You still taking requests?

You draw ponies differently than most, and that's a strength. I'm fond of that Blue Roan Appaloosa, particularly how her head is a bit more pony-like and a bit less round and cartoony.
-
I like the left one better.

Dr. Whooves is a time traveller, who is reborn into new bodies when he dies. These sorts of things happen.
So he died and came back in 5 seconds flat?
He died, many hours or days passed, then he traveled back in time to 5 seconds after he died and picked up where he left off.

Pinkie was my favorite at one point, but I had forgotten what made her so. This episode reminded me.

And also too:

The loop didn't require any pixel editing. I just had to snip some frames from the beginning and end.

Spike is in the second tier. Poll: http://equestria.electronook.com/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=213&hilit=favorite+second+tier

Oh, and THANK YOU!!

Aaaand, there we go. Infini-loop

But that one's all squishy.
This one should have the right aspect ratio. I can always adjust that in resizing!

I just noticed this

Also, you messed up the numbers after you by not posting one
I already messed up earlier because someone snuck a post in before I could hit submit. I'm already a horrible failing failure who fails at failing to fail 83
(There is a number in this post).

Rarity likes treating Spike like a slave, and Spike likes being Rarity's slave. It's mutual.

HA! We were on 90 and you posted 1% and 9% FAIL HAHAHAHAHAHA NOW WHO IS THE FAIL PONY. I LAUGH. HAHAHA.

The shading is growing on me. I'm getting better at it, and it's damn useful.
-> Tweaka-tweaky-tweak. Lower-right DX is the one I'm settling on, with a few tweaks to the mane shading.

Love the new style with the eyes. The more simple, iconic look to them makes them seem so much more clear and adds to the expressions.
Thank you! It took a lot of work, and it's never easy to abandon something you've invested time into to start over, but it was well worth it.
Do you prefer the face shaded or unshaded? I feel like shaded looks a bit cheesy.
The hair will remain shaded either way.

Also, I don't suppose you could post a larger version of the parasprite one? That's really sweet loop.
-
Could you loop this video from 8:45 - 847ish?

Basically what I'm thinking is to get a loop of Rainbow's loop so that she's just spinning in the frame.
You're the best, Skye.

5 expressions FINISHED:
^-^ or
;-;
8D or :awesome:
I may go back and add shading to the face (esp. for the crying)
Edit: Hmm, I could probably rotate the Awesome Face toward us a bit.
Moar Edit:
I'm inclined to the ones without shaded faces actually. Thoughts, anyone?

Another loop that could quite capably fascinate me. It's hypnotic.

After all sorts of hemming and hawing, I've decided to reboot Silver Lining:
The original was poorly planned and inconsistent from one image to the next, and I found myself hitting roadblocks every 3 seconds.
On first glance, similar to the existing. 3 major changes:
1. I've rebuilt her with a bit more of a 3D structure in mind, and she hews closer to the show's design. The 4th image there, "3/4ths view" needs a tweak (and now that I'm posing here, I think I know what that tweak is). Hopefully, this will make it easier to paint her at different angles, which should help me get things done more quickly.
2. I've redone her hair for various reasons. For starters, she fits much more closely the concept of "sun and clouds." Her hair is a lot more visually interesting now, I think, and "clouds" are the sort of shapeless things that don't demand too much of pixels.
This borrows plenty from BrianBlackberry's design, and a bit from Cherilee as well. Having both of these as a reference should help me with the nasty hair rotating issues that have plagued me.
3. It's 24 pixels tall now. You can't tell it here, but that extra pixel will be handy if I need to do something like make her ears perk UP, or have her open her jaw.
The other major change planned is to add shading to the hair. It'll look a bit more like storm clouds, with dark grey underneath. This will contrast the hair right where it borders the face, eliminating the need for a border, which will buy me a pixel right there in the middle of the face OMIGOD ANOTHER PIXEL TO PLAY WITH.
Color tweaks down the line too, as well as eye color.
After that, it's just a matter of building expressions then aliasing them until they're smooth and the inevitable funny spots are fixed.

That was my response, but people just told me I was being a negative nelly. I dunno. She led the project, and she's not going to lead it anymore. She was on this project from day one, and it's by and large her creative vision. I'm not saying that it's not the product of the contributions of many others, but she was the most important player, and she's going to be a lot less involved now. Things might turn out alright, but I see this as a cause for concern. Leadership changes mean something. I hope things turn out for the best. I suspect it unlikely that the show will immediately suck, at the least. Whether it does in the mid and long term, however, remains to be seen.
The Simpsons got better after Matt Groening went from producer to creative consultant, but that's far from a common result. Ren and Stimpy suffered after John K. left (leaving it in the hands of Spongebob's Bob Camp), and later, when Ren and Stimpy was revived with John K. only, it sucked worse. Taking it a step further, musical bands rarely survive the loss of their band leaders, and even losing a non-leader can have a major impact. Creative works are the product not only of the individual contributions of their creators, but of the interplay between these people as well.
Changes in leadership can be for good or ill, but they're always disruptive.
Edit: That said, she's not leaving entirely. This should smooth the transition. Now, the question is who WILL be running the show?
