pull prevented Empoleon from switching, I thundered the rest of his team to oblivion...

I actually felt bad afterwards

That is brutal but some people really do not make their teams stand out to help out each other's weaknesses thus they get clobbered badly and well the few times I played against those people and I am dominating, they rage quit. The one Pokemon that has given me headaches more than others is Seaking if it has the hidden dream world ability, lightningrod, making all electric attacks worthless outside of Thunder Wave which leaves only grass the only type that has the strongest advantage.

You know, after battling and losing a lot through the wifi battles, I am going to work on making my Pokemon go faster since somehow the opponent always seems to get the first strike against me thus I have to EV train them in speed. Lame thing is that I have not been able to battle against any local people and I have yet battled against friends I haved added to my game.

Well, I just got a level 100 shiny Umbreon through the GTS Neogitations as well as a level 100 Scizor. I still want to get a Suicune and Entei but people are being so darn picky about what they want, either level 100 legendaries, shiny, hacked or a combination of the three.
