Motivation: Ashwood wants to help Earth Ponies and Pegasi to become more involved in the arts and letters and to promote a better access to arts in general for the masses. He aspires to build ties with influential figures in Equestria to reach his long-term goal and consider his professions as a scribe and an occasional journalist as a great asset to do so.

    Likes: literacy, arts, tea, nature

    Dislikes: noise, heat, crowd, teamwork

Character Summary: Ashwood mother, Lightfeather is librarian and his father, Steel Pen is historian and archivist. They met as Steel Pen was teaching Equestria history in Manehattan college, Lightfeather being one of his student. He taught her his most precious knowledge, his family writing technique.

Very young Ashwood was already surrounded by books and was fascinated by the stories his parents read him. Most of the ponies at the public library were unicorns and Ashwood soon discovered it was far easier for them to continue studying than for other ponies, considering their magic was of considerable help to handle the quill.

After much practice he succeeded to follow the path of his parents and write by holding a pen nib between his teeth. Demonstrating his talents to Swift Ink, an elderly but renowned unicorn scribe, this one took the decision to make him his pupil so he could perfect the unusual technique his family passed on from generation to generation. Determined to pursue his passion he trained endlessly until the day he finally rivaled his mentor quality and speed of his writing. The feat earned him his cutie mark.

At the moment he works as a scribe and courier for the nobless of Manehattan and takes commands to write articles for various local newspapers. He lives in his own flat and rarely visit his parents as his relations with his father are tense. This one considers Ashwood will to generalize their family writing technique to as many earth ponies and pegasus as possible as a personal treason. He often visits his venerable mentor, this one always being prompt to cheer him up in periods of doubt.

  2. I got super anxious over internet stuffs recently. Back sweating, tension in the hands, super irregular sleep, lose appetite.

There is so much drama on internet sometimes I feel like I am becoming maniac. I should really stay away of troubled zones

  3. It depends on what you mean by improving your life. Quite frankly when I see most species I fail to realize how anything else than taking care of his health and his morale to improve his life is not very subjective. I'm pretty much convinced most mammals doesn't need more than minimal comfort, distraction and company to be happy with their life, including humans if they ignore the general consensus.

  4. Sorry by advance for the approximate english.

Carrots in their honey and butter sauce

    Carrots

    Bouillon cube

    Honey

    Butter

    Salt, pepper, garlic, mixed herbs

Peel 5 nice carrots a person, rinse them, cut them in thin slices. Boil them in water for 20 minutes with a bouillon cube (don't add the carrots before the water boils). Taste to check the carrots are tender.

Separate carrots from their juice, put a frying pan on your burner (low/moderate temperature). Put a good amount of butter and a few good spoonfuls of honey in the frying pan and blend until the butter is molten. Taste and adjust until you get the desired balance of butter and honey in your sauce depending on your preferences. Add a couple spoonfuls of the carrot cooking juice in the pan and blend again.

Add the carrots in your pan and let them cook 10 minutes in the sauce. When the sauce seems to dry add a little more of the carrots cooking juice and blend. Taste to be sure you got the desired cooking time (carrots have to melt in mouth), add salt, pepper, garlic, mixed herbs and serve accompanied by grilled salmon or roasted chicken or rice and lard.

  5. Strangely I am not much stressed IRL but when I have to read my mails or my PM I sometimes feel paralized. I think I'm anxious to be misinterpreted because of the lack of vocal intonation and body language in this kind of communication.

  6. Hi everypony, I read most good on this site so I decided to take a peek here before deciding if I migrate or not.

I'm 30, have interests in literacy, philosophy, psychology and grunge music. I will probably RP if I don't succomb to an attack of lazyness :)
